Last few nights on Destiny have been really enjoyable and chilled. Just what I needed lately. I managed to get my first Last Wish Raid done with @Horrible_Hector @igotmollywhopped @Capn_Underpants @reaper-2201 and @Rico. Every phase we lucked out and did on our first try apart from the very end heart run which was on the second try. Really good to start to learn and I don't think we're far off getting it down regularly so we have some initial sherpas for all of us. @SensaiNemesis and @Amnotright joined them for another run which I'm sure they managed to nail after I went to bed. Chilled bounties and Crucible tonight, mixed in with helping some others that haven't had chance to go into the raid some practice at the first boss. @crispymorganhelped me explain the boss but unfortunately we didn't do it but has helped get more mechanics down for others next time. @Diddums wrecked in Crucible. That shoulder charge for 40 kills was hilarious. In fact we all did well, @Nutcuttlit @Misneach_ @Kemp210 had decent games in a group. Jade Rabbit dropped for me, had the catalyst from a separate game so I tried it and actually was pretty fun trying out a Scour Rifle. Definitely slower play but rewarding nonetheless. Then some Gambit with @Misneach_ @Kemp210 and @VGon_BGon48. Justin's first try at Gambit and out second game was on point. Managed to get two 4-kills invading that helped Kempy get to just one now needed for his Malfeasance. Matt got some much needed Powerful gear too. Thanks all for the last 2 days. Hopefully it shows above what fun can be had and how many of us are still doing so much to help each other. Cheers.

Metacritic currently had 97% from 71 reviews earlier. I think it's fair to say everyone is in agreement. I think it's pretty amazing that a game that is expected to have an online mode that is not ready for launch can still get this amount of top reviews.

All seems good from playing a few hours last night. I got a basic beginner house built, a mine down to diamond level but really only dug down and not done any real mining yet. I also built a small automatic chicken cooker if people need any food. It doesn’t produce that fast but it should always be running while one of us is around loading the chunk. Next thing I want to add it a water drop and elevator for the mine to make it easier to get up and down.

Ta Phil. Yep, all 450k. I just looked at some of the Championship and they range between 10-40k. Just done 3 of them. I'll do some more later and hopefully drop one when I level up too.

Spend 20 minutes on the game each day and you get a free car. You won't find any decent (or any at all as far as I can see) Gr3 for less than 450k. Do some races, you can earn 45k in the career races

PlayStation has announced it will be testing a new feature that allows you to change your name. The much-requested PSN Online ID Change feature is currently entering PlayStation's Preview Program. As of now, the feature will only be available to PlayStation users that have registered as testers for previous PS4 system software betas. For those that do get access, you'll be able to do your first change for free. Changes after that will cost $10 USD/CAD / €9.99 / £7.99. For PlayStation Plus members, it will cost $5 USD/CAD / €4.99 / £3.99 after the first change. To make the change, authorized users can access the feature through the Settings menu or via the Profile page of your PS4. You'll also get the ability to display your previous PSN ID alongside your new one (so your friends can recognize you). This is a choice users will have to make; once you decide to display your old ID or not, you won't be able to change this. Another caveat is that the new feature won't be compatible with all games. It will be compatible with PS4 games released after April 1, 2018, and "the majority of the most-played PS4 games" released before this date. PlayStation is making it clear not all PS4, PS3, and PS Vita games are guaranteed to support the feature, so users might see issues or errors in certain games. If you run into any issues with the change, PlayStation will let you revert back to your old ID free of charge. The preview program is set to go until the end of November 2018, and PlayStation has plans to roll it out for all PS4 players in early 2019. At that time, a full list of compatible games (those published before April 1, 2018) will be released.

Giving away all your secrets Phil I’ve been using the Jag F type simply as it is the only gr.3 car I have. I did a few laps (think 7 or 8 ) yesterday and set what I think is a respectable time. Though I know I cocked up the last corner on my fastest lap and lost 3 or 4 tenths to the finish line. So a faster time is definitely possible

Derby are starting to turn it on with a good run before Christmas. Sgeff Utd to me are the stand out team that you must not underestimate. Billy Sharp is prolific. I fear for Ipswich. They may need to go down to start again, sometimes it is the right thing for clubs to regain some stability. Swansea aren't the club I thought was going to be challenging. Whilst they beat us (Blackburn) in the midweek they aren't that dangerous and too technical in some parts for the Championship. Teams will take some aggression to them I'm sure. Leeds are doing their best to stay there but I'll stand my ground to think they'll start to tire after Christmas. I'm hoping we can stay in contention around 6th for a playoff spot. We looked very composed this year and there's a hope that we can kick on after Xmas with Sack and Graham scoring for fun. Fingers crossed 🤞

Not sure how such a simple feature could cause so many problems. Seems the ID is more than just a name - it's like a digital fingerprint coded into content and other aspects. I'm currently on a PSN temporary trial - last time I was on the network was back in 2011 when it was free (and taken down for 6 weeks by kid hackers!) and I must admit; all these years later, even with a now-paid for service; the same old back-end issues, restrictions and design problems still exist. Not sure if I can justify splashing out £40-50 on an annual subscription even if they do bait me with perks and free games that I probably wouldn't buy regardless. Sony really should have an account ID which is locked down and then a display name which you can change once a year or something and is set to your ID as default to start with.

Aston Villa have sacked Steve Bruce after one win in 9 games despite only being two points off the playoffs. I think it's a bad decision but they are really paying the price for not going up last year. Not sure if sacking him will solve anything though as they have to pay him off and source a new manager. It's amazing how much financial shit they are in and could easily end up like Sunderland and Charlton. Not even bumper crowds can mitigate the loss of the Premiership income and their huge outgoings. Retaining Jack Grealish in the summer instead of taking £20m and paying John Terry huge bucks last year is two decisions that could prove fatal in the long run.
