  2. Maybe so, but somewhere down the road you might eventually get it, and you don't want to be stuck in an organisation that has been named by Diddums. Seriously [emoji1787] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

  3. @Diddums @GazzaGarratt @Plumbers Crack @tronic44 @crispymorgan @BO7H B4RRELS and anyone else interested, let me have your thoughts. We need: a name, and need to decide what our primary and secondary activities are going to be (freelancers, bounty hunters, piracy, smuggling, exploration, mining, etc etc) organisation archetype whether the system should consider our organization as a roleplaying organization a short phrase or slogan for our organization (this will be used as our organization tagline) Check the link below and select 'create' to view the options. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/community/orgs

You downloaded it - nice Yeah it does take quite a bit of RAM to run, I thought it was suggested 4Gb but always good to give as much as posisble. Watch out for Draconium reactors, they explode! To be honest though the whole Draconium evolution is late mid / end game so I wouldn't worry about that to begin with. A few general tips to start with is when searching the crafting menu if you type @ and the start of the mod name you will get all of that mod. So @Themral gives you all Thermal Expansion, @Tinkers will give you tinkers construct etc. Another general tip is make a sleeping bag. You still need a bed to set your spawn as in vanilla but a sleeping bag allows you to sleep anywhere and won't reset your spawn should you die. Very handy to have if you're out and about so you don't always need to go home to pass the night. Finally, on the items on the right side of the screen that you can click on to craft with, if you left click it will tell you how to craft it, right click will tell recipes it is used in. I'd say the first 2 mods that are worth getting in to is Aroma1997 Mining world - You go through a portal like a nether portal but it takes you to a flat mining world which you can dig up to your hearts content without ruining your normal world. The second is Tinkers Construct - it takes a little resource gathering to build the smeltery but it comes with the benefit of early game albiet manual ore doubling. The biggest advantage is the tools it allows you to build - picks, shovels, axes etc. that can be upgraded and modified. The perks each material has when making the tool or in modifying it you will need to look up as there's too many to list here I'd also say look in to setting up a refined storage system, it's my preferred storage system as it integrates a crafting grid and is easy to us, make things and see everything in one place. Though know, a Refined storage system isn't cheap to make so you'll need a little mining under your belt first. The refined storage system uses power though (mostly called RF in this mod pack) so before you can build it you'll need some of power generation. How you generate power is up to you, there's a number of generators that run on coal, lava, food or other fuel sources through to solar panels, extreme reactors (which won't explode so no worries there) to nether star generators or Draconium reactors (which can explode!) etc. After that though it is up to you, I think it's pretty clear I like the automation side of things so I go off down that route but there's no reason you have to so the choice is yours. Any questions though just ask and I'll try to answer them as best I can

Well, that was a bit torturous until I worked out it needed 6+gb to install everything and run without lagging...I’m out tonight so I’ll have a play tomorrow - anything in particular to try or watch out for?

    Will Blackout Go F2P?

Oh so you can select which one to play? Okay, that sounds like a different type of play and with that many respawns it must be a bit crazy. Still 4 max in a squad?

  11. I switched from Sky to BT last week. Quick hint to leaving Sky, when they ask you why in an attempt to talk you into staying with them, just say two words; Rupert Murdoch. Its amazing, they stop trying immediately lol. Anyway, watched Spurs v Man Shitty in 4K. Fucking awesome. Barcelona v Man Utd tonight will be a good 'un as well. 12. It all started with Delta Force 2 on PC. I played for one of the best teams in North America where we participated in the Black Flag League (BFL) Diablo 1 and 2 were in there somewhere. Loved running hacks on D1 that let me attack people in town, and D2 was a serious obsession. Starcraft Brood War, Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne filled a lot of the gaps in here. Guild Wars, I focused on the competitive Guild vs Guild (GvG) scene. (This is where the Plastic name came from) Left 4 Dead on Xbox 360. Played exclusively on MLG's Gamebattles. League of Legends. I played the beta, took the game very seriously and competed against a lot of folks who know founded some of the most prestigious organizations in esports. I love the game to death but Christ do they have the worst community in all of gaming, hands down. My first big MMO since I missed out on the WoW craze was SW:TOR. Huge into progression raiding and we server sever No. 2. (Powertech Tank all day!) Hearthstone. Ran a local chapter of fireside gatherings in Dallas Texas, and almost qualified for the first Blizzcon hearthstone event. (lost in the Zotac cup) Starcraft 2 was in here somewhere. Destiny. Founder a small clan, Ishtar Electric Company which is where I met Tigerburge. (We had him in one of our pug groups) Joined you guys! Rainbow Six Siege, which is my focus to this day. Overwatch here and there. Magic The Gathering: Arena TL:DR I have to find a game I can play against others or compete in/ have a team goal.

    Will Blackout Go F2P?

Yeah there's two maps. Normal blackout map, then the old Zombie map Alcatraz, which is capped at 40 players and 5 respawns per team. It's pretty chaotic but at the same time it's great for a few quick games, warm up before proper Blackout map, or just fast action fun

  17. Thanks to a lot sweat from Alan, my youngest, we managed to get a 1500mm desk I had into a 1505mm gap. I painted over the marks we left on the walls this morning and it all looks pretty good. Just having a quick go at this keyboard and mouse malarky... Via the FG App

  18. "Audi Drivers" "Get outta my way n00b" I like mining, and piracy. I'm assuming this just gives you a perk or something and you can still do the rest anyway? Role playing? No. I have had sex before.
