Where y'all at? The update has landed better than expected. Gotta give it a chance with all the changes, especially with way better loot than previously available.
-
Just a heads up. Worthwhile grabbing Treasure Maps from Cayde-6 again as Exotic drop rates have been impacted by recent changes and you have a greater chance to drop an Exotic engram from them. They'll also help you level up alongside the Weekly Milestones. This weeks maps are for Nessus.

Destiny 2 Patch Update 1.2.0 - 8th May 2018
GazzaGarratt replied to GazzaGarratt's topic in Destiny 2
Vendor Progression hasn't been talked about but I do believe this is one of the most underrated changes we've had in this update. Most vendors now have a seasonal rank which you level up when you obtain a package. Each vendor has armour, weapons, ghosts and sparrows that will be unlocked once you obtain enough packages for their level. For instance, Zavala has a specific ghost available at Rank 50. Then each armour you obtain still has the ornament challenges on them. The content is now slowly starting to be fleshed out to where people expected it to be at launch.- 4 replies

I didn't know about some of the different weapons required to shoot some fragments so I've edited above. I found 3 last night that I could shoot so hoping to get some more later now I know how to shoot them!

One collectible activity is the Data Fragments, of which there are 45 to collect or 'shoot' to be clear. They can be found in weird and wonderful places - I'll pop up a quick short video to show what they are as I can't find a pic online. EDIT Important note - You have to shoot them with the corresponding weapons: - White - Kinetic Weapons - Coloured - Energy Weapons - Red Haze - Valkyrie There are 2 main rewards from this hunt. One at 35 fragments and one at the full 45 fragments. At both stages there is a cache you have to find to open to get the rewards. At 35, you can obtain Destiny 2's first exotic sword, Worldline Zero. At 45, you obtain an Exotic Sparrow. Quite a cool treasure hunt that takes a while (not if you're ultimate hardcore, like Datto) and seem cool rewards to obtain. I really like how you have to shoot them rather hold square on them. Makes a nice change.

Forgot to say, worthwhile doing the story missions solo. Far more rewarding and satisfying.
-
Whilst only Brede replied to this, it was cool to see 10 people from the FG clan on Destiny last night. Looking forward to some more tonight - be good to see even more of us on. Some actual decent content connected to far better rewards. And to see Sleeper Simulant and Black Spindle definitely confirmed is really exciting.
-
The Graviton Lance is awesome! I used it for most of the night and the whilst it goes down to a 2-tap burst, the explosions are brilliant. I can see a fireteam of Graviton's would look crazy.
-
It is really well made, albeit short. Btw, for a $20 expansion its expected to be short as Destiny isn't really about the story missions. The grind after that seems positive.
-
Official trailer for Fortnite X Avengers. Has anyone else had a go yet it looks insanely fun? Is it a random epic drop?
-
As Tom says, great idea. I do think they'd get more people buying it though if it was somewhere between £5-9. At £13, I can see quite a few people not even considering it, regardless of the cause. I'll look to do it if I get some cash in a few weeks.

If you're looking to save up for that beautiful Delorean for $4m, make sure you log in every day to GTA online from today, for the next 7 days. You'll get $250k initial login bonus and then $150k each day you login online. Way over $1m easily saved if you're saving up for something. It'll get deposited between 15th and 21st May. Also, Double Cash and RP on Stunt Races, Special Vehicle Circuit and Contact Missions. Looks like a good week to do FG GTA Races this week Instead of the Delorean, looking at the deals you could punt for a Bunker whilst they are 40% off or Mobile Operations Center at 30% off.

Happy Warmind Day FG! Just thought I'd ask who's playing today? I plan to be on later to enjoy the story missions. Also may have a quick go on some Ranked Crucible if I get time. You should be able to pre-load the DLC now. It's around 7-8 GB so start it early if you want to play from live time (7pm UK / 11am PDT).
-
@crazyman's first glimpse. That. Is. Insane.
-
So how is everyone finding the new updates? I didn't even realise they've been live for a while.

Forever Gaming - 2018 Plans
GazzaGarratt replied to GazzaGarratt's topic in Site info and announcements
After having an awesome Bank Holiday weekend with the family, I'm starting to write up quite a few things we can/should/want/need to do on FG. I do need help with this. We keep on building slowly along but it takes a shed load of effort and brainpower to keep stuff moving on here. I want to know who has geniune time in the coming few months to support the stuff we can and should do to make this place even better for us and new people. To give you a quick idea the stuff I want to start moving along, I'll list a few things: - More work on how Clubs interact on FG - FG Charity Stream - Installing new ways to make content and posts different - Progress our own native App across Apple and Android to intergrate website - FG Video Plans - Social Media interactions - Loads more stuff Let me know if you'd like to help or be supportive in other ways. Its not for everyone but I'm hoping we can keep the FG heart pumping harder and louder. Cheers all. -
Wife gets all the credit for this. We have these wood pieces that look random in our back garden so Hayley wanted to make a feature. Nothing expensive - A standard garden gate lock and solar lights in the shape of a bulb.
-
I had the chance to read about Crossout and see its crap before I even downloaded it! Destiny 2 DLC is available in less than 2 days.... (wait for Deadstiny joke inserted here).
-
When we update our server to Alpha, can we do something with Cactus and Mines please? More specifically not put them in the way of my walkathon?
-
Bungie video on Escalation Protocol. I'm actually pretty excited to jump back into Destiny for abit.
-
Let us know how it plays Shucker. I think a few of us are on the fence with this one.
-
Yeah, there's a quite a few looking at it Dan. There's already a thread on RDR2 currently going:

That's an amazing story Dave. Thanks for sharing. It's amazing that they've managed to do something like this and as you say to make it open source is even more amazing. @tronic44, they would definitely be a great charity to raise money for. We need to have a chat about that stream again.
-
That's ridiculous. How are they still in business if they've made 2 bad games.
