I made that point clear to regular website users and whatsapp users. I actually did more when I left a group called FG on whatsapp. The problem always comes when instant chat services get full with really useful game and life chat that is more suited to the website. My point to probably clearer (which I'll make clear to the 3/4 regular Discord users) is I want everyone to use the services we have as a community and I will ask active users of all places to use everything. I dont want to encourage as much as I have to but at the end of the day we are too small right now and we need support until a day comes that naturally people come to all angles and enjoy FG for what it is. At the end of the day if people want this place to be awesome most of us need to help push this place a little more. I know you're with the vision of FG Rob, my words come from positive places as sometimes we all need a kick up the arse to help around here. I have to be clear to everyone at FG.

Here's the deal. I want to make it clear when I took over FG I was pretty disheartened by how people use other formats and ignore the website. It took a long time to engagement back to a steady state but also I had time to learn over the months and years that if we want FG to be fun and engaging then we have to accept all formats of FG. That includes Discord, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc. At the same token, if you look at any family or community they will always have a base where you come and then branch out to other sections, acknowledging not all will go to every section. However, the reason we keep the Hub at the website is that we are far more than a forum. there is so much on here than anywhere else and because we're relatively small due to active users (people who post) you feel the quietness a little more than say reddit. Rob, I agreed with you initially that people who care most about FG should be on both. But equally the most active Discord users can't get pissy when we share stuff on FG and ask nicely to give their view. It goes both ways and at the size we are we know we probably ask people to help the FG cause a little more. Theres enough examples out there to show that places like Reddit (a forum) can work together with all the other channels of contact. But remember, this is more than a forum. We must remember this is how we met and this is why I keep this going. What I need people to get off their high horses on both fucking sides (regular members and new ones) stop being so god damn lazy and help the FG cause, if they truly care about FG. This place is bigger than any one person, including me. End. P.S. This isn't like me but I care more than anyone to keep FG going. If you did you will understand where I'm coming from is a positive place.

As part of trying to create a simple schedule so people have the chance to at least have a fun large party to play with, I want to get a list of games you'd like us to feature, similar to FG GTA Fridays but more on a monthly basis. I think its unrealistic to expect people to follow a weekly guide as alot of the time people like to pick up and play a game of their choice on any given night. We need to give things a chance though and it will turn out alright just like GTA Fridays did. It can even be small party games and we all jump on to do specfic challenges we set ourselves e.g. Pistol only Fortnite sessions or team speed runs on Co-op games. I'll start. I think we need at least a night on: - Black Ops 3 - Cards Against Humanity I want some real feedback here and for everyone to stick by it and give it a chance.

W/C 22nd May Developer Update They're continuing to make little steps forward with the QoL updates in game. I still think next week is the time to hop back in though as May 29th brings the first free content drop to players The Hungering Deep. Their plans to keep campaign drops in-game after completion are a good one, however that will have more impact when you can replay 3 or 4 different campaigns they need to drop. May set aside a night on PC to try it out next week - @phil bottle you game?

This was interesting watch, thanks James. Good points - I like that they are trying something different with the health regen. We're always asking for something different so no harm in trying it. - Good to see its not all about kills and assists count as the same as kills. Coming from a person that wants to try and support the team with a kill but doesn't get rewarded much from it, seems like a great move. Bad Points - 5v5. I wish games could hold down a standard party size but at the same token, there doesn't seem to be many games going forward that support 6-8 player teams which would be a nice change. Undecided - The select player at the start of game. It's trying to follow Overwatch's style but I'm not sure that works in a CoD. Like some of you guys say, keep OW to OW. Depends if it really changes the way you play or its just another gimmick. Overall though, seems like a game we could get some time sunk into it.

The Clan XP Engram is still bugged - Don't turn it in! It will be fixed with the next patch update which comes next week on May 29th.

Watched Spiderman Homecoming. Never ever liked Spiderman as a Hero and the other earlier films I've watched back my dislike towards him but this film was completely different. The new Spiderman actor plays it brilliantly and I love the humour in it. Hits the right angle for a Spiderman film.

More than happy to try this out this week with others. I think we'll get more engagement from randoms too due to the Nascent Dawn steps. Got to Wave 4 last night. Does anyone know where the loot was for Wave 3 completion? I didn't seem to drop anything specific.

Plenty of decent randoms doing EP for the first task of step 3. 10 wave completions required mean Escalation Protocol is going off all the time.

This is one of the things to pick up again. To share, it would be really good to have something called 'FG Gamerscore'. If anyone has ideas they want considering in this please shout up now.

We need to think of a schedule that we have actively open slots for people that would like to do this. Anyone want to help look into this?

@Tadnothad Tad finally got his package Friday...he can now finally find his way on to GTA Fridays! Hope it brought the Feel Good factor to last week mate! Hopefully the final package that was currently out on delivery to another FGer will get there this week or next. Thanks for giving the Feel Good's out FG!

The quickest thing to do is 2 party chats which I like the idea. Discord helps getting hold of people instantly too. Atvthevend of the day though, if the regular FGers are not attempting to use Discord I suggest start at party chat until theyvwork Discord out (although there really isn't anything to work out). Unless you want me to look into shoutbox, or whatever it was called again?

I logged online last night thinking I'll level up my other characters and pop and say hi to a few people whilst I was on. Jumped into @Baabcat and Charlie's chat to say hi and hope he was enjoying the update. Next thing I knew they needed an extra to try Eater of Worlds Lair. I said why not, although it was kinda weird that there was 3 randoms to do it with since I've never lfg'd because I want to get all FG people experiencing and enjoying raids. However, a lad we called 'Dog' for short was extremely good at explaining the lair and really took the time to explain things and patient when we wiped as a team a few odd times. I heard the Argos fight was good but boy it was better than good. Some extremely fun mechanics to do as a team and after a few tries we nailed it. It is a 300 Power requirement so having the extra Power comfort is helpful to say the least. I was 354. You also get powerful loot from it which is ace. This is really worthwhile doing and trying out considering many FGers are thinking about coming back. I'm peetty sure most didn't give it a try. I will ask this guy if he wants to help others out - he had the perfect attitude, but it really dawned on me that this is what we all wanted to do but we haven't got near it. But that also doesn't mean we should lose that drive to keep trying. Raid nights need to come a thing here and I really hope you guys give it a go as a group. Its just as fun getting the whole family through it as well as you completing it.

Update. Calendar is now fixed! Update went live this morning. App - I'm not hearing of any further App issues and I can see many people use it now so please shout if you still have issues. Screenshots help too.
