A pretty scathing analysis of the utterly shit netcode in this game. 10hz servers and you will ALWAYS get hit by somebody no matter how their ping is. Meaning you will get hit when you are way behind cover. And people still seem to be praising this shit show.

As most people know now, every week there'll be 10 Ascendant Chests scattered around the Dreaming City. These (and their associated platforms) can only be seen and interacted with if you've dropped a tab of LS- uh, I mean Queensfoil. There seems to be a triumph for each week of the three week corruption cycle for getting all 10, with a further triumph (worth 300 points!) for getting the full 30. To make everyone's lives easier finding the chests, you can use a hunter with Keen Scout to see the chests on radar. Then it's just be a matter of looking up, down left, right to find the platforms to get to it if needed. "But I don't like hunters!", I hear you say! Fear not my triple-jump phobic friend, I have just the hot tip for you. According to a recent find on reddit, there are literal rainbows leading to the pots of gold. While I need to confirm this myself, you can apparently look up in the sky, and if you see a rainbow, follow the bow to where it's 'pointing'. Have fun! Via the FG App

Battle(Non)Sense is an excellent YouTube channel, nice find. I've learned a lot from watching his vids. The Escape from Tarkov one was hilarious, and thankfully they have resolved most of their issues with net code.

We were starting to see the differences like way back in D1 when power last mattered. It felt really good that now we have that extra dimension back in Iron Banner and the 7 weekly bounties give you good reason to keep playing. Even though it was funny that one of @Stretch616 Dawnblade strikes couldn't kill an enemy. On the flip side I could sustain a Shoulder Charge and stay alive. So much fun having a larger FG party. I'm feeling my Trust Hand Cannon works well atm but i seriously think theres some Year 1 guns that are still performing in the top 10 guns. I'm trying to use different stuff rather than do my usual go back to tried and tested but I suppose the raid pulse rifle was designed to be good. Gary, I may just get my Marine back out of the vault aswell.

Hello ladies and gents, my name is Cathalyte. I mean Oskari. I mean Odie. A long time ago I joined a clan called Blood for Blood that has now evolved to a community called Forever Gaming. To an adolescent studying english as a second language meant this was a great opportunity to develop and hone both written and spoken skills. Good old times, sessions of Black Ops 1 and Battlefield, lots of shenanigans and an equal amount of support and nice conversations with clan mates! Got an invite from brother across the pond to join FG on D2 (Hey Mike <3) Trying to make an active return to those times and having friends to grind on Destiny 2 and some banter along the way. So, a little bit about me. I'm a finnish dude, 26 years old. Graduated as a bachelor or sports last December and got a job as a lifeguard/ swimming instructor/ sports instructor right before graduating. I used to play Dota 2 over the years of studying and the first year ar work (over 5000 hours) but quite frankly, playing solo has become almost the same as trying to teach kindergartens to swim and that's not my cup of tea after a long day at work. I'm really looking forward to joining you on a Destiny 2 session and conversations on this forum. Really fun run on EP with @techno @Jason @Shucker @Bluebear @Amnotright and @Neochill. Frames lost for days on the boss 😃 Good news was that Shucks and Chris dropped the Shotgun, Nick dropped the SMG and Gary and I dropped the Sniper rifle. Not bad after c.10 rounds of the boss. It really is good chilled fun now, trying to work out how we can lose the most frames rather than extreme intensity. I also got lucky and dropped the new Titan Exotic gauntlets, Ursa Furiosa. Great laugh, hopefully we can get this going every so often to help people drop the weapons and armour for collections.

I won't lose my sleep over it 😄

Thanks for sharing Chad. [emoji106] Tbh Brede, whilst Telesto helped speed it up, that cheese really ruins the experience how it was made. Gambit update for first step is how I think they were supposed to release it. Good fix imo although a little later than needed.

This could be the end of BioWare. Good riddance to a once-fine developer. If this game doesn't flop itself; The Division 2 will kill it a month later.

Treyarch games have terrible netcode at the best of times but Blackout is certainly a sight to behold. I know they've copied everything from other games in BO4 but you wouldn't expect them to swipe the negative aspects that plague other games too! I guess players will be hoping for a HC Blackout playlist😎

Yeah, agreed. I've struggled for head space to look at this lately but as we've given some of those sections a fair crack its likely that we need to remove or demote some. I'll try to make time over tonight/tomorrow. Would be good to know if there are other candidates to have sections of their own.

It's an amazing PvP game, haven't played more than 10 minutes of PvE.

I played a couple matches of gambit yesterday and other then myself, no one was using the sleeper. Yea, it sucks getting shredded by it but I expect that from an exotic. I’ll still drop an “F-ing Sleeper!” And carry on. Maybe be a few more F bombs though.

I guess I should continue my quest to get one then

The 'Feature Games' section needs an overhaul

I saw a Ruts covers band once upon a time, from Finland. They were excellent. Rude Boy I think they were called. Welcome.

The big fear was they would nerf it so it became less good in PvE. Instead they’ve given it a tweak which will hopefully reduce 5he issue in Gambit. Feels like a good move to me, not over the top, quickly identified and dealt with.

Last night was the first time I played gambit so I haven’t seen first hand how prevelant it is. I agree that exotics, all exotics, should be in their own way overpowered. Though I think they should only feel overpowered in their own weapon type / class. The issue seems that the Sleeper has crossed over in to D1 Jellyhorn territory and it isn’t just OP for that weapon type, it is OP even against other exotics.

I already have this and would be good to revisit it. I am struggling to play anything else atm with Destiny happening with so many of us. May be worth planning a night in so I can get it updated and get a few hours in on it with some of you. Is there any DLC I have to be aware of?

Do the bounties from Petra that give you powerful gear. They increase your power more than other activities.

Yeah mine has opening shot and rapid hit. Opening shot isn’t bad but not a great roll by no means. I want a good roll because that thing is a PvP monster

I picked Wildlands up the other day and it’s back on sale in the PS store, around £16. Crispy and I will probably be playing this later on this eve, if a couple of other peeps are interested in joining? Had really good fun with the demo and I can only see that continuing. I was looking to pick this up on the pc but I’m too scared to use my laptop at the moment, really need to get the screen fixed.

Really liked the expansion. I don't know whether I should ask this here or somewhere else so mods feel free to guide me. Since I reached thr Dreaming City I have felt super confused where to continue the grind to up my power lvl or where to find more powerful gear. Like I feel that my power lvl isn't high enough to go to the blind well or join the end game activities. One could also say I'm stuck. Any advice what should I look into? Via the FG App

Thats a good point tbh Dave. If I can understand the right time to put on there, we can put another time that would help the NA side. Americans/Canadians, which timezone is best to quote to with the UK time? I'll do it for the next one, cheers Dave 👍 They're all on the calendar now anyway so when you look it automatically knows what timezone you are in and show them in your time.

Played some PUBG last night as everyone was depressed about the beta ending. We played maybe 4 or 5 games, and I'm pretty sure PUBG is done-zo for us. I still enjoy it, but my squad mates have had enough and I don't think we'll touch PUBG again once Blackout releases. They played probably 10x more during the beta than I did so I'm just going to take their word for it. I had too much going on this weekend and barely got comfortable with the inventory system before it ended. Don't know jack about any of the guns which was frustrating but I'll figure it out quickly enough Overall, if a bunch of die hard PUBG guys are all bailing for this game it says something positive.

So I don't feel confident healing dungeons my lvl, so started doing the first couple of dungeons to heal and get a feel for it. Going to continue moving up the dungeon levels to try improve until I reach a point where I struggle or make us wipe.
