  1. Yeah, I got it with the last bit of birthday money This was on my list of must buys so now I have it I really want to work out what you've asked. I'm pretty sure you can leave it and come back to it. Not sure if its on local server or not? Really hope we can get some games on this and squad up.
  2. Actual games. The releases this year for xbox one look really depressing apart from Sea of Thieves but that's on PC too anyway. Nintendo Switch releases look fairly quiet but after the Labo has had a few promoted months you have Smash Bros and all new Toad and Yoshi games (I think Metroid Prime is 2019 though). In between those is quite a few ports which i think is promising for the future.
  3. I can't wait to try this out, even more so of us get it. The cdkeys offer is fantastic. A mate at work I'm trying to get involved has it and the recent free 2.0 update has overhauled the game and effectively made it brand new again. Got to commend a developer to support in this way. Makes me already considering the DLC because of that.
  4. I agree with what you're saying here. The timing of the release of Labo is why though they seem to be onto a winner. The game release schedule looks quiet for Q2 and Q3 (unless Smash Bros is then but I'm thinking October) so if a family buy just one variety pack that is pretty much equivalent of buying 2 AAA games. It keeps revenue going and back to the original story I just don't see what Microsoft can release in the same period to compare with them.
  5. I didn't think of that tbh so valid point. Thinking quickly about it though I'm not quite sure it would matter as don't believe there was much quality created for the Wii. I have a ton of games for mine but I didn't play them at all. Totally understand why both of you would say that. I just personally look at most gimmicks and then look at the typical family household and think that is an extremely good and unique idea. I know other families with them are already looking at the variety pack for their kids. Adults wise though, yeah, I agree.
  6. I can understand that there's still not quite the right quantity of games for the Switch just yet but to most of the population would still have plenty of gameplay in those games you've completed (i haven't got cloae to finishing Zelda and don't own Odyssey yet). That said, it's unknown if the new Nintendo Labo stuff that looks crazy and amazing will fill the void for some of this year whilst we wait for further titles to come out. I'm with the words of James' when he says promising start. For once in my life I'm wanting a Nintendo product to push on and be really successful. Via the FG App
  7. Great to hear Kev! It does look like a decent game to join up on. Oh, Phil - was around to play last night but I think you got caught up in a raid on Tarkov. My demo loaded and then crashed a few times so I didn't get much chance to try it out.
  8. I'm kinda warming to him tbh Yeah...there is that. I need to draw a plan of what house I want rather than just build it any old way.
  9. Analysts have predicted by the end of the year that Switch will have outdone Xbox sales. Whilst never being a major Nintendo fan, after seeing it in action and then buying one, I have to admit I am in awe of how they've cleverly hit the handheld and console market so successfully with the Switch. The worry was always about the games, however whilst we still wait for more 3rd parties to create remasters and more games for it, the current selection of Switch games are all up in the 8/9/10 out of 10 games available. Microsoft just can't compete with just Halo being there only successful major exclusive product (imo). Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8, Zelda, Splatoon 2 and now Smash Bros. The port L.A. Noire looks impressive and bespokely made for their controls too. The one true gap for them really destroying the market is the community and friends capability. It's an extremely poor experience and one which you'd think they'd at least have a basic infrastructure built by now. Here's hoping they really invest in this to allow it to compete against all consoles side by side. Really impressive comeback after the Wii U.
  10. It's happening and it's in 2018. Such a great addition to the Switch that is fast becoming more of a major console player than most first thought. Here's hoping we'll see a few new characters along the way and maybe a few different game modes would be nice too. Miss playing the Target Smash mode, loved completing each characters level.
  11. After trying it again last night with @Amnotright, @Misneach_ and new guy James, it didn't feel a different experience to normal squad play if I'm honest. We went to a completely separate place on the map to our squad and seen how other 16 people get wiped out whilst we carried on into the circle only to end up 1v7 from another squad.
  12. Looking forward to it Greebs, and thanks for getting rid of my man-made cobwebs on my build.
  13. I'm weirdly looking forward to it to. Black Ops 3 was one of the first CoDs I got to experience with most FG veterans and I thoroughly enjoyed the movement system and wall running. I didn't think it was over the top and it had pretty decent maps so if Treyarch don't deviate from what they know their playerbase wants from their games this really could be a great one to look forward to as a community.
  14. Nice! Let us know if you're around tonight. I'll probably fire up the PC if the wife doesn't want to do anything.
  15. I did enjoy Oblivion so this does interest me somewhat. I probably need to search some gameplay.
  16. For you maybe. You need to go out more, get some fresh air, experience different game modes...
  17. Any kill counts as bragging 😂
  18. It's sort of gone under the radar on release tbh. It seems to have decent scores on metacritic so far though and it sounds like pure medievil without the magic. @J4MES OX4D, what similarities does it have with Elder Scrolls Oblivion?
  19. Ubisoft learned how to create this into a solid enjoyable game after 2 years. Whilst not perfect, if it was like it was at the start they would be having a pretty big following. If they needed any more incentives, I think it's pretty easy to look across to Bungie and take the learns from how they implemented Destiny 2 and starve the payer base after having a decent grindy original.
  20. Next Limited Time Event (LTE) is the 20 Player Squad mode with 5 squads in total. Obviously it's on the same lines as the 50v50 game mode but probably a little more co-ordinated. Tried a quick PC game on it and whilst the whole squad can be co-ordinated on the map, it's still quite clusterfucky with many other squad randoms usually ending up where your squad is. This seems more of a fun mode for a few tries rather than a mode you would rinse and repeat each day. Let us know how you get on with this mode.
  21. I'm with that last line mate. I think for me you need to give constructive criticism rather than just say its another shit Battlefield/CoD game otherwise its just as you say - a personal preference that doesn't help others wanting to understand if its good or not. All for calling a game crap and talking about it if there is substance to it.
  22. Nice one Richyboi! We probably need to give everyone a kick up the arse tbh so they start sorting out what you need.
  23. That's a great addition. I really like how it's being shared too. I suppose my only thought is how long something like this could take. They seem to have the fundamentals all there but now to flesh out and add the actual content could take some serious time. Equally wouldn't be great if they could add some voice overs as well as the subtitles?
  24. What's your favourite weapons to use so far? Clearly we all want at least a purple Scar but if not, then I usually enjoy the following: - Blue Burst Assault Rifle - Purple SMG - Purple Silenced Pistol - Gold Minigun The blue burst AR can wreck from a distance very quickly and really worth a try over normal firing ARs. The rate of fire is better than I originally thought.
