  1. Hi Elliott, My kids are all in their 30's so this may not be relevant but here goes... 1. Not really. At the time I was reasonably fit thanks to gym, squash and karate. Now I have still have the body of a god but unfortunately it's Buddah 2. Nothing really. I had a really understanding wife regarding karate which was mainly in the evenings. The squash and gym were done before work or at lunch at the sports facility right next door to where I worked. Anne's fitness was mainly focused around walking and we both ate reasonably healthily

  2. It's decent. It just needs a couple of tweaks for it to be great, you can tell there is a good game underneath. Really it should have been released in November.

  3. I actually think the better twitch players here, like yourself Kenny, agree with that sentiment but everyone else is enjoying it as it's different to the rest of the CoDs. I said before it's about changing your game but actually I just think it's being more aware of your surroundings. Maps are so open that theres just a few more places to look. It's a shame you arent enjoying it as much, have you played much of Gunfight mode? Rachel, this thread is full of more positive comments than any other CoD over the past 5-6 years. Genuinely is a far more polished game than the rest we've all played. Your sniping kills would actually be appreciated in this 😂

It's very annoying in COD when the shotguns are useless.

  5. HI, I'm just wondering if anyone on here has experience in shipping their PC? As I will be moving out soon to some where else and I'm thinking of taking my PC with me. Has anyone had experience with this and what was it like? More importantly was the PC damaged in any ways? Thank you

    Care Package

Nice to see Care Packages being viable again! The streaks are really fun in this game plus you don't have to worry too much about securing the drop safely, with the maps being fairly large and the spawns sitting deep. I think I've had every big killstreak from Juggernaut, Gunship, Chopper, Support Helo and White Phosphorous more than once plus if you're rolling hardline, you can get two or 3 packages per game. You will get a lot of Personal Radars, UAV's, Counters and airstrikes, but there are so many powerful ones available, at worst, you will get something half decent in a game at the very least.

  7. I'm enjoying it. I've just stuck to HC KC and it's pretty good. I also don't have a problem with the maps. Even Piccadilly Circus isn't that bad. Even Azzir Cave is OK if you stay outside. Via the FG App

  8. Hi all! if you have been blessed with children or are expecting a child could you possibly answer 2 questions for me please? 1. Are you concerned with how your health and wellness will impact you as a parent? Yes/No If you answered Yes to question 1: 2. What are the obstacles you face that stop you reaching the level of health, fitness and wellness you want? thanks! Elliott

  9. I was but not so much health as I was playing football on Sundays and footy training once a week. Wellness on the other hand was about how I would handle the change in lifestyle and more importantly how my wife would potentially change/feel. Thing is, everyone is different and so is your relationships. I'm more of a person that just wanted Hayley to be healthy and able to cope when I was not around. And when I was around I wanted to do everything to make her job easier. It's why I always woke up and sorted both kids out even still now. Even when she breast fed I would want to pass them to her. That also helps if she has a c-section (we had both like that). Priorities man. Priorities! Without you knowing they just become the most important things next to your wife. So stuff just happens and you don't think twice to give up stuff for them. That didnt mean for me giving up football straight away but when they were old enough to be interactive then you realise how much time you lose out with them when working full time. I didnt initially but I've now fully realised over recent years that a work/life balance is so important. I think you can also miss your own time at some points so that's where your situation, support and your relationship strength truly shows. If you or your wife need some chill time e.g. gaming, then you still need that stuff. Funnily, I can never explain how but it all seems to work out. I imagine everyone just gets used to a new 'normal' life, whatever it is for them.

  10. Yeah it's hard Gazza. I've wanted to enjoy it, but seems there is a lot wrong with the game. I know it's new and takes time to get things sorted. I just don't seem to be engaged by it, I play a bit and jump off again. Even if I have time to play it for a good couple of hours, I tend not to indulge. Whereas previous titles, I could binge and grind. Prestiges, calling cards, challenges etc. I actually had a lot of fun when that 725 was OP. Don't get me wrong, it shouldn't be allowed and was ridiculous. But there was a "fun" element to it. Sick of joining in on a game of picadilly dom only to realize your "stuck" at A flag and can't get out of spawn. It's the game itself, it promotes defensive play too much. Not that I was an Uber run n gun beast, but the game is best played with X2 claymores, pre-fire every corner, mount your weapon whenever possible, only walk don't run because the footsteps sound like an Elephant stampede and dead silence isn't ready yet! It just sickens me, the fact all the maps are huge (Apart from the new map) and people are crawling round the map, lying prone, hiding whatever. Makes the game feel even slower. Never in my life have I seen a cod that has so many games that are not completed because the time ran out.

I didn't mean in this game. There have been a few CODs where shotguns were basically useless; you wouldn't even get a kill if you hit somebody point blank.

  12. I've shipped PCs to the other side of the world, it all depends on how you do it. Most compotents will be fine but i'd remove the graphics card and maybe any big heat sink. Also when you put it back together i'd reseat everything before turning it back on. If you're putting it in a suit case, then just stick a fragile sticker on the thing and all will be good. Also wrap your graphics card in a static proof bag, that may sound obvious but always worth reminding people.

  13. Totally agree with James on the scoreboard/menu interface. A blind Mexican child could design it better. Game is still meh, full of campers, maps are boring and forgettable. The thing is, I played a lot of cod's. Every cod has campers and other issues with guns/maps etc. But the rage is real. I find even when I'm having a good game, I'm still not enjoying it. And when it goes bad it's awful. It's the worst cod I've ever played. Ghosts is as bad, but it was released so long ago it has an excuse. But to roll this game out as it was, pathetic. So many things wrong with this game. So what we have to wait for another 2-3 fixes and the game will almost be playable? Why should we have to wait till after Christmas to get a half decent game?

I agree. A shotgun should be lethal at close range. I just hope they don't nerf it so it isn't even a OHK at 5 metres-ish.

    Gunfight

I actually think 3v3 is a possibility as 2v2 was made for the competitive scene and I can see 3v3 is a solid comp that many people enjoy. The maps would likely still work with 2 more people on it but it's good they're trying something completely different with 2v2. There is more demand on you to play well in duos and when it happens you feel you've contributed way more than a Domination match.

  16. Leicester look incredible...again. but this time with some experienced and top pros. Rodgers has always been a solid manager, ironically Arsenal should've got him when they had the chance. I hope Maddison stays there but I sense next year he could be at Liverpool, his supported club.

See I disagree. I think 3v3 would take the suspense out of it. With the size of the maps 2v2 is perfect except for Hill. That map can fuck off

I'm still pissing people off in CQC so it's all good! I got a neat triple kill in slow mo whilst the victory blue screen was up and the animations looked epic. I'm kinda glad they nerfed it but I don't want them to take the fun out of using wacky guns like that by making them so weak, they are practically worthless to use.

It's still perfectly usable, just reduced the range slightly to stop those long range 1 hit kills Sent from my Samsung S9+ using Tapatalk

It's a decent addition although 3v3 would've been better IMO.

  22. I definitely enjoyed it more than the beta. I only had 2 bad games as well; one where I was dumped into a game where the other team were winning and had loads of streaks, the other was on Azhir Cave which is just an awful map.

  23. People have started moving around a lot more in the past few days. The first week was bad with the camping.

  24. I played a few games earlier. Didn't seem too bad to be honest. I wasn't getting insta-killed like in the beta. And there didn't seem to be too many campers. But it's early days so there's still plenty of time for me to get annoyed. Via the FG App

  25. I agree with everything you’re saying. Once you hit level 56 there’s a whole new set of challenges that open up and they do track automatically. I wish the UI was more polished. Show what calling cards and emblems are there and how to get them. I do like how you can pick a challenge and work towards competition however I do hate these they are bugged and half ass work.

  28. So I've played about 50 matches so far: - 725 needs nerfing - not seen as much claymore spam as people are complaining about. I've been done a handful of times not every game - gunsmith is great - perks are a bit meh - killstreaks should recycle in a life. I got a chopper gunner just now and would like the next lot of gun kills I had to have counted for another set of streaks. - support streaks would have been good - piccadilly is quite possibly the WORST map in cod history and I quit out everytime it's up. It's so bad. - spawns need work still. - now I'm getting used to the map I dont feel so hard done by. What is also horribly lazy of them is the total lack of calling cards and emblems...its a disgrace compared to what was on offer in MW2..same goes for the challenges not tracking automatically. Overwatch 2

It does look more like DLC but it’s exactly what they needed, plus it means that when theres an update you won’t have to copy 90gb.

  33. Liverpool 5-5 Arsenal last night was pretty insane - some great football being played by young and fringe players. Quarter final draw Oxford Utd v Man City Man Utd v Colchester Utd Aston Villa v Liverpool Everton v Leicester City We played Man City at home last year in this competition and lost 0-3 but we're in a far better position this season so we should give them more of a game. It's pretty crazy but quite a few of us are a tad disappointed with the draw - it would've been nice to have a shot at someone we haven't played for a long time like Liverpool, or where we stand a chance of progressing to the semi finals against weaker teams Colchester and Man Utd😎
