  1. 100% YES. Hayley and I watched it live as we love the Darts and it was insanity unfolding before your eyes. Will already take some beating as the top sporting moment of 2023, 3 days in. He fully deserved to win, Michael 'Bully' Smith. Everyone thought it was MVGs until he really stepped up and took every opportunity that he got against him. As to an FG Darts night, hell yeah! Flight Club is actually a fun place to get together and grab a lane for some of us. A few drinks and some games really end in a quality night.
  2. Well spotted @J4MES OX4D ! Whilst @Diddums suggestion is a fantastic idea, its the New Year and after a forced break of being able to see what changes we can make, I'm finally getting round to looking at all of this. A few views may subtlety change over the next few days until we find something good that works moving forward. We may streamline a couple of pots but also open to whatever we think we're missing to get it added whilst the FG Website is in the Garage 😁
  3. until

Yep, a great first Monday Night Football on FIFA 23 with FGFC. Here's hoping we can have some more great nights ahead with many more FGers too.
  4. I always wondered what could be done with some additional video editing time to my hands, not sure if you feel the same? So many clips we take and we could make so many awesome montages, but in the past its only ever been @Greboth and @tronic44 having the capability and time to do them based on their knowledge. I also think there could be some time invested in some graphic apps too. Especially the ones that make Vectors and other ones that make svgs. Inkscape is the one I'd want to get more of an understanding on as its 1, free, but 2, you can create some great things within it for lots of things out there. Last thought would be is there anything that your hobbies connect to at all that you can see something you want to creatively do in it? Might help narrow down some other apps perhaps.
    Truly awesome streak Pat!
  5. I bought my first Megaman game for the Gamecube last year (yep 2022 😉) so its never ben on my radar from when i was a kid. The only Megaman person I know here so far is Chad @Riff Machine so I usually take my Megaman advice from him. The Collection sounds cool though, something to maybe dip into if there is enough good releases in there to warrant its price.
  6. How are you getting on with this @Macca89 ? It may help to understand what you're trying to specifically create and there may be other things out there. I have found Canva is ridiculously string at creating stuff, you just need your own idea on what you want to do but there are tons of templates - and the best part is that its free to use. It has a pro version that looks like it could give you more templates for videos and tope end stuff but if i'm honest i've never had the urge to use any of them as there's so much that its free.
  7. It was a great World Cup footballing wise I have to say. So many upsets and teams pushing other teams all the way. I don't think the final was the greatest for me but can't deny it was a cracking finish. I actually wasn't really watching it properly as it was boring as hell until 80 mins 😅 Thought the ref did a good job too in the final, handled the rolling about in the right way and caught that late dive from the French player super quickly too. I cant wait to get back to a summer World Cup now though. It really did mess up our schedule and kind of put our thoughts for Christmas in abit of a spin too, can't have that again!
  8. Changed the sport to what we know today. I heard something the other day that I totally thought was spot on. It talked about how he elevated specifically the World Cup into more countries and homes across the world due to his amazing ability, skills and success. To perform on that scale the way he did really did ensure Football is the top global sport across the world. Rest in Peace GOAT.
  9. Awww man. That sucks. Still usable, but not as appealing as first shown. I've got so used to wireless controllers even though they probably don't really need to be given how far I am away from the consoles.
  10. For me, VR just doesn't suit me. For some reason I feel like its extremely gimmicky for the price tag and the games you get with it just don't do much after the first 5 minutes of that 'wow' factor. Reminds me when 3D came out at the cinema. Great concept but never flies because everything is lost in the sub par graphics and basic movements you can only get with VR sticks. I'm hopeful for PSVR2 though - more for my son who loves it. I personally think it hits a great spot for people with sensory needs. It can send feelings that their brain can feel extremely stimulated from. AR is the thing that people have been saying for 4-5 years will be the dealbreaker. Remains to be seen clearly still, but I was definitely more blown away by the Magic Leap that Rich @tronic44 worked with than the PSVR. Based on what people above like from VR, I think the games you enjoy are also a telling factor as to whether or not you'll get on with it yourself.
  11. First time I've bought a battle pass on a CoD game. The season has been pretty decent tbh. Some blueprints are quite nice to use and Shoot House revamped map plays really well. DMZ being released in this season with a potential 'Raid' to do too is a great addition to the game. Overall, I can't fault it much at all.
  12. Not yet but part of me believes I will. I have Crisis Core for the PSP which is a fantastic game on that device. If its been enhanced then it feels like its worth a go...although I'd rather get a physical version if they do create them at some point in the future as I assume its digital only for now? You completed already too @Luseth ??!
  13. Love this thread. Early days I actually felt like the Sega 6 button controllers were incredible. Sega Saturn had it spot on, whilst my only 3rd party controllers I ever really got on with, was for my Mega Drive. Hate to admit it but the SNES controllers were unbelievably class, so lightweight you don't realise until using controllers in today's world and then go back to them. Outside of these in later generations I was one of the very few who absolutely LOVED the old huge Xbox controller with the additional white and black button. For some reason it worked so well for Halo. The smaller versions they made afterwards were also incredibly satisfying to hold. The Gamecube was also one of my favourites, however the yellow right analogue stick, if you can call it that, was abysmal. I loved it had this weird extra button on the top which was the Z button. The new PS5 controller is probably something I should add because of the haptic feedback concept. Feels amazing on certain games. On the flipside, it probably didn't help that I never grew up with one but that N64 controller can stay in those golden ages. Anytime I've tried to go back and play an N64 game its a nightmare. So strange but get that some will love it like i loved the OG huge xbox one on my own 😅
  14. Let us know how it feels @phil bottle. I plan to work a night in January so I can feel how it all works. I'll let you know when i'm likely to get on 👍
  15. Yeah, thats how i see them getting done Matt. I was referring to standard MP maps just don't work for longshots.
  16. HARD agree with this. Maps work really well for most games and objectives you play for apart from the one Longshot objective. Very rarely get any.
  17. I'm glad it feels okay to you. I play a few games whilst waiting to see who comes into the party and they aren't that bad either. However, I don't think I could play on my own all the time on there. The ability to chat to teammates (especially FGers) that want to help take down UAVs, VTOLs together ASAP, even if they won't get spotted is a general pleasing feeling. As soon as everyone works out K/D means shit the game plays far better. The only stat I enjoy progressing is my and everyone elses W/L ratio.
  18. Thanks for sharing @slamminbones . Jedi Fallen Order should be one for you all to pick up. My son had it and it was a very well made campaign. Good combat too. Funny how we've been talking about Fallout 76 as well recently. Add it to the library. You never know if we might get a server in the future.
  19. You know me and emulators 😅 You can do what you want with it buddy, personally i'd be testing it out with proper PC games rather than emulated games as theres so many cheaper devices out there that can do that for you without the need to use a powerful piece of kit like this.
  20. Great find @J4MES OX4D . I didn't play as much as I would've hoped on my PC this year. Most of it came in the first quarter and across 7 Days, DayZ and a little on Valheim. Hoping to play much more across the year in 2023. I can't seem to get the total hours played unless someone can see it anywhere?
  21. Die Hard 1 Die Hard 2 Died Hard with a Vengeance Die Hard 4.0 Cos it was Christmas 😄 Only second time i've watched 4.0 and held up pretty well. All the films are such a good and easy watch for everyone.
  22. Made huge waves in cultural English life for millions via their music. Such a real shame to lose him too soon. 🖤🤍
  23. I do like the new Peugeot designs @MrBiron , the front is a nice sleek design on the Lion concept they follow. Wife won't touch Peugeot again though due to her past experiences with reliability and upkeep cost.
  24. Ace that you're getting one mate!....although I think you should keep it just to play your amazing PC games rather than emulate the shit out of old games. 😎
