Well, its been 3 months since my Grandad passed away and its been very surreal time for me. For those that don't know, who haven't read my PPR, he was essentially my Dad. Lived with him all my life until I met my wife and always remained close to him. Without me knowing, you guys did what you always do best - you jumped to surround me, look after me when I felt quite lost and being great friends whenever I needed it. Exactly what you'd expect family to do. But you also gave me an opportunity to always have him remembered, by me, my family and everyone else that he helped along his journey. For that, i'll be eternally grateful to you all. The tree and plaque you all contributed to will be placed at the Cricket Club down the road from where we lived. It was where I played all my cricket through the early years and where he was right by my side. I wanted to put this up when I had the plaque in my hands (came Friday) and was very apt timing, because this Sunday the family met up for a special meal - his last wish rather than have his money spent on a funeral. It was a great day, and great memories made. Even better when I could show some family members what all of YOU guys and girls did. I didn't need more reasons to keep this place going but just when I needed it, its perfectly timed, like always. Thank You will never be enough. One last note is I want you to know that i'm getting better - He's always with me when we play. He sits below me, every night we game together and when I post on FG like right now. I'm going to keep it that way because he made me believe never to give up on things. Like this place. GGFG

Yes, the i5 is an all round faster and better cpu than your A10. If you’re not looking to do a full upgrade for a while then I’d say yes it’s worth getting a motherboard for. It will be hard to find stock due to the age but if you’re on a budget constraint I’d go for the cheapest you can find from one of the main brands (Asus, msi, asrock, gigabyte) that meet you requirements for sata ports for harddrives, sound output etc.

This place has a habit of picking people up just when they need it. Thanks for your support when I needed it, it all comes back around.

Come one come all, so far no one outside of FG has joined the server yet, so this is a good chance to familiarize yourself with the game and the building mechanics, combat and crafting as no one will be running around trying to blow your shit up, kill you or steal you stuff. We'll help you out if need be with gear, crafting items or just general advice and knowledge to get you going!

That mother board looks alright 🙂 As for a cpu mother board combo, I’d say no. If you’re going to upgrade then it’s worth doing a proper upgrade. The problem is any more recent cpu’s worth upgrading to are all going to be ddr4 (whereas you’re ddr3). Which you aren’t going to do in your current budget. Any combo you could get in your budget would be a small upgrade and still on a dead upgrade path as it will also be ddr3.

Leverage the next... I've done a few runs already and it's a very unique and polished game. Takes a little time to get into the rhythm of things but it's really challenging and enjoyable. I'll probably pick up the full version in the sale. Wish I picked it up before as it was once a fiver and in the Humble Monthly. It's now about £17 but it has had a lot of work done to it since so it feels like a brand new experience than what it was on release it seems.

What's the best (most affordable) motherboard for an i5-4570? Right now I'm looking at the ASUS P8Z77-V LX LGA 1155 Intell Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel It seems a little pricey though. Any other recommendations? I was under the impression that it needed to have Z77 in the name for the correct socket. Is that right? Someone else online had mentioned the ASRock H370M PRO4 LGA1151/Intel H370 It's a lot cheaper but I'm not 100% sure on the socket type. I would really like it to have 4 RAM slots and room for an R9 290 GPU. Oh, and one other quick question... are CPU coolers brand specific? I bought a Hyper 212 Evo for my A10-5800K. I'd only say to make a decision on what's best long term. If you're likely to move onto a faster cpu in the next couple of years you might want to look at the newer mobos. Older mobos may not be compatible with a lot of new hardware. If you're likely to stick to the i5 for a considerable amount of time then maybe you dont need to worry about that. I suppose I just never have noticed it because it is such a clusterfuck of a map that whenever we've played on that map even in previous games I have literally no expectations from what comes out of it. I think its seeing the positive in the map - Great for shotgun medals and potentially some killstreaks for certain challenges.

It's not just because of that. They changed the layout of the map which allows players to look from one corner into another corner. IW just seem clueless.
