Fair play everyone for staying and nailing it, even if my eyes feel like death this morning 😅 Everytime we got close something silly happened which was to be expected. For our first run with virtually everyone on zero clears was decent to get it finally nailed. The more we do it i'm pretty confident it will be a defo sub 2-hours for most people here. Even if it isn't though, its worth doing as I really like the mechanics. @Bluebear , we gotta get you there mate! Anyone else been getting on okay? Any Lost Sectors, Dungeons or other raids done with FG this week?

Its an ace find...something that I would love if it happened to me! However, I can't help but feel like if he really loved it, he would rip off those wrappers and actually play the games!! I don't care how much they're worth, would be incredible to have a go on most of those games in this day and age. Quality was top notch in that era.

Welcome to FG @Allthe4s44 ! Take a look around, lots of people like you that are juggling the woes of kids and gaming time at the same time. I just converted mine to do the same thing which felt the easiest thing to do 😅 As Paul above says, many of us play and dip in and out of D2. Do you mainly play on PlayStation or are you PC, Xbox, etc? And its all good with us if you don't play many games, we're still around here to have a laugh about all sorts of things - gaming and everything else. Anyways, hope you enjoy your stay 😄

Most places these days have a 'pass' for this kind of message due to so many developers not being able to accurately predict when they are ready. Always seems the right thing to do, to have a more finished product out there. Although, it does make you slightly concerned as not all delayed releases still launch well *cough Anthem cough* 😄Fingers crossed they can use the time to launch really well.

Yeah, I felt bad that I let the team down a little as whilst the symbols are hard, I had them down. Just silly mistakes e.g. forgetting one or more so not being quick enough to shoot them. I can't stress how we'll probably need calm and quiet comms though. Thats what will get us through because its so easy to forget a symbol, especially when you're looking for them on the obelisk and you need to call someone to help shoot them. Luckily now after hours of practice i'm sure it will be a cakewalk next time out cos its just getting used to the callouts. 😅 Apart from the one time I called out Green Circle when it was a triangle which left Carl confused AF. That was an epic fail on any level 🤣 Definitely not going to feel bad about the time though. This is a slightly more co-ordinated raid than something like DSC and VoG is. The first FG clear took over 6 hours too so it'll take a few weeks to bring the times down. Nice to see so many people try it early in week 1 though. Love that attitude regardless of how many times we may fail 👍

Good start last night with a team of FGers that haven't experienced the Caretaker phase on VotD Raid. Consistency is key and finding all the symbols and remembering them can take a bit of time 😅 The feelings of the whole team after finishing first and second sections was a great feeling to hear. Everyone was so happy just getting a part done and it didn't matter it was only half the raid. Only disappointment is the 2nd part softcover on us as we finished it about 90 mins before we got off so essentially it felt like Caretaker practice! Whilst it will feel like a steep early learning curve, I'd personally try and turn the assists off. I stuck mine immediately on expert because I do think its more about learning the tracks more as @phil bottle said. Finding the braking points and good racing lines that work for you. Sometimes the aids will hold you back and if you have them on for a long time, it becomes a struggle to readjust imo. Good to know about PP tuning. You'll have to share which mod it is so we know which one to always buy for all the cars. Yeah, that will be the biggie for us all. I'm not used to it at all and not a petrol head either so alot of the tuning goes over my head. However, thats what our chats are for on here and I think we can help each other by sharing what people have found that works well and not so well when they test each tuning feature out. I've not come across it yet where the tuning is needed to worry me. I imagine a few more weeks into it and we'll learn that only 3 or 4 make a significant difference to your own driving. I believe there is, but you set it in your own lobby before its created. However, in GT Sport it was always an option so you didn't have to have it on for online races if you didn't want to.

Great work FG! Nice to see the first FG clear of the new raid, also ace to Kempy the sleepy destroyer in there too 🤣I think as we have more tries at this one with contest mode gone, we should be able to nail the mechanics a little easier without dying too much. Although, it does look like lots of symbols and relics to understand! 😅 There's a run tonight so I'm excited to try again and get abit further this time round.

It is definitely fully fleshed out thats for sure. You don't actually unlock the Multiplayer until you finish Menu Book 9, which I think looking back is a good thing. Usually if you just pick up the game people don't fully understand everything that's going on, so this early learning as the game flows you about everywhere is really helpful - and it means you have a good bunch of cars to start your collection too. Looking forward to going back on soke licences and circuit experiences to see where I land in the FG pack as I've usually just tried to get gold and then move on so far! Oh, and it definitely feels more challenging to drive the cars. Haptic feedback on a PS5 controller may have something to do with that.

I'm loving this so far after a few episodes. Love the deadpan nature of it and I think the main actor plays Reacher really well so far.

What I think is fantastic news is that still playing GT7 on a PS4 Pro or even a standard PS4, it looks incredible still. Ray Tracing seems the way to go on a PS5 because when you are racing everything is locked at 60FPS anyway, its just the replays that are impacted and really worthwhile too, after watching the video below. The loading times are scarily quick on PS5 but I hope that if this seems the only huge difference between a PS4 and a PS5 version, then most here that are still on a PS4 shouldn't be put off by buying the PS4 version of the game.

My copy should come tomorrow from Amazon. Bear in mind its probably useful for the first few weeks to get used to the game and progress some story/campaign features. Super GT explains in that video it may take a few hours to unlock the Multiplayer side of things.
