  1. I didn't expect another update, albeit a small one in a few weeks. Really interested to know more about how they've had to change Faction Rally. Equally, Crucible Labs sound intriguing. Especially as it sounds like a PvP test arena. Something that many saud would never come to Destiny. Great to see a new event between now and September too.
  2. New Updated Roadmap [emoji4] Via the FG App
  3. @LordBaguette @Amnotright @Stretch616 you may want to put your footballing knowledge to good use.
  4. You can do 3 Level 1 EPs so it's not too bad. I didn't realise you're struggling with those. Are you following the hints of where you should be looking for the right Sleeper Node?
  5. Calus is still at the lower level so this is the ideal one to start with again. The last raid lair just released is 360/370 and a bitch of a fight.
  6. Soldier Venom skin
  7. Chris@amnotright has shared the Rubber Duck locations. Via the FG App
  8. There's a Roadmap Update later today from Bungie so I have my fingers crossed for Bounties in the Summer update.
  9. Looks heavily geared towards SP but it mentions MP, what is that like? The story droppings on that review makes it tempting and I love the crafting book concept! Decent price and I could be swayed if it has a good MP side.
  10. Matchmaking changes were backed out after the first day of the May update. Looks like now it is back in. At some point I'll be looking to try out the Ranked Crucible to see how it fairs. Not because I want to be sweaty, more so because I want to see if there's any chance of getting that Crucible gun reward. May mess about in more quickplay to test put which guns feel smooth for me.
  11. Looks pretty cool mate. Like how the character vaults up to ledges. Is there a level or gear progression system Justin?
  12. How many players can you have in one game?
  13. Still need more votes on this but it sounds like most nights work for all. I'm noticing more than enough on over the last few days for raids so may put one ad-hoc one in and see how that goes. I'm thinking to go back to Calus to start with and move onwards when confident to the Raid Lairs. The latest lair probably should be left until we get past 370 as it is tricky as hell.
  14. I suppose a few things here. 1) You still have to have enough credits or get lucky enough to drop them in a loot box. 2) Its a limited time event so after 3 weeks they're locked again. Based on these 2 facts I'm pretty comfortable you can get them. Over time in any game you should be able to obtain specific skins you want. Exclusivity of items is a difficult subject when to lock things from people permanently.
  15. Timegating 1 step per week is a process is something I'm not hugely thrilled about as it seems a lazy way to elongate a questline when it just suddenly appears every Tuesday. Whereas if there was a specific challenge on a given day we have to do to get the next step to drop is more acceptable. The balance on this is that it's still a long quest with some interesting steps in it so far. Hoping the next ones will be just as interesting.
  16. There is a quest that will drop post missions in the Warmind DLC called Nascent Dawn. The prize for this quest is the Exotic Scout Rifle, Polaris Lance (Ana Bray's gun). It has 5 steps, each step has multiple tasks and only one step can be done each week i.e. it's week 2 of the DLC and at the weekly reset a milestone was available from Ana for step 2 as I completed step 1 last week. Nascent Dawn 1/5 Step 1 - Complete 3 Patrols on Mars. Step 2 - Complete a Lost Sector on Mars. This can be either the Core Terminusfound in the Braytech Futurescape or the Ma'adim Subterrane in the Glacial Drifts. Step 3 - Access a Sleeper Node on Mars. Completing this step will grant you Diary 1/5. Step 4 - Bring the Diary 1/5 to Ana Bray. Bringing the Diary to Ana Bray will cause her to reward the Guardian with an Engram. Step 5 - Turn around from Ana Bray and head over to the marked machine. Insert the Diary into it to receive The Unsolvable Problem. Nascent Dawn 2/5 Step 1 - Get 25 Valkyriekills on Mars. Step 2 - Complete the Heroic version of Psionic Potential. Step 3 - Unlock a Sleeper Node. We now know that it is in the Lost Sector near the lowest Fast Travel point. You don't need Resonate Stems for this. Step 4 - Return Diary 2/5 to Ana Bray's terminal. Step 5 - Receive Legendary Prototype Gun. Legendary version of Polaris Lance. Nascent Dawn 3/5 Step 1 - Complete 10 waves of Escalation Protocol Step 2 - Complete 3 Vaguard Strikes Step 3 - Return Diary to Ana Bray's terminal Step 4 - Receive Masterwork Legendary Prototype Gun. Nascent Dawn 4/5 Step 1 - Using any weapon, get 5 precision multikills without reloading and 20 kills with the weapon. Step 2 - Complete the mission "Fury" on Io Step 3 - Open this sleeper node in Rasputin's Mindlab, just outside the door to Rasputin's chamber and return to Ana Bray. Step 4 - Return Diary to Ana Bray's terminal Step 5 - Receive Polaris Lance Exotic Gun Nascent Dawn 5/5 Step 1 - 15 Javelin MultiKills (3+ quickly). Step 2 - 3 PvP matches completed Step 3 - Complete Strange Terrain Mission (Nokris) Step 4 - Unlock the Sleeper node in the middle of the Alton Dynamo Server Room Step 5 - Return Diary to Ana Bray's terminal Step 6 - Receive Polaris Lance Catalyst The catalyst requires Enemies Defeated (at 0%, probably 300 as usual) and 50 kills with the Perfect Fifth perk NOTE: it appears you have to get the kills with the burn, not the perfect 5th explosion for this to count. The best way is to load up Leviathan, prepare the Perfect Shot and shoot a full health Cabal infantry. He'll burn out and you'll make progress.
  17. Do not turn your Clan XP milestone in! Bungie have confirmed that it has a bug so it won't drop a powerful engram. They've said if you leave it til reset it will decrypt automatically into a powerful drop.
  18. Well played Blizzard. To open up the entire seasonal skins from all the events is a really good move. Even better is that you can buy any skin you want so hope you've all saved your coins up. With all the events coming back on a daily rotation is a nice concept but I think people will actually get a bit miffed they can't choose the mode they want to.
  19. Btw, if you're struggling on a Heroic, like I was last night, and you're doing the Sleeper Simulant quest you can switch out from thr Ikelos Hand Cannon but you must switch it back before the boss dies to make it count. Yeah, a 50 minute strike ended this way for me when I used Graviton Lance instead. Well played Lee. 😐
  20. Just needed the right strikes and balance of Guardians. Pyramidion went down super quick with 2 Tractor Cannons (huge void damage buff) with a Hunter Nightstalker super. Arms Dealer and Strange Terrain (Nokris) were okay too but @SensaiNemesis switched to his monster Void Trials Sniper and combined with Tractor Cannon worked.
  21. I wouldn't say this Quest is difficult to figure out as you follow the quest steps until Ana gives you this but it is certainly a grind and along the way there are some challenging activities to do to get this done, mainly due to your Power level struggles along the way. Here's the Quest steps to get the Sleeper Simulant: Complete the main story in Warmind and subsequent missions Legacy Code and A Piece of the Past Receive the IKELOS Hand Cannon as quest reward, then visit Ana Bray and pick up the Violent Intel quest item Defeat Hive and Cabal with an IKELOS weapon equipped Defeat yellow bar enemies with an IKELOS weapon equipped Complete 5 Heroic Strikes with an IKELOS weapon equipped Complete 3 Escalation Protocol levels and find 15 Sleeper Nodes with an IKELOS weapon equipped Complete the 'Will of the Thousands' mission with an IKELOS weapon equipped It's now a 2 mag size rather than 3 due to how Power ammo works but it is something that fits clearly into Warmind and definitely will help against key bosses. I'm really enjoyong the grind for this. It is the closest quest we've had to D1 in terms of steps and I hope we get more of these going forward. The Sleeper Nodes are a brilliant way of one of the steps as lots of people enjoy hide and seek collectibles that also have a purpose.

  25. The update in May has been a significant Power update and brought in modifiers which are making them way more fun to run now but at the same time excrutiatingly painful when it gets to the bosses with the Power level set at 350. There is one big issue with them is the loot reward, which is acknowledged by Bungie and they are now looking into what changes they can make. Essentially it does not drop 'Powerful' Gear or at least gear that around your light level. It is capped at the soft cap at 340. This has to change as its more powerful to run than the rewards. However, away from this one point, heroics are needed for quest steps now as well as Milestone rewards so there are reasons to run them. They feel as intense as Nightfalls were without the hassle of any timer. It is really satisfying when you complete one, especially whilst your Power level sits around the 350 mark. There seems to be one elemental burn per week with modifiers changing daily. Last week was Solar Burn and yesterday I had Grounded on (damage to you is way higher whilst in the air) and it was a nightmare. Ended up not being able to complete a strike and I was 348. Your fireteam should really work together but its also great that it has matchmaking you can run solo in party of 3 too. Its making me think more about my loadout but also what type of elemental class I use as a Guardian. I switched to Sunbreaker last night and put the top tree perks on to try and get Melting Point on the boss to deal more damage. How are others finding them?
