  1. It sounds like a good idea getting PC guys together I only have 7 days, Minecraft and Stellaris but could branch out to other games. My not so great PC spec rules me out of some games but there is always the itch for an upgrade or 2

  3. Dying Light: Bad Blood is a new standalone online title set in the universe of the 2015 game. The concept is simple: six players are dropped across a large, open map with the goal of harvesting and looting enough blood packets to trade in for a helicopter ride out of the infected zone. The catch? There's only room for one. Game Informer Link The primary way to obtain blood packets is by killing zombies. Nests are located all over the city, and since you're racing against other players to get to the chopper with enough blood, you want to make a beeline toward the high concentration areas. Unfortunately, when you're dropped in, it's with nothing but the clothes on your back. Thankfully, the looting and crafting aspects of the original game are fully intact; you're not going to get far without a competent weapon, and weapon mods definitely help. Once you get enough blood, you level up, increasing your damage and health. To have enough to trade in for a helicopter evac, you need to max out to level five. It doesn't take long; each of my matches lasted ten minutes or less. After acquiring enough blood, you must make your way to the evac point and hold it for 30 seconds as the other players are notified of your near-victory state. This leads to tense battles that put most zombie swarms to shame as the remaining survivors descend upon the point for a winner-take-all slugfest that could see any of the players emerge victoriously. _________________________________________________________ This looks and sounds really cool. The original game was extremely well made which makes you hope they can pull off the PvP side of things. Sounds a little like The Division Dead Zone and where you have to loot blood instead of items and then get to the extraction point. Hoping the 6 player action can have some form of teaming up on it.

  4. To me it’s a lesson in waiting until a Bungie title has been out for a year before purchasing it.

  5. Mine updated yesterday, essentially it's a reinstall. I realise i need to set my Win 10 app settings to not automatically update as though the update requires 20gb it seems to need double that during the reinstall. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

  6. Due for today. Full game update (Wowsers) so 20 GB for PC, 10 GB for Xbox One and 19 GB for Xbox One X. Fixed Issues - Players who have redeemed their Black Dog Pack pre-order code will now correctly see these items in their in-game chests. Not received your code? Check your Xbox Live messages over the next couple of days. - Characters should no longer lose details such as hair colour and scars. - When digging up a chest, there is no longer a chance that it will be impossible to pick up - Players should no longer intermittently be missing items and weapons when loading into the game - Weapon, clothing and ship cosmetic changes made after migrating server will now persist across sessions - Players will now correctly see other players titles - Snakes will now behave correctly, turning to face the player when agitated - Animal and skeleton movement around slopes has been improved - The game will no longer enter an unresponsive state after accepting a game invitation whilst matchmaking - Merchant Alliance notifications for handing in various items have been corrected - Lighting has been tweaked in order to improve performance on multiple islands and outposts - Fixed tinnitus sound which persists after being killed by multiple explosive barrels. - Seagulls now fly over floating barrels. - Players can no longer be held by a seemingly invisible Kraken tentacle. - Fixed a range of potential game crashes. Performance Improvements - Significant performance optimisations across all platforms, specifically targeting the 4K native resolution of Xbox One X. - Drastically reduced the likelihood of tearing when using the small ship. - Reduced the likelihood of tearing when inside the Taverns. - Sizeable framerate improvements when traversing large islands. - Reduced likelihood of framerate hitches when navigating outposts. - Optimised Foliage for smoother experience in overgrown jungle areas. - Further improvements and optimisations for all platforms are ongoing. Known Issues - Player gold and reputation can be delayed when cashing in a reward. - Player achievements can be delayed. - Bounty quest skeletons sometimes do not spawn or cannot be found. If you encounter this bug, a potential work around is to sail away from the island until it’s out of range, and then sail back in to trigger the Island Name banners. - Joining a player whose ship is parked at an active skeleton fort will prevent the joining player’s radial menus being opened. - Rare Lore Items throughout the world will read in English, regardless of current language settings. - "Hunter of Cursed Crews", Commendation is not updating. - Players may become comically smaller after fighting the Kraken.

  7. D2 undid a lot of the good work Bungie put in to turning day 1 D1 from an alright game in to a good one. However they did it once they can do it again, I'm not getting my hopes up or expecting these updates / DLC to turn it around but I do think it worth keeping an eye on in case they do. Especially as I've already bought the DLC so I might as well see what I bought This "update" might only be adding some of the things back from D1 but it shows Bungie are trying to listen to fans and improve the game. Will this bring me back? probably not as from what little I've seen of this it seems aimed more at the PvP side of things. I played some PvP in D1 but Destiny was always about the PvE side of things for me so I'm waiting for QoL improvements / more content to bring me back. I do hope they can save Destiny 2 though as I don't think there has been any other game on PS4 to bring everyone together like D1 did.

  8. Yep, totally agree, I didn't realise how highly this game was anticipated but yeah like Lee says, it's a blast for a couple of hours with mates, I expect more to do for 50 quid, long term.

  9. I just about manage to get an 'average' of 30 frames, and most of the community are getting about the same. The quarterly update is being tested in the PTU by players at the moment and I'm hearing good things. I'd expect it to hit on Saturday but let's see. I'm always available, next you're on, or going on, gimme a shout and I'll join you. You are there for me if I need and that's goes vice versa innit. I've added both Diddums and Lee as contacts in-game, so let's get on and see how we go The pain in the arse about crashing your ship, is that although insurance is in game, you have to wait around a bit for a new one. Bureaucracy space age style

  10. Sounds like they removed everything from D1 and are slowly putting it back into D2 and calling it an update. I know we'd like it to be good again etc but I just can't see it reaching anywhere near how it used to be, bungie seem to be beyond incompetent.

  11. I didn't spend £1400 on a new PC just to play a game that I run on my iPhone when I'm on the toilet
