Alright, Alright, Alright! It's coming next Tuesday! Why is it that the viDocs are so god damn well made. New Roadmap with updated elements on Drifter season and a few in the redacted...Season of the Opulence Detailed Drifter Season breakdown The Allegiance quest, previously forecast as the Joker’s Wild weekly quest, will invite you to choose between the Vanguard and the Drifter. Pick a side to progress through the quest from their perspective. This pledge is character based, so if you have more than one Guardian, you can play both sides. Choose wisely! Invitations of the Nine, once upon a time referred to as Xûr Bounties, will be an exploration of the Nine and their mysterious place in the universe. The path begins with Xûr on Friday, March 15. Annual Pass owners will be able to pick up an “Invitation of the Nine” from Xûr. Once the objectives are completed, it will transform into a bounty called “Into the Unknown.” These will be available to complete once per character, similar to the bounties you got at the beginning of Forsaken for completing an activity with a full gear set. Week over week, for Nine weeks, you’ll collect new lore and powerful rewards. For Annual Pass holders, the rest of the Season of the Drifter packs in new combat specialties to embrace and new challenges to master. Like Season of the Forge, this journey will roll out over time, but the Drifter has plenty of action for players to experience on day one. If you think your Power is low and you want to get caught up to the rest of the community, see the Drifter to complete his new Power Surge Bounties. There are enough of them to bring your level-50 characters up to 640 Power.

Yeah, we lost that rather than Wales winning it. Probably a good thing being it Rugby World Cup year. They need to keep focused and be aware complacency can happen. Different side second half after looking unbeatable in that first half.

Thanks Dave. I really struggle with the idea of real oats in the morning. I can have those packets from Quaker Oats but I know it comes with sugar. I dont think that's all that bad though, I mean it's still an oats base to it, just with a nicer flavour. @Dan94, it's a little of losing weight but also toning up too. My footy has come at a welcome time although I'm struggling for energy reserves some days. I really dont want a radical diet. I still want to eat most things I enjoy as this isn't forced on me, but I know I need to do it due to age and metabolism changes plus mentally I really expect this will give me extra boost in the long run.

One extra mission available from the main game, on top of what you could play in the private beta. Chance to also tryout the invaded mission. I'm passing on this as said previously, not because it doesn't interest me but more so not wanting to spoil the Day 1 playthrough for myself.

Yep. I can respect that he doesn't like the story, and I'm not surprised that correlates with you Gary I actually think most people thought the story has developed further in D2 launch and then again at Forsaken - but again can understand how some people that dont get that engaged in story could probably not get what was going on at some parts. This guys channel and background based on previous uploads suggests he isn't the type of person that cares about any game story and just wants to play FPS style games. I think he had some valid points but he seems to have a lot of negativity on all games rather than be abit more balanced about stuff. oh, and @techno, i know you loved the Cayde mission for his loot boxes so you love stories in games really

I'm doing my best to eat the following in 9-5 Mon-Fri: 1 slice of seed sensations toast 1 wholemeal batch with ham, with sundries tomato thin thinbite crisps and a yoghurt (ideally the 10 cal strawberry Jelly that's awesome) When I get home I have dinner straight away which is smaller portions than normal but its whatever we usually cook as it's never too bad. Stuff like spicy rice and chicken knives or mash, peas, chicken and gravy. I may have an odd chocolate bar through the week but I'm trying hard not to. My struggle is I'm seriously hungry AF between 11 and 5. If I could be flat out at work, rather than just busy, I wouldn't mind but any moment I get to myself, I just wanna eat. They say drink more but I drink Tea by the bucket load which is apparently 100 calories each cup due to the milk. If I could try and just drink maybe 3 a day, that would be amazing...just dont want to give it all up and feel unhappy. A few calories shouldn't make that much difference. Also, I'm now doing footy 8 til 9 on a Weds night with my old footy mates. Great laugh, hard work and much needed. One more run a week would be ideal too but one step at a time

Couldn't agree more tbh. I loved this review. Whilst funny at lots of moments, you could see he was genuinely disappointed that it's no way near the game he hoped it would be, especially a Bioware game. I haven't ever been attached to a Bioware game but I think that's irrelevant - the game should've been able in 6 years to learn from their peers. They were lucky to come after the ones that have been in the spotlight first.

What are you listening to right now?

I'm very late to the party here but theres still a few days left for everyone to do 13 challenges, all reasonably easy. Just takes a little bit of time and grouping when possible. I wouldn't normally look at this but my son seems to have got into it a little, even if he doesn't really get the concept of any game. I'd love to get it for him so if anyone is about today and tomorrow that would be great - might he cool for a few of us to get it. Also, the battle pass is cross platform as long as you've linked your accounts. I've done most on the Switch so far. Free Overtime Challenges: Complete Free Overtime Challenges to get Season 8 Battle Pass (13) Collect Coins in Featured Creative Islands (15) Deal damage to opponents with Assault Rifles or Pistols (500) Search chests or ammo boxes at a motel or an RV park (7) Place Top 15 in Duos with a friend (3) Regain health from a campfire in different matches (3) Visit different Named Locations (10) Search a Supply Drop in different matches (2) Revive a player in different matches (3) Visit different waterfalls (7) Deal damage to opponents with Shotguns or SMGs (500) Search chests or ammo boxes at The Block (7) Place Top 10 in Squads with a friend (3) Play matches of Driftin’ with a friend (3) Thank the Bus Driver in different matches (7) Search chests or ammo boxes at a racetrack or a dance club (7) Outlast 75 opponents in a single match (1)

I love the fact you can jump back into this game with a few of us and all of a sudden the night is gone and it's pretty much 1am. @Diddums, @Bluebear, @Kemp210 and myself rocked up into Iron Banner to see how it's been and I think we only lost twice out of about 10 games (last one cos we were all falling asleep 😂) Nick was absolutely wrecking with his Trust hand cannon, the best carry I've had for some time whilst we were running around chasing Guardians to shoulder charge the shit out of them. Even 'Kampy' was picking off Guardians and capturing zones like no tomorrow. We must have had about 6 Mercy Rules enabled. Scoreboard were continually like the pic below. Destiny always reminds you how solid it feels just to hop in and play. GGFG bitches
-
I think they've already lost many players @NCA-Paendrag, and the others are not fully leaving Destiny, just waiting for new content. Based on releases upcoming the larger base I think will come back in Penumbra. At least the Gambit changes in the meantime should mean we have chances to get some people back. If its enjoyable as Iron Banner last night, then that has every chance of happening.

EA Remove Sponsored Review After Honest Criticisms!
GazzaGarratt replied to J4MES OX4D's topic in Shooters
So they're saying he didn't comply with some disclosures in the contract with EA Game Changers. It would be better for EA to come out and say specifically what it was if they're adamant it was not taken down because it was negative. Not sure how it can be just reuploaded just without the watermark of EA Gamechangers and be fine. Hmmm. His review is below, I'll be watching it shortly. -
Yeah, but as you were gonna break the game into small pieces rather than complete it 2 more times I dont think it's the end of the world watching all 3!😂👍
-
Yeah, I'm kinda worried too. Almost could mean 1 of 2 things. Either they want to cause suspense and give chance to more secrets happening as they happen (like Apex) OR they don't ti hype up content that's likely to not last long or be enjoyed by everyone. I hope it's the former. They have said there will be non-Gambit content as well but sure would be nice to know what it will be on the lines of. I read a tweet by Gothalion that mentioned that they could be holding back content for Penumbra and go all out later in the year due to the other games being released around this time. I must admit Titanfall 2 clearly shown that timing is everything to get players playing.

With the talk of Anthem Endgame being a significant point right now, I've found this infographic that shows what Division 2 will have. The stronghold and raid seriously interest me a lot and having a further new faction at endgame to add will definitely keep the enemy factions fresher for longer. I'd like to understand more about the 'Invaded' elements and how much of a variance to repayable missions they'll be. Overall, a good first view of what it is to come.

Full auto shotguns taking a huge nerf! Good on them for trying something different. Might check out the Legend of Acrius in Gambit for a runout. Also, Gambit will get: Better invasion spawning New Blocker types with different health Round 3 Primeval Sudden Death That final round speed sure is needed to inject the fun back into it. Most people, me included were getting tired of super long matches. It also sounds like Medium blockers could be the future with annoying Captains having more health than the previous Knights.

THIS WEEK AT BUNGIE – 2/21/2019 8h - dmg04 This week at Bungie, the Drifter is preparing for a turn to lead the next season. We’re nearing the end of Season of the Forge. Guardians have plundered the Black Armory of its secrets and weapons. Shaxx hosted Crimson Days and Lord Saladin is watching over the final Iron Banner of the season. Before the Drifter takes center stage, we’ll be hosting a Raid-Along livestream featuring Scourge of the Past. If you’ve ever wanted to know what it’s like to build a raid from the ground up, this is your chance to peek behind the curtains here at Bungie. Members of the Raid Test team will be fighting the good fight, as designers, artists, producers and more lend commentary on taking an idea and creating the greatest challenge our game has to offer. Alright, Alright, Alright… To get Gambit primed for the Season of the Drifter, we have been working on some Quality of Life improvements We’re changing the way this little game is played, based on our own experience as players and a lot of feedback that we’ve collected since Forsaken launched. Today, Senior Designer Robbie Stevens is speaking on behalf of the team to take us through the changes you can expect on March 5. Changed the third round of Gambit to a Primeval rush sudden death. This will speed up Gambit matches overall and add a change of pace to the final round. Overhauled how we choose the invader spawn location and increased the number of invader spawn points for each map. This should greatly reduce the chances of spawning very near or in direct line of sight of an enemy Guardian. Implemented Idle Protection which means that players that remain dormant for too long will not receive end-of-match rewards or Infamy points. The Triumph “Light vs. Light” can now be progressed by killing any Guardian using a Super, not just invaders. This makes attaining the Dredgen title a less daunting task. Adjustments to Blocker types by deposit tier: Small Blocker = Taken Goblin with less health than the previous Phalanx. Medium Blocker = Taken Captain with more health than the previous Knight. Large Blocker = Taken Knight with more health than the previous Ogre. These changes arrive with the Season of the Drifter. To get you ready for the change in seasons, we’re enabling Triple Infamy for the final week of Season of the Forge. Triple Infamy Start: 2/26/2019, 9 AM PST End: 3/5/2019 Are you looking to become a Dredgen and impress the Drifter? Or maybe acquire a few weapons to round out your collection? Wins, losses, and bounties will all reward you with increased Infamy throughout the week. Back to the Sandbox Alongside the Gambit quality-of-life changes, our Sandbox Team will be fine-tuning some weapon archetypes to refresh the gameplay experience in Destiny 2. The following is a quick preview of some changes coming with Destiny Update 2.2.0, with developer commentary from Sandbox Designer Victor Anderson: Linear Fusion Rifle aim-assist values will receive an adjustment to reduce effectiveness at very long ranges. While Queenbreaker has high aim-assist values by default, we discovered an issue where it was not honoring aim-assist values that applied to other Linear Fusion Rifles of the same archetype. This resulted in Queenbreaker having over double the intended aim assist. Linear Fusion Rifles will receive a 10% damage increase in PvE to compensate for the above changes. Shotguns will receive a damage multiplier in PvE activities, effectively doubling their damage. The Legend of Acrius is an exception to this. Full Auto rate-of-fire bonus for Shotguns is now +10%, down from +100%. In addition, it no longer increases the Shotgun pellet spread. Default rate-of-fire values for have also shifted: Aggressives are 55 RPM, up from 45 RPM Precisions are 70 RPM, up from 55 RPM Lightweights are 80 RPM (they were erroneously stated to be 90 RPM previously) Rapid-Fire 140 RPM, down from 200 RPM (they were previously natively 100 RPM, but due to the intrinsic full auto, actually had 200 RPM) Also reduced base damage for Shotguns across the board to align with their new rates of fire on a per sub-archetype basis. Ammo reserves for Shotguns were re-evaluated due to the increased efficiency of having more damage per shot. The duration of the Mark of Vengeance has been reduced from 15 seconds to 8 seconds The way players refill health after a successful kill has changed. Before, it restored all of your health and the overshield refilled over time. Now, the health refills over time alongside the overshield. This should give a leg up when encountering situations where multiple people are fighting one person with the One-Eyed Mask equipped. Vengeance will no longer trigger for players in Super. This was making Supers far too potent. A new season means a new reality in combat. Keep up the chatter, and we’ll keep curating the Sandbox so that Destiny adapts to the way you play! They’ll Be Your Guide Navigating the various destinations of Destiny can sometimes be difficult, whether a snag occurs when following a quest line or an enemy fails to appear in the world. The Player Support Team is here to shine a light on the right path forward so you can get you to the loot you’ve been hunting. This is their report. “Mint Condition” Triumph: The “Mint Condition” Triumph is not unlocking. “Forged in Fire” Triumph: The “Forged in Fire” Triumph is not unlocking. “Master Smith” Triumph: The “Master Smith” Triumph is not updating for Rare research frame completions. “Calculated Trajectory” Triumph: The “Calculated Trajectory” Triumph and medal do not trigger in Iron Banner. “The Eternal Return” Emblem:The emblem “The Eternal Return” is not updating each time players conquer Dûl Incaru in the Dreaming City. “Senior Recruiter” Emblem: The emblem “Senior Recruiter” is not updating for Refer-a-Friend referral completions. “Black Armory Devotee” Bounty: The “Black Armory Devotee” bounty does not progress when using non-frame Black Armory weapons. Prime Engrams do not count toward this quest step. Vendor rank-up rewards and Cryparch-purchased engrams do not count toward this quest step. Fated Engrams and direct-purchase Exotics from Xûr do not count toward this quest step. Engrams left in activities that recover to postmaster do not count toward this quest step. Year 1-style Legendary and Exotic engrams that slot into players’ inventories and require manual decryption do not count toward this step. These are very rare, but are still available from some sources. With just 12 days between you and Season of the Drifter, the team is hard at work dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s on Destiny 2 Update 2.2.0. Before we go, I wanted to share a quick preview of something that the Hunters among you have been asking for. If you ever found yourself thinking, “It would be awesome if I could see my entire cloak when previewing shaders,” we have some good news for you. Update 2.2.0 will make a slight change to your view when inspecting cloaks in the character screen. We’ll have more patch note previews leading up to Season of the Drifter. Until then, have a great weekend, and we’ll see you in the wild.

Gutting! Have you managed to find the end cut scene on YouTube just so you can watch it? That would annoy the hell out of me too! P.S. Clearly that was added at a later date after I read it so it's now deleted, cheers for the heads up!

Just found out the hard way you have to charge the damn thing with the Selectfire Mod....

I don't want to spoil the game now I've made my mind up so I'll likely pass to not ruin any bit of content that's in it.
