Even the Battlefield 5 Frostbite 3 engine is beginning to show its age for me. I'm struggling to see much of an advancement over Battlefield 3 in BFV aside from some textures. All the issues that seem to plague it still persist years later. EA were charging people £30 more to play the bug-ridden game 5 days early which is just ludicrous on both sides.

Bethesda and a host of other triple AA pricks need to get their acts together. The amount of AAA games now running on old out of date engines is a disgrace. Poor investment in new engines and tech while loot boxing and paywalling parts of games or DLC that should be in the original purchase. The industry is a joke. But then, so is this whole planet of morons who can't see beyond a quick buck.

While I am a gooner, I am mainly a fan of good football and I have said since Poch took over spurs he’s done a great job and it’s good to see them actually fighting in the bpl and now having made a league once considered to always be won by one of the "top four" now be more competitive with the 6 strongest teams all doing well. Except united’s gone down the shitter again... But yes, I thought they would struggle to manage top 4 with having to compete in the league, cl and the cups and not bringing anyone in when Poch said he needed and wanted players. As you see my prediction of chelsea also fell short of the mark so far, but no one’s commented on that 🤔 Then again, they did bring in a coach who managed to get a belgian winger who by most wasn’t considered a world star and turning him into a high class striker in the italian league who also holds his own in the belgian national team and in the cl. So hat’s off to Sarri and Poch.

How is there a 'community' in the first place for this game if they're literally charging for everything? Regardless of the changes to happen I wouldn't be buying a game that had very little way to progress by playing rather than spending money.

Had a couple of blasts on it before and after Spurs v Inter Milan. I already want to feed my horse back to a decent weight before the RSPCA turn up with the ALF in tow.

Let’s take a look at what’s coming up over the next few weeks: December 4, 2018 Next week’s update will bring an increase to the Stash limit, as well as a variety of performance and stability improvements, balance changes, and multiple bug fixes to the game. Some notable issues being addressed in this update include: Stash Limit Increased: We know many of you have been asking for an adjustment to the Stash storage limit, and we’re happy to share that we’re increasing it from 400 to 600. While this is somewhat conservative, we plan to increase the storage cap further once we verify that this change will not negatively impact the stability of the game. Boss Loot: Players should correctly receive two to three items after taking down a boss, depending on the creature’s difficulty and level. Cryolator Effects: Players hit with the Cryolator are now Chilled, Frosted, or Frozen depending on how many times they are hit. The duration of movement speed reductions applied by these effects have also been decreased from 2 hours to 30 seconds. Respawning When Overencumbered: We’ve resolved an issue affecting players who die while overencumbered that only allowed them to Respawn at Vault 76. Now, overencumbered players will be able to respawn at the nearest discovered Map Marker. Stuck in Power Armor: We’ve addressed an issue in this patch that could cause players to become stuck inside Power Armor. We’re also aware that there are some additional cases where this can occur, and we are actively investigating them. December 11, 2018 The next update after December 4 is currently planned for the following week. Like previous patches, it will include a variety of bug fixes, but we’re also planning to bring some more notable changes and features to the game. You can catch a preview of these improvements below, and a full list of changes will be included in the December 11 patch notes. PC Additions: A Push-to-Talk setting for Voice Chat, 21:9 resolution support, and a Field of View setting are all being implemented on PC with this update. SPECIAL Respec: After level 50, you’ll be able to choose between a new Perk Card, or moving a SPECIAL point you had previously allocated. C.A.M.P. Placement on Login: Your C.A.M.P. will no longer be automatically blueprinted and stored if someone is occupying your location when you log into a server. Instead, you’ll receive a notification that your space is occupied. If you decide to find a new home for your C.A.M.P. on that server, it will be free to do so. However, if you don’t attempt to place down your C.A.M.P., you will be able to switch to a new server where that spot is vacant and your C.A.M.P. will be fully assembled and waiting for you. Bulldozer: This is a new C.A.M.P. feature that will allow you to remove small trees, rocks, and other obstructions so it’s easier to create and place your C.A.M.P. when and where you want it. You can also "Bulldoze" to clear these items from the surrounding area to make your C.A.M.P. feel more like home! We know the size of our previous patch on November 19 was very large, and downloading it was a frustrating experience for many of you—especially those who primarily play Fallout 76 on consoles. They're all bloody 18 hours a day internet cafe Koreans basically. Instead of this being a mass market F2P card game like the others; Valve seem to be appealing to a smaller pocket of die-hard card gamers who they could probably milk to buggery over years rather than having millions of gamers just dropping in for a free ride. I'd rather play online poker.

Did you try it on console Phil? Apparently the FOV is terrible on there and can't be changed. On PC you can scale the HUD down, ramp up the FOV and apart from that really chunky vertical gun, it seems to appear decent enough. I do play on 21:9 admittedly so I'm not sure about the standard 16:9 but certainly on PC it can be fiddled with.

My short term PSN subscription has ran out so I wont be able to try it but apparently it's quite microtransaction-heavy where guns costs $1000's yet money is really hard to come by unless you spend real $$$. If this is the case then it'll be an easy pass especially as GTA online was nothing too special for me. I've had a wonderful time on the single player which is the true aspect of the game but it would be a shame if the product got diminished by publisher greed.

First thing I did yesterday since the recent update was do a Vanguard strike with @crispymorgan. Dropped a Queensbreaker. Wanted this for ages as its supposed to be amazing at PvP and Gambit invader killing.

Wigan 3-1 Blackburn We were dreadful tonight. It's been one of those weeks where it would be best to forget we even existed after also losing to Preston 4-1 on Saturday. Derby games are not the ones you want to be losing as well. The league remains really close up top. I don't think the Christmas table is going to be an indicator for the first time in a long time.

Mkay so I split this up from the other thread as it's worth it. Will add my bit soon, was gonna do it now but I'm playing with my balls.

Unfortunately, all the money just likely goes to shareholders and to increase the stock price. If Activision truly cared about investing in the brand, we wouldn't have gotten 20hz servers (which only were upgraded when they got exposed by a technical expert) and the series would be running on a current generation engine rather than one from the 90's still. Games like this, regardless of sales always have a set calendar for features and will always be supported especially with developers being on the fixed payroll - even Infinite Warfare had strong post-launch support despite barely having any players but its nothing to do with how much the game makes or how many play it. Annual COD games are nothing more than a cash grab and BO4 is the biggest culprit of them all IMO. Fornite and Siege have been done well from the off and not being an annual game has given gamers confidence to spend money knowing their product will be viable for years to come and developers know their customer base will still remain engaged until any possible sequels or when popularity declines. COD games tend to be dead before Christmas now so Activision simply put systems in which are designed to reel in the remaining loyal players rather than try to entice users back on board to a game that's essentially obsolete later that year with generous offerings. Perhaps if Call of Duty produced a really good game like BO2 which could prospectively last years and years, they could go down the Siege/Fortnite route and players would be more likely to invest in cosmetics and other stuff because it wouldn't be worthless when the next game arrives less than a year later.

SMGs are supposed to be close range. The fact that you still get beaten by ARs up close is just stupid. And shotguns are totally useless in this game.

Taken me a while but I finally loaded this up today. Haven't done much so far but generally it feels pretty well done. The story telling is much better than D1.
