    This is good to hear and the fact that he goes on to say its possibly the best PvE Shotgun is promising. I've banged on about the fireteam size for ages now and I do think its one of those that things that is holding other FGers back to the game. We really need to try and get 9 of us on the same EP though. That just sounds awesome.

    Everytime the time runs out on pretty much anything in Patrol it says 'Mission Complete'. You'd know if you cleared a wave as its on the left hand side of the screen when activated.

    Dropped my first Exotic Catalyst last night whilst doing a Public Event. It was for Tractor Cannon and funnily enough I didn't have it on my Guardian so clearly some can be done without the weapon equipped. Not checked it out yet but looking fotward to seeing what the next step is to unlock the Masterwork part. Anyone else had a Catalyst drop?

We can add in Target Practice, Parachute Cars, Rocket Powered Cars and Sand & Water Buggys if we need a change. Bring a beer or two!     I disagree. Each boss drops a specific item so you have to try and beat every boss each week. To get those though you need keys so you need to play at least 7 waves (doesn't matter if its 7 round 1 waves) and then get a key from Ana. If you don't get a key before you get to the boss and kill it you can't get the loot. The 3 EP weapons available from the chest are 5% random drop rates so RNG has to be on your side. You also have to do waves for certain quests such as Sleeper Simulant. I agree that the other EP weapons are available from wave 3, 5 and 7 (i think, not 100%) and drop at soft cap but still a worthwhile reward. If people aren't bothered about it, they're entitled to have their opinion. For me, if the gameplay is good and rewards seem decent which they are imo, then its good worthwhile content.

    Also just seen we can get a full 9 of us together in one Escalation Protocol!! You have to keep fast tracking but essentially its doable!! Anyonr up for trying this one day in the coming weeks??

    Tried this last night by accident on level 334. Couldn't get past first round 😛 Definitely need to get a full 3 fireteam on plus randoms which can mean you stack up to 9 people on an Escalation Protocol. 7 rounds of waves, then a boss. There are some mechanics along the way and the awesome D1 Crota Sword is awesome to get hold of. Thinking need to be 360ish to make it worthwhile trying. 370 are the opponents in most rounds and they have tweaked the final boss difficulty. We should definitely still try out rounds as for every round you complete you get a Rasputin Fragment. You need 7 of these to hand into Ana Bray to get a key. The key is needed on the final wave to open up the chest that has a unique reward each week. I believe its the Class Item this week, then armour rotates for the next 4 weeks. For an endgame activity it has improved from Court of Oryx and Archeons Forge.

    It's Thursday. So it's Throwback FG time again! A lot of FG people played the crap out of Destiny and here's a short clip on how the Templar Challenge run went at the end of a very long night on our last attempt. Credit to @Diddums, @crispymorgan, @Stretch616, @Greboth and@SensaiNemesis for nailing this before we lost the will to live! GGFG.

    Where y'all at? The update has landed better than expected. Gotta give it a chance with all the changes, especially with way better loot than previously available.

    Just a heads up. Worthwhile grabbing Treasure Maps from Cayde-6 again as Exotic drop rates have been impacted by recent changes and you have a greater chance to drop an Exotic engram from them. They'll also help you level up alongside the Weekly Milestones. This weeks maps are for Nessus.

    Vendor Progression hasn't been talked about but I do believe this is one of the most underrated changes we've had in this update. Most vendors now have a seasonal rank which you level up when you obtain a package. Each vendor has armour, weapons, ghosts and sparrows that will be unlocked once you obtain enough packages for their level. For instance, Zavala has a specific ghost available at Rank 50. Then each armour you obtain still has the ornament challenges on them. The content is now slowly starting to be fleshed out to where people expected it to be at launch.

    I didn't know about some of the different weapons required to shoot some fragments so I've edited above. I found 3 last night that I could shoot so hoping to get some more later now I know how to shoot them!

    One collectible activity is the Data Fragments, of which there are 45 to collect or 'shoot' to be clear. They can be found in weird and wonderful places - I'll pop up a quick short video to show what they are as I can't find a pic online. EDIT Important note - You have to shoot them with the corresponding weapons: - White - Kinetic Weapons - Coloured - Energy Weapons - Red Haze - Valkyrie There are 2 main rewards from this hunt. One at 35 fragments and one at the full 45 fragments. At both stages there is a cache you have to find to open to get the rewards. At 35, you can obtain Destiny 2's first exotic sword, Worldline Zero. At 45, you obtain an Exotic Sparrow. Quite a cool treasure hunt that takes a while (not if you're ultimate hardcore, like Datto) and seem cool rewards to obtain. I really like how you have to shoot them rather hold square on them. Makes a nice change.

    Forgot to say, worthwhile doing the story missions solo. Far more rewarding and satisfying.

    Whilst only Brede replied to this, it was cool to see 10 people from the FG clan on Destiny last night. Looking forward to some more tonight - be good to see even more of us on. Some actual decent content connected to far better rewards. And to see Sleeper Simulant and Black Spindle definitely confirmed is really exciting.

    The Graviton Lance is awesome! I used it for most of the night and the whilst it goes down to a 2-tap burst, the explosions are brilliant. I can see a fireteam of Graviton's would look crazy.

    It is really well made, albeit short. Btw, for a $20 expansion its expected to be short as Destiny isn't really about the story missions. The grind after that seems positive.
