  4. @Spacedeck It really doesn't matter what version, orchestra etc. - the music is usually the same, just played very slightly differently by different players (i.e. different interpretations) if that makes sense. There are different genres of classical music and they're based mainly on periods in time - medieval, baroque, classical, romantic, 20th century and modern. For example, Mozart is a classical composer, JS Bach is a baroque composer, Brahms is a romantic composer etc. etc. When I get a bit of time, I'll do a beginners guide!

  12. I can't see how the game can recover now - The Division 2 released today and seems a far more stable and well-produced game and this is off the back of a terrible week Anthem has already had with community fury regarding missing features and apparent lies from the developer all the way up to release being discovered. Supposedly a bug accidentally caused 'fun' within the game as items were dropping faster that the normal rate but BioWare patched that out immediately meaning it went back to a mundane grind. There were also reports that item stats are also broken so much so the first rifle you get in the game is actually the most powerful! This on top of the wealth of problems the game currently has and the fundamental issues that exist with the design. Anthem could very well be 2019's answer to Fallout 76!

  13. ...an eSport franchise spot in the COD League😂😂😂 Maybe if this was a decade ago and the franchise got its foot in the eSports door then maybe this would seem credible rather than laughable. The brand is in rapid decline, it's mocked as a competitive product, viewership is embarrassingly low and they haven't produced a game that's designed to accommodate this purpose since Black Ops 2. The fact league play arrived 4 months late in BO4 just shows how serious they take this aspect and the $25m fee also demonstrates how money-grabbing they are. Remember when they said the Uplink mode would redefine competitive online gaming... There is money to be had in eSports no doubt but anyone fronting this kind of money whether it be full or a partial investment really needs their heads tested. I can't see COD ever becoming a popular eSport brand and I can't see it ever returning to the presence it once held. Most of the publicity it generates now is negative and Activision have done themselves no favours in tarnishing the series as a whole. There's only a fraction of interested competitive players left too.

  15. I think it all goes back to Age of Ultron and Tony’s dream where everyone was dead but him. I think he will have to choose and he will choose to be the ultimate hero. Personally I can’t see it wouldn’t want to see anyone else play Iron Man

  28. I don't like the case, the cooling is lacklustre, the PSU is cheap and never buy a cheap PSU. Better off getting one built to specification. In just over a week, there's going to be a big PC update that will be right up your street, just hang tight until then. Can't wait to get you on Star Citizen but just a little more patience and you'll be laughing [emoji41] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

  29. @Diddums @phil bottle @crispymorgan @The3rdWalker @Spacedeck @Greboth @J4MES OX4D and anyone else How does this look? It came up on hotukdeals yesterday and got a thumbs up https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/382373140595?ul_ref=http%3A%2F%2Frover.ebay.com%2Frover%2F1%2F710-53481-19255-0%2F1%3Fff3%3D4%26pub%3D5574894536%26toolid%3D10001%26campid%3D5336549684%26customid%3D1732191693%26mpre%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.ebay.co.uk%252Fitm%252F382373140595%26srcrot%3D710-53481-19255-0%26rvr_id%3D1895903146891%26rvr_ts%3D7f47c24c1690a9cc22a5d8e4ffe64dd4&ul_noapp=true I don’t understand the AMD heirarchy (?) so can’t tell where this cpu would fall If I add the OS and tweak the hdd + ssd drive sizes it comes in at £1439. To up the graphics card to a 8Gb RTX 2080 would add £255 - is 8Gb enough or should I be aiming at 11Gb? Any thoughts or recommendations guys? I’ll wait if that’s still the concensus of opinion but, as it was in their daily mail shot, I thought I’d throw it out there. Thanks

  32. You can now 1v1 someone with a watch? I'm getting one In all seriousness, i've thought about getting something similar as i'd like to keep track of the amount i walk around during non-filming days. When i'm on a shoot i'm constantly on my feet but feel i should be on my feet more when i'm not on a shoot. I do have an i-phone though but really don't want to get an apple watch.

  35. I've had a Garmin Forerunner 235 for a few years now. It does everything I need and I'm happy with it. Haven't used any of the app connections though. One thing I'd point out is that the actual screen brightness is about 50% less than what you think it will be. At least on mine, thats the way it is. If you look at the pictures online they make it seem really bright with vivid colors, but in actuality the colors are extremely muted and basic. The battery lasts forever though so it's worth the trade off for me. I can also change out the bands easily which was one of my top requirements. At quick glance, it seems even the newest Forerunner has about the same display quality as my 235. Likely the same for their other watches too. https://forums.garmin.com/forum/into-sports/running/forerunner-935-aa/1316799-935-vs-235-screen-brightness

  36. I've wanted one since I started running. Eventually I hope to afford a Garmin Forerunner 645. In the UK, these watches are only really a thing for anyone into a fitness activity, although within the community they are very popular. Most of my tracking comes from using the Strava app on my phone.

  37. It works. On the topic of the 5k training program I'm doing, I did 37m 50s today, and that was with a 5 minute warm-up "slow jog". Obviously not great, but not bad where I'm at. I'm dropping the weight I put on after my last injury, which will of course help. I was at 242 when I had to stop running, am at 254 now. For reference, I was 215 when I could do 2 miles in 13 minutes. I'm shooting for 210 or under before I start picking up much strength training again. My knee is going to do a lot better if I can get my weight back down and I'm not as into picking up heavy things as I used to be.

  38. I'm listening to the first video and I'm sure I've heard another version before. This is the thing that gets me about classical music. There is so many different variations with all these long confusing names, different orchestras, composers etc. Compared to other types of music, this is the hardest to actually understand. I second what @Plumbers Crack suggested and you give us all a classical music thread. I'd love to hear your favourites or even the more obscure pieces you listen to.
