We have a new feature which is FGer of the Month! And the great thing is all of you guys get to suggest one each month so we can take into account what everybody thinks! You'll find the nomination button on the right hand side of the FG website or scroll down on mobile browser. I've decided for at least one year too, each FGer of the month will receive a £5 game voucher. Obviously if we keep getting you generous guys giving towards the FGFG Fund then we'll continue to do these features as its another way of giving back to you guys a little something which is what we're all about. I really hope you all can get behind this new feature - keep giving feedback as much as you can so we know these are things you'd like to see around the place. Not sure if there's many on this forum looking at Fallout 76 but for me, it;s the only AAA game I'm really looking forward to this year and I just received a message from Vault-Tec "You have successfully redeemed your B.E.T.A. (Break-it Early Test Application) registration code. Additional instructions will be sent to your registered Bethesda.net email address when the B.E.T.A. program is ready to begin." Bethesda has it's own launcher now for PC, I never knew. Beta is in October.

Yup people are quick to blame Activision but you have to blame the consumer, loot boxes and all.

Great to see this type of thing happen. A new mission that links together two different games is something that definitely gets my eyes looking at it. I may make sure its updated tonight. Its out July 24 and it is the 2nd free mission update out of 4 planned for Ghost Wildlands.

My primary character is a thin skinned hunter who’s most endearing attribute is his jumping ability which is handy given the (lack of) ability of his operator!! 😂😂

Must say that I'm really looking forward to this. I've always struggled with Fallout games before as multiplayer games took my attention away from what was a very good single player game. So with the mix on offer here it seems spot on. I've watched a few vids and I really love the lore and effort that they're putting into this new world. This could well be the first bonafide MMORPGFPS/3PS. There's been a few attempts before but they've never quite got the RPG bit right. Plus recent problems on end game content with games like Destiny and The Division will only serve a good experience for the Bethesda team to learn from Time to see if there's a ps4 beta I can sign up for!!

I like the patch for the healing changes. Should make it so that the healers are all doing a similar amount of HPS whether that be done in burst fashion on a single target or steady across multiple. Should make for interesting team comps I reckon, if nothing else it makes Lucio a lot more viable of a pick

I'll be doing my weeklies leading up to DLC Launch. I would like to know of the people that are going to play regularly, what classes will you be playing as? where do we have holes that we will need filled. I have all 3 classes but not all 3 are up to par.

Welcome aboard. Although we may have abandon you at 10:30 we are a diverse group and there are always people on on various games and platforms.

Good to see you on here Kempy. I'll be seeing you on from time to time, I'm trying to be on destiny more often with Forsaken coming out.

I have made some before for various work functions, non FG but my only experience has been with IMovie. Your beginning intro bits are the impressive part. If I can get a copy of the FG intro video I can tack some together here and there in the interim. Also is there another, affordable, program I could use?

I said I'd start doing vids at some point so I suppose I should get my arse in gear. It would help if I knew about any particular game folk want to see, or would watch. I thought maybe I could make vids to begin with, of games forumers don't play but would be interested to find out more. Forumers also need to make an effort and watch the content. To that end, I'll start with the games I play most and then games based on feedback. No feedback means no vids. I'll most likely look at the following games for my first vid (but if you have a request, let me know): Hunt: Showdown Arma 3 DayZ Escape From Tarkov Star Citizen I also thought that - as well as doing solo vids - we could do co-ops. Watching some of @Diddums old vids, for example he'd be an excellent partner for anyone. Or the time I played Sea of Thieves with Lee, Lee would be another excellent person to co-op with. Rich and I are playing Raft at the moment, plus Borderlands 2 (which I'm streaming on Twitch) and we'll do something with that footage too.

Usually there's a back story as to (a) how and who you are in the post apocalypse wasteland and some kind of reason to go out explore the world. In past games they have used vehicles for this such as looking for your father, or looking for your son. it's all RPG, collecting stuff, levelling up skills etc. Plus lots of combat. The most recent Fallout introduced base building. This new one moves from single player to multiplayer. Which is a massive thing for Fallout fans as many don't seem too happy about it. I'm a bit tired of people whinging already. These people need to get a grip. It's a game trying something new. Luddites be Luddites I suppose. Base building will be a big feature of 76 too and I hope they've done a better job than they did Fallout 4. For me, it's all about how well the game is optimised. If it's buggy and has poor network code, that will be bad, and they will suffer the consequences. Too little information right now to form a decent opinion but I'm in the glass half full camp personally.

Hey bud thanks for running this. Only idea I can think of to reduce the admin burden on yourself would be to use the proper site (eg like the fantasy premier league one) as you can set up leagues and that tracks the scores of course. However what I did like about your one is that you could just leave it and not have to worry about transfers etc so there was a bit of tactics in picking players you thought would go far in the tourney. The “downside” of the proper site is that some people will regularly check it and make transfers etc and some will Just forget and or leave it, so you’d maybe have to set a gentlemen’s agreement and trust that no one can make any transfers?

I'm going to suggest I put in a number of raids planned in on the Calendar as there's quite a few people want to do them. Equally, theres more experienced ones that want Spire of Stars and Prestige Leviathan. What I do need though is support from the more experienced guys out there to help out multiple times to get some people through. I hope that works for everyone - it's something that I've said before we should be doing and it feel great when we get another one through it.

Had you thought of charging your phones using an in-car charger on the way there then leaving them locked in the car for the two days? Have a detox and chill out with a book or something in the evening. Relax and enjoy! 😊

Sadly not a new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game (though I believe one is in the works). This is a relatively recent mod overhaul (September 2017) and though it plays outside of Steam, it requires the Call of Pripyat base game installed on Steam. I watched a YouTube vid at the weekend which put me in the mood to try this mod, plus a few others I found on Moddb https://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl Here's the vid that got me going:

The proposed changes between all the healers look good and it seems to level the playing field a bit more between them all now. Zen still out in the cold now for healing and given the big changes recently to Anna, I reckon we'll start to see a lot more of her played. Also, I kinda like the change to the Zarya ult. Having more uptime on the ultimate and contribute more to the team fight by having extra energy is a better option for me than a larger radius on the ult. I'm sure not everyone sees it that way but we have to remember the level of game that we play. The pro and master people who define what meta is are just so far above us in skill so the game dynamic is totally different

Good idea for a topic Chris. I think we also need to help as many people get to 385 as we can. As the first DLC is a must, I'm not 100% certain you can play Forsaken without doing the main campaign and dlc stories. Plus in Gambit, your power will matter against PvE parts, not the PvP enemies. Also, when Iron Banner and Trials come back post Forsaken release power will matter for the first time since Destiny 1. I doubt it now Dave. They're pretty set on Tokens and it is the unified, easier to understand, approach. Yeah, you were good at that! I did it a little at the first DLC but tbh I want this Forsaken update to last. I think it will do, more than any other DLC but I don't want to fully overdo my preparation. I've got a ton of shards now and I've still got a number of initial missions to do, like and Rat King. I'd also think about hording Bright Dust - get through your shaders you don't want and pile up the dust. There's going to be some decent cosmetic stuff on Day 1 that people will want too.
