Anyone up for trying the raid sometime soon i.e. this week or next week? I know it's been a rough ride but it's worth a go hopping back in readiness for May's updates. @Adolf Sheekster and @Synnith AKA Frank and Kirk have got some interest in doing it and I know many of us haven't run it much at all. Before we think of a day what's everyone's thoughts and availability? I'm pretty sure we can get 6 with 90 in the official FG clan.

Changed the name of thread to new name. Really positive move, Uprising comes back but with additional new content from the Archives. Looking forward to Wednesday!

I hear you. Some have said the only way to get the core back is random rolls, weapon slots plus a new raid to drop a the same time. This raid was fun but I personally think we didn't give it enough time because if I'm honest it was slightly harder than some D1 raids and we gave up too easily as a clan because we started to realise there wasn't much variety to do stuff inbetween raids. Problem with the lair add ons are that they don't have the rewards to bring you back. Equally there's no mystery to them as we all know they'll be on the big planet eating ship. They are making changes though, to the point of Nightfalls, as the timer has now gone, replaced with a challenge timer that you can ignore if you want to. I want a really good Prison of Elders with progression levels and valuable loot to grind it all day long.

@Diddums was talking me through his run at Tilted Towers and where certain chests spawn. It's not as bad people believe if you take time to know where you're going. He shown me a quick 2 minute run even out of trouble most of the time. What they need to understand is that sometimes things that are a little crazy and unbalanced keep the whole game balanced. If everything is consistent and boring the whole game becomes boring and dull.

So I can build a castle with a dick on it's top that looks like @Diddums but I can't shoot for shit with a sniper so I get shot by a grey AR from a distance...and that's a good thing?! 😂😂😂 Being a prick and trolling on GTA is great fun but that definitely doesn't bring the most wins on average.

Yeah, that's where I heard it again this morning when I watched it. However, my point that the big youtubers don't seem to be stating is about the content. The game will be very playable in May, especially with these additions however I'm worried about many people not getting excited about the activities on offer. Raids are one key issue. People who find it uninviting and boring won't care about the rewards. The only activity I feel that has matched if not bettered D1 is Iron Banner. Faction Wars needs a complete overhaul, which it should be now because it's gone away for a longer term to get reworked.

Over the last few days, a few interesting posts came up from Cozmo (Community Manager) and Chris Barrett. The pictures of both are below, and both indicate they are very aware of random rolls and weapon slots as the most requested change needed from the community. This isn't amy guarantee they will do it, or anything else on the list but for them to be quite open and say 'we need to give you an answer on these asap' seems promising. I am totally with these changes. There are other solutions but these are tried and tested so it's okay if they went back to it. My overriding concern with all of this that a lot don't talk about is the content. We need more than one new activity to grind and progress. If they do decide to bring one or both of these back, the community will immediately be saying 'that's great and all, but what do we play to get all this stuff.' Random rolls will bring back a massive desire to keep grinding loot, but they aren't mutually exclusive. To get said fabulous loot you need different things to do that sre interesting. I could go on about this but interested to hear what you guys think. Via the FG App

Really liked that Phil. New Order are one of the greats. I downloaded 100 80s Hits today for Hayley so will be sharing some of them as I go through them. Here's one that I actually seen live at the 80s night last year.

Asked Rich @tronic44 on his PPR about some intros and outros to use if I'm making videos so I think we should extend it out to everyone so you have some nice things to use on yours too. It's what we all used to have watching old vids back so let us know if this is a good idea! Please bear with Rich as he's manic busy most of the time but if you have ideas, like ones for specific games or transitions for people to use, let's hear it please! @tronic44, make sure you hook up with @Greboth so it isn't all on you, I know Greebs said he's ready and waiting but needs stuff to do!

No Phil, can't accept it's a building game. Yes, that puts it apart from PUBG but you don't need to build to win whilst I'll admit it significantly helps your defence play. It's more about co-ordinatated attacks that win games. @J4MES OX4D I personally think that it wins over PUBG purely over the fact its free and also available on PS4 as well as Xbox. One big thing I think the market is really wanting for some time is the ability to play with larger amount of people. Too many games are just 4 in a team max and that's not good enough when we've had larger groups on older consoles. Slight derail so I'll make a separate thread about this subject. Back to PUBG - I haven't turned it on for quite a while and the graphics really do make a difference for choosing PC over xbox unfortunately.

I think we were talking about making this our next meet up as the first time going was a great experience but we know what to expect now. We'll have to set something in for a date soon. Be also good if others that couldn't make it last time could find a suitable date to join us. -
I'll see if I can get on either tomorrow or Monday bud. Been wanting to try it to see if one of us can get the unique drop.

I think this should be a goer. Be good to still get some feedback on this though. Based on last night, FG GTA Fridays will be the first regular night. If anyone wants to help with graphics for singular nights, like Rob will help on the weekly /monthly view let me know as I want as many as involved as we can. -

Had a quick go with @Prodi-Cal_Son on Sniper shootout v2 after GTA night finished. We won it as well! Not sure I can see differences. There are Hunting Rifles and Snipers avaiable everywhere. I'd suggest you pick up 2 hunting rifles or bolt snipers so when you're in a fight you can alternate firing 2 bullets far quicker than waiting for reload to happen. Also, in a 1v1 close fight your pickaxe could probably be the best weapon. The last guy nearly took us both out with his whilst we're trying to hit a sniper shot from 1 yard.
