I agree. Top fun watch. Felt for Merson, seems a genuine bloke. They deserved the win. Scotland were utter trash. Gotta be the worst result they've ever had surely?
-
I've just had a look through it and it's 'okay' for a first battle pass. Kinda disappointed that theres no challenges/objectives but hopefully that will come. At least you just have to play the game and level up for rewards and then can get 1000 apex coins which will pay for the next one. Heres hoping this is the start which will get better at each battle pass. I want to be able to earn more than 1000 apex coins next time round. And yes, this is the first time I'm actually considering a battle pass. On a free, digital game. Which is one gamemode. Crazy, I know, but the game is so solid and just fun.

Destiny Patch Update - Hotfix 2.2.0.2. 19th March
GazzaGarratt replied to GazzaGarratt's topic in Destiny 2
I really ain't sure what this issue is Brede. I've not heard about it...any way you can take a screenshot of your quest step and maybe share it? As I said the other night I heard one side only works with Gambit Prime but I cant remember which. -
GENERAL UPDATES ARMOR Developer Comments: The damage taken by armor from damage over time effects, such as Widowmaker’s Venom Mine, and beam weapons, like Symmetra’s Photon Projector, varied greatly. Now it will be more consistent and predictable. Beam-type damage is now reduced by 20% when hitting armor Mei: Primary Fire Moira: Alternate Fire, Coalescence Symmetra: Primary Fire, Sentry Turret Winston: Primary Fire Zarya: Primary Fire Damage over time effects are no longer mitigated by armor Ana: Primary Fire Ashe: Dynamite Hanzo: Dragonstrike Mei: Blizzard Moira: Biotic Orb Widowmaker: Venom Mine Zarya: Graviton Surge DAMAGE BOOST Developer Comments: Previously, the effects of damage boosting were only accounted for if the damage-dealing hero was being boosted as they landed a hit. Now, damage is applied to the projectile as it is fired. This means the damage-dealing hero doesn’t need to be boosted when the projectile hits an enemy for the damage boost to be accounted for. Damage boost is now applied when a projectile is fired rather than when it hits a target KNOCKBACK Developer Comments: Knockbacks are now less affected by how the enemy was moving when they were hit. Instead of having small or large knockbacks that depend on chance, knockbacks will feel similar regardless of the enemy’s movement leading up to the knockback. Allowing flying heroes, like Mercy when using her Valkyrie ability or D.Va using her Booster ability, to be properly knocked back makes for more fluid, realistic gameplay. Knockback distance is now more consistent Heroes that are flying can now be knocked back and slowed SOUND Developer Comments: With the addition of Baptiste, we wanted to be sure that you can tell when your hits were being buffed or nullified, regardless of what hero you’re playing. A new sound plays when you land a hit while damage boosted A new sound plays when you land a hit, but it doesn’t do any damage HERO UPDATES ANA Developer Comments: Giving Nano Boost an instant heal effect enabled players to survive longer and made Ana’s ultimate valuable. However, it was a bit too strong when healing heroes with large health pools. NANO BOOST Heal reduced from 300 to 250 DOOMFIST Developer Comments: Reducing the downtime of Doomfist’s abilities will give him some power back and make his gameplay feel more fluid. RISING UPPERCUT Cooldown reduced from 7 to 6 seconds SEISMIC SLAM Cooldown reduced from 7 to 6 seconds HANZO Developer Comments: Because of how dense the environment is on some maps, the Sonic Arrow can feel ineffective in some areas. Increasing Sonic Arrow’s detection radius should make it more effective. SONIC ARROW Detection radius increased from 7 to 9 meters JUNKRAT Developer Comments: Junkrat is one of the best barrier and tank busters in the game, and this change will help solidify this role. This doesn’t change the Frag Launcher’s explosive damage, which remains at 80. The total damage for direct impact is now 130, up from 120. Since we increased Frag Launcher’s damage output, Junkrat builds his ultimate too quickly. We’re increasing the cost of his ultimate to balance this change with his increased damage-dealing capabilities. FRAG LAUNCHER Impact damage increased from 40 to 50 RIP-TIRE Cost increased by 10% LÚCIO Developer Comments: The knockback on Lúcio's Soundwave is a great tool for pushing enemies into situations that get them killed, so they should be rewarded an offensive assist for doing so. Lúcio’s ability to increase his teammate’s speed was too strong, especially when used on high health/low range heroes. We’re decreasing the overall power of Lúcio's Speed Boost but increasing the speed bonus he gets from using Wall Ride so his mobility isn’t impacted too much. AMP IT UP Speed Boost’s amplification reduced from 70% to 50% CROSS FADE Speed Boost’s effect reduced from 30% to 20% SONIC AMPLIFIER Soundwave now counts towards Offensive Assists WALL RIDER Speed buff increased from 20% to 40% MCCREE Developer Comments: After reducing armor’s effectiveness for all heroes, Fan the Hammer doesn’t need to deal quite as much damage. Increasing Deadeye’s damage after being locked on for a bit makes it more effective when attacking high health, static targets (like barriers) and heroes with over 250 health. It will not impact how dangerous this is for heroes under 250 health. FAN THE HAMMER Damage reduced from 55 to 50 DEADEYE Damage per second increased from 275 to 550 after locking onto targets for 1.5 seconds MEI Developer Comments: Increasing the damage of Mei’s primary fire should make her Freeze and Icicle move combination more potent. Making the pillars on Mei’s Ice Wall easier to destroy means less waiting for the wall to disappear on its own and more opportunities to counter it. ENDOTHERMIC BLASTER Primary fire damage increased from 2.25 to 2.75 (45 to 55 damage per second) ICE WALL Health reduced from 500 to 400 MOIRA Developer Comments: These minor changes make Moira’s passive healing effect on Biotic Grasp slightly more effective when topping off an ally’s health. BIOTIC GRASP Heal over time duration increased from 3 to 4 seconds Total healing increased from 50 to 65 ORISA Developer Comments: As a defensive tank, Orisa can have trouble pushing forward with the team. Allowing Orisa to move faster while firing should make it easier to apply pressure on the enemy team and use her barrier in proactive ways. FUSION DRIVER Movement speed penalty while firing reduced from 50% to 30% PHARAH Developer Comments: This change sets the Rocket Launcher’s minimum damage to where it was before we rebalanced its direct impact and explosive damage in a recent patch. ROCKET LAUNCHER Minimum explosion damage increased from 16.25 to 20 REAPER Developer Comments: A recent change that increased Reaper’s healing while he dealt damage was a bit too strong, sometimes making opponents feel like Reaper was unstoppable. THE REAPING Healing received from dealing damage reduced from 50% to 40% SOLDIER: 76 Developer Comments: This change should potentially allow Soldier: 76 to kill an enemy hero one shot sooner. Reducing the time between when you use Sprint and when you can fire should make the ability more fluid and responsive. Giving Tactical Visor the ability to target Junkrat’s RIP-Tire and Baptiste’s Immortality Field drone is a quality of life improvement, since these are both critical targets. PULSE RILE Damage increased from 19 to 20 SPRINT Delay before you can fire the weapon after using Sprint reduced from .5 to .3 seconds TACTICAL VISOR Can target RIP-Tire and Immortality Field SOMBRA Developer Comments: The cooldown on Hack often made it feel less effective to target health packs instead of players. This will make both health packs and players viable targets for hacking. HACK Cooldown is reduced by half when hacking a health pack Changed the visual appearance to more clearly indicate when something has been hacked SYMMETRA Developer Comments: This will allow Symmetra to more consistently reach peak damage output from her Photon Projector. PHOTON PROJECTOR Primary Fire’s damage ramps up 20% faster TORBJÖRN Developer Comments: Torbjörn’s survivability was a bit low, so we’ve shifted some power from his Overload ability to his base health. GENERAL Base health increased by 50 armor (250 maximum health) OVERLOAD Armor gain reduced from 150 to 100 WIDOWMAKER Developer Comments: Infra-Sight had no counter to its effect, so it now ends when Widowmaker dies. To balance out its higher risk of use, Infra-Sight now reveals enemy health bars to Widowmaker’s team. INFRA-SIGHT Reveals enemy health bars Now canceled on death WRECKING BALL Developer Comments: This will make Adaptive Shield a more powerful survival tool, since being forced out of Roll mode left Wrecking Ball more susceptible to fire. ADAPTIVE SHIELD No longer cancels Roll mode ZARYA Developer Comments: Zarya’s damage greatly increases when at high energy, while also gaining increased beam size and a larger explosion radius. This often allowed Zarya to deal too much damage and made the explosions from the Alternate Fire on her Particle Cannon nearly impossible to avoid. This change will still allow Zarya to deal a lot of damage, but makes it more difficult to actually apply the damage. PARTICLE CANNON Alternative Fire’s explosion radius changed to 2 meters, regardless of energy level ZENYATTA Developer Comments: Zenyatta’s Orb of Discord makes him a nearly irreplaceable support hero on your team. We’re reducing its impact for Zenyatta’s team, but increasing the potency of the Orb of Destruction to compensate for its lesser effect. ORB OF DESTRUCTION Damage increased from 46 to 48 ORB OF DISCORD Effect reduced from 30% to 25%

Destiny Patch Update - Hotfix 2.2.0.2. 19th March
GazzaGarratt replied to GazzaGarratt's topic in Destiny 2
I cant see any reason why power should remain an issue now. I guarantee all the hardcore player base will be up to 690 within a day or two. -

Should they have left it at 3 or is this something that still will be legendary as the first 3 films?
-
Why are fatalities always so God damn good to watch?!
-
Be good to have snippets from people that have played the game on how to do stuff that is valuable to playing the game. Things like autorun would be cool to know (since I wanted to know, I found out its PC only currently) and be shared. Cheers all

QUALITY OF LIFE Added "Swap LT/RT & LB/RB" / "Swap L1/R1 & L2/R2") toggle in the Controller Button Layout settings. Lets you quickly swap what your bumpers & triggers are set to, with any controller preset. Added "Sprint View Shake" setting under the Video tab. Setting this to "Minimal" can be especially helpful for players susceptible to motion sickness. Added "Trigger Deadzones" setting under the Controller tab. Customize how far you want to pull the triggers before they register. Added "Advanced Look Controls" settings submenu under the Controller tab. Fine-tune specific aspects of the look controls for a custom feel; such as Deadzone, Response Curve, Target Compensation (aim assist), and more. When you relinquish the Jumpmaster position to another player you will now hear your Legend’s VO line in addition to the new Jumpmaster. The third player won’t hear it though. Improved mantling from a grapple point. Pathfinder can now grapple ziplines. We’ve added D-pad navigation as a convenience in most of the menus. Our hope is this will speed up browsing and improve accessibility. UI improvements to the KO Shield Shield bar drains to indicate the remaining health of the shield. When you have a Gold KO Shield and are down, we’ve added an effect to the label that reminds you that you can self revive. We saw that the Ring indicator that appears when players are viewing the whole map wasn’t accurately showing the player’s position so we fixed that. Character animations while taking damage now accurately reflect the direction the damage is coming from. Fixed a bug where occluded sounds would sometimes sound unoccluded. Patched up some issues with missing geo on Kings Canyon and fixed a few spots where players were getting stuck. Fixed a script error that could happen when removing attachments on holstered weapons. General polish to game UI fixing some grammar issues, improved navigation, and composition of elements. Fixed PC users constantly switching weapons while scrolling through items in a Death Box. Fixed issue where we were seeing server stability issues sometimes caused by purchasing items while matchmaking. Fixed script errors that could occur during the skydive. Reduced skybox fog. Adjusted the code for Supply Bins so they are less likely to kill players. If you do still get killed by one please let us know! Made it so push-to-talk is no longer on when a chat box is active. LT/RT no longer switches between players in spectator mode while the map is open. Updated the minimap to more accurately reflect the geo and points of interest on the main map. Adding sound FX to the UI for the key binding menu. Fixed issue where a player’s name would not show up when they send a message that reached the character limit. Fixed bug where sometimes the Champion screen resolution would be stretched in widescreen resolutions. Fixed audio bug where sometimes the zipline sounds FX would keep playing after disembarking. Added accessibility option to modify the subtitle size. Improvements / fixes for color blind players: Added better color blind support for Blood Hound’s Threat Vision. Colorblind colors per setting are now displayed in the settings menu. Colorblind settings moved from Video Settings to Gameplay->Accessibility. They are now applied on the fly. Enemy pings now use proper enemy color instead of only using red. Audio: Turned down volume when Wraith activates a portal. Turned down the end sounds on the Peacekeeper charged shot. Turned down the draw/holster sound slightly for thermite grenades. LEGEND BALANCE & HITBOX ADJUSTMENTS Adjusted hitboxes for Gibraltar, Caustic, and Pathfinder to better align with their shapes. Caustic: Reduced cooldown of Traps 30 -> 25 seconds. Increased radius and proximity radius by about 10%. Removed a 1 second delay on the smoke dealing damage to players. Reduced cooldown of Gas Grenade 2:30 -> 2:00 seconds. Pathfinder: Insider Knowledge Increased the number of beacons in the world 10-> 12. Bangalore: Double Time Reduced move speed bonus to 40% -> 30%. Gibraltar: Defensive Bombardment Fixed a bug where your teammates wouldn't be affected by Shell Shock. This was meant to be the same as Bangalore's ultimate. WEAPONS Fixed players being able to shortcut weapon swap by changing stance Fixed players being able to shortcut Peacekeeper rechamber sequence Fixed inaccurate auto ranging fullscreen (sniper) optics when base FOV is not set to default Spitfire: fixed ADS view on Legendaries partially obscured by custom geo. (The Continuum, The Heavy Construct) Fixed ADS view being blocked when using Caustic legendary skins with certain weapon/ optic combos Digital threat optics: threat highlights are now more visible (slightly brighter; no longer affected by TSAA) Fixed bug where Devotion audio sometimes wouldn’t accurately reflect rate of fire. ADDITIONAL BUG FIXES Fixed rare issue where a player could get stuck on the drop ship and be invulnerable. Patched up the hole we found in Gibraltar’s shield. Fixed issue where Lifeline’s revive shield wouldn’t stay put while on a moving platform. Fixed issue where sometimes players would get stuck in map geometry while skydiving from the dropship or Jump Towers. Fixed bug where players could still shoot even after being downed. Fixed bug where occasionally Lifeline’s D.O.C. drone would stay connected to a player but not heal them. Limited the amount of Lifeline’s D.O.C. drones that can connect to a player to 2. Fixed Pathfinder’s zipline not deploying when jumping. Fixed a bug with the HUD where sometimes the Heal Bar would stay up if the heal was cancelled right after it was started. Fixed a bug where sometimes the audio would continue to play sound FX for the Knockdown Shield even after it’s been destroyed. Fixed issue where sometimes players could get disconnected when unplugging their controller during a game. Fixed the exploit where you could do infinite wallclimb using Pathfinder’s Grapple. Fixed bug where sometimes you couldn’t fire the Peacekeeper after riding a zip line. Fixed issue where sometimes the skybox fog would not appear while spectating after you died. Fixed bug where Banner Cards would show through walls occasionally when viewed through a very high FOV. Fixed some odd light flickering that was happening on the ballon flags attached to Jump Towers. Fixed bug where sometimes a player’s Banner Card would not show up after character select. RAZER CHROMA SUPPORT Apex Legends will now detect Razer Chroma peripherals and supported devices will now play animated colors that react to things you do in the game! Some examples: Red lights during banner transitions. While skydiving colors will tune to the color of your smoke trail. Picking up loot. Opening Apex Packs Firing and taking damage. Colors that flash when your Ultimate is ready. And more!

STABILITY & PERFORMANCE We’ve got some fixes in this patch that will improve stability on PC but we know there are still issues out there we need to address. We also added crash reporting so we can better understand how to tackle the issues we haven’t solved yet and address future ones. Improved stability for various GPU configurations. Capped PC FPS to 300 to balance improving stability but still letting you folks enjoy those sweet frames. Addressed issue with PS4 crashes due to running out of memory. Introducing better reporting when Apex crashes on PC without error message. We really want to fix any crashes people happen to get on PC. We also respect our player’s privacy. So, if the PC game crashes, it will write "apex_crash.txt" to your "Documents" folder. This tiny file is plain text, so you can easily see for yourself that it has no personal information. If you choose to share this file with us, it will tell us whether the crash was in Apex or in third party software. If the crash was in Apex, our programmers can use the information to find and fix it. If you experience a crash, please include this file when you report. We protect your personal information. You can easily see everything in the file yourself; we have no secrets. You're in control of whether we ever see the file. Please submit the file when you create a bug report on our forums here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/bd-p/apex-legends-bug-reports-en Added Report a Player feature for cheating and abuse on PC. Players can now report cheaters they encounter in-game and it’ll be sent directly to Easy Anti-Cheat. You can do this from either the spectate view after dying or when looking at your team’s Banner Cards in the Squad tab. We have lots of other work going on behind the scenes and this remains high priority for us. We won’t be able to share many specifics of what we’re doing but we’ll strive to provide updates on progress for the things we can talk about. As I'm finishing the notes this morning, 499,937 accounts and counting have been banned for cheating. Speed hacking: We do currently have anti-speed hacking in Apex Legends, but it’s not being as effective as intended due to a bug that we believe we’ve identified and will be addressing in our next server update. Will provide ETA for it when I have it. Working to get it out ASAP. Added Report a Player for abuse on Consoles You can report players from the spectate view after dying or when looking at your team’s Banner Cards in the Squad tab. Optimized skydiving to improve overall server performance. Fixed bug where sometimes the client could crash when opening Apex Packs one right after the other.

W/C 19th March Braytech Rocket Launch back available via Strange Terrain NF if anyone needs it for their Collection/Seal Title.
-
New hero is now available. The above video shows off his skills and some scenarios where he could be used. Let us know how people get on with him.
-
Yeah looks it, thanks @Diddums. It's also because CR has height adjustments available where the other hasn't. I'll see if I can get this deal ASAP.
-
Pretty big move and fair play to them. I'll probably pick this up as the xbox is collecting dust still.
-
This Google search shows a few with the one that crispy found lower down in the search. Was just curious as to how different they were: Google Search
-
Absolutely. 5 times over in case I get preorder bonuses galore. But if it is good, make sure you dont get it. You cant buy stuff that is good you know, cos like, that would be just mad wouldn't it. Srsly though, I cant see this being any good imo. What details were released about the games available and how they'll be available?
-
Thanks @crispymorgan @phil bottle @Diddums Looks like that's a great deal then, quick question. What's the difference between CR and C as I can see theres an identical one without this letter bit 40 quid less. I'd rather go with the better performing monitor as I want to see my PC actually do some work.
-
Theres a strong likelihood I can look at a monitor this upcoming month. Although it will need to be a 24" - dont think that's an issue right as from what Rob put earlier in this thread? Actually be open to a curved one but it's not essential. Is this the kind of thing I should be looking at?
-
This price is more tempting. I dont like the characters style but hopefully that is insignificant to the world and those enemies that looked cool. Interested to hear how you guys get on with it all.
-
Last week I found the album '80's Symphonic' on Amazon Music which is a pretty awesome if you ask me. Lots of great 80's tunes remixed with symphony background sounds. Simple Minds performing Alive and Kicking is immense.
-
@SensaiNemesis, I think we have an EU one and an American one as I think Justin and a few others play it too. No worries at all if you want to join Robs though either. I'd always envisioned us having a clan and however many we need to so it covers everyone here. I'll report back but if there isn't an American one for FG Chad, why dont you make it!
-
Great to hear your desire is back in something like this mate. You've always had the knowledge for this and it's cool seeing the progress in your post. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Love the bike and Tiger ones @techno! 👏👏👏
