  2. I'll be honest. I disliked Fortnite a lot when it came out and naturally thought I would enjoy PUBG more for it's realism. However, PUBG seems to be missing vital 'fun' injected into it. I'd love to see stats that show how much you are running versus how many seconds you're in combat. I don't believe there's any jumping issue in Fortnite. It's just like PUBG where lots jump around in a firefight. Whilst the building makes it stand out, I barely build and get on with the game fine. Being in a squad with FG and co-ordinating attacks depending on what weapons and location you are is a really good feeling. The graphics are pretty amazing too now its at 60fps.
  3. Another awesome night on GTA races. I don't think there's another fitting game to play on a Friday night with a few beers and all of your company. First time for a while I won a few races, whilst Cal won quite a few too. In fact, everyone pretty much won. Apart from Didds. I think we successfully achieved our goal to smash him off at all costs so he remained Forever Second My eyes and belly still hurt after laughing some more. From now on I think we have to call it FG GTA Fridays. @Diddums @MrBiron @techno @Stretch616 @phil bottle @Greboth @Prodi-Cal_Son
  4. Tilted Towers is apparently going to be scrubbed off the map for good due to lots of the community disliking its inclusion since the big map update. I personally feel, if this is true, is a stupid decision. You have a choice where to go and if you don't like an area - don't go to it. I feel every now and again you can fly there for some Lolz because it's a clusterfuck but also it knocks a lot of players out, which has to be a good thing. I wonder if they'll leave something there as a tribute to the area or make something completely different.
  5. It was but apparently she appealed and it's took this long for it to come back to court for them to tell her to fuck off again.
  6. I worried for a moment that it was the exact same event (not all bad as it's the best one they've made) but then there's the new file uploaded at the end....YAY. I really hope for a different type of run of this version and if they make both available that would be amazing (doubt it but let's keep positive, hey). Hoping to pick up last years skins though finally on the cheap.
  7. It's essentially a time attack mode that could be quite difficult for casual players of the game. It's also in a brand new location and with brand new rewards. The quicker you are the better the rewards. There's a brand new enemy in it called Sgt. Deathrow. If you kill him you extra skill points too. Easter egg wise, a new community bounty is also live to celebrate the holiday weekend. In the Harran Egg Hunt, players will chase a “zombified Easter Bunny” and collect 25 Easter eggs to win the Cuck-a-Doodle-Do Easter outfit. I'm liking the continued support game developers are giving recently, nice one Techland. Anyone sparked with interest to play this of late?
  8. I think it will just live on PC like it was intended to but even then, the game has far too much running and not a lot happening for my liking. Fortnite seems to have got the size of the map right for 100 players. You played much of Fortnite?
  9. Lindsay Lohan appealed this decision - and she loses again. Nothing more than a cultural comment was the verdict. I have no clue why this was a big deal to her. It's not like there was massive news about this at the time.
  10. Yep they have. However, whilst there is pretty much no ultimate game meeting this void for the foreseeable future, we just gotta hope that by May/June this is a game worth dipping back into. I gotta keep the faith Tommy!
  11. It's called Go Faster because the main changes are to Supers that charge 25% faster and then when in your Super, Titan and Warlocks are faster - Warlocks Dawnblade is utterly ridiculous. You should notice slight differences still though in PvE, especially because many guns, like Pulse Rifles have been buffed considerably. Try Vigilance Wing. Also, the Dragonfly perks is much closer to the explosions on Firefly in D1. Hand Cannons are also worthy of trying out, although I probably won't join you on those because i'm more of a play and spray type of guy
  12. Seems too early to judge imo. At least they are re-using some decent game mechanics for other reasons rather than not trying at all. Providing it doesn't come out at full AAA price then it could be worth a stab.
  13. Didn't see the birthdays on that day...ah well, it might be late but...
  14. Happy birthday Tam!! 💙 @burnfitbillyboy
  15. Sniper shootout version 2? Anyone know what's the difference to the first version? The zoom feature is a great addition. Should be able to see how many houses are in a specific area before jumping in now.
  16. First up (shared on the FB too) is@stretch616 awesome ace montage. Enjoy! Via the FG App
  17. As it's Thursday I thought we could start an awesome weekly theme about some of your most memorable gaming moments. Whatever it is a story, a video, funny moments, awesome moments, let's hear them! I'll be looking to keep this up across our social media channels too, so if there's something on here that stands out we'll hopefully share it even further. Looking forward to reading/seeing what you've got!
  18. So you can control it?!
  19. I'm holding out for the PvE stuff too. I do believe they'll get there as to your point they will make changes to support the game. Its more a case of when is right to play it again. The Nighftall rewards seem a little short still. Great that its new content, but I'm confused that with a delay we still get 1 drop per Strike. I expected at least 2 but who's not to say they'll add more in May.

  21. They've also just been banned from this year's Indian Premier League. Lolz.
  22. 12 month ban from Cricket Australia for Captain Smith and Vice-Captain Warner. I think they'll struggle to play again for their country now. The world of abuse they're going to get from each game they play will be glorious.
  23. In the first patch, Rare mentioned they wpuld implement a Death Tax so there was repurcussions when you died you'd lose gold. This wasn't a great move and feedback was pretty damning, especially as you can get spawn trapped by griefing players. Good news is they reversed this decision so no impact on death. I'll grab the details of what they are expecting to fix and introduce.
  24. Let's use this thread for SoT updates to the game.
  25. Dying Light: Bad Blood is a new standalone online title set in the universe of the 2015 game. The concept is simple: six players are dropped across a large, open map with the goal of harvesting and looting enough blood packets to trade in for a helicopter ride out of the infected zone. The catch? There's only room for one. Game Informer Link The primary way to obtain blood packets is by killing zombies. Nests are located all over the city, and since you're racing against other players to get to the chopper with enough blood, you want to make a beeline toward the high concentration areas. Unfortunately, when you're dropped in, it's with nothing but the clothes on your back. Thankfully, the looting and crafting aspects of the original game are fully intact; you're not going to get far without a competent weapon, and weapon mods definitely help. Once you get enough blood, you level up, increasing your damage and health. To have enough to trade in for a helicopter evac, you need to max out to level five. It doesn't take long; each of my matches lasted ten minutes or less. After acquiring enough blood, you must make your way to the evac point and hold it for 30 seconds as the other players are notified of your near-victory state. This leads to tense battles that put most zombie swarms to shame as the remaining survivors descend upon the point for a winner-take-all slugfest that could see any of the players emerge victoriously. _________________________________________________________ This looks and sounds really cool. The original game was extremely well made which makes you hope they can pull off the PvP side of things. Sounds a little like The Division Dead Zone and where you have to loot blood instead of items and then get to the extraction point. Hoping the 6 player action can have some form of teaming up on it.
