  1. I wouldn't wait that long tbh. The hype seems real regardless of how Randy can mess up any type of communication that spills out of his mouth. Equally, i'm not naive to see that there's many fans of Destiny that were OG fans of Borderlands before it came out. Could swing a large portion of player base their way.
  2. There's 2 schools of thought going on for this. 1 is that is amazing how community feedback has changed this so quickly and we get a Sonic we deserve but also 2 is how the hell will they do it with no changes to budget and less than 6 months to go so a massive concern on the developer wellbeing side of things. You don't want to see someone ran into the ground for something like this but equally I don't think many would be able to get over how shitty Sonic looks and give it a piss poor rating regardless on how good the movie is.
  3. I aint sure Phil. I'm waiting for a few reviews to come in first.
  4. Stream that bad boy!
  5. Event Title: FG Raid-A-Long Event Author: GazzaGarratt Calendar: Destiny Calendar Event Date: 05/05/2019 08:00 PM to 05/05/2019 10:00 PM We've talked for a while for some raids so here we are This is a chilled raid to start getting back into them again and help others complete raids (even myself) that haven't completed some before. To be clear, if its not completed in the time it doesn't matter. We aren't looking to put people under pressure here, we want to people to feel like they can learn a raid and help each other, providing they are willing to learn of course. Let's see who is around. I'll put some more times up for next week as well if you can't make this one. FG Raid-A-Long N.B. If viewing this via the FG App, please visit the Calendar event via browser to RSVP. Thanks.

  7. I don't believe this is dead by any stretch but the kicker is the content or very lack of any new content to put it bluntly. I bought the battle pass but there really isn't anything in it. They have explained they don't want to upset the balance of the game too much so won't make many quick sandbox changes but ironically thats the thing that shouldn't be touched much, if at all. Its why many people love it, I think it ranks number 1 currently for its overall FPS gameplay. Problem is, Fortnite can just release a limited time mode with Marvel just like that and Apex hasn't really seen anything whatsoever. I'm pretty much feeling like they weren't ready for this game to praised highly enough and they geniunely didn't have a plan to update content much with this game. Now they have to so they can keep the player base. Would love to see another map and some objectives to complete like Fortnite does. Hell, because of the challenges that my son needs I end up getting engrossed in a few games of Fortnite every week.
  8. I think its about time to open the floodgates. This will be a separate thread to the other one so this can be used for all spoilers and people wanting to talk about the Avengers Endgame and whats happened. It was physically and mentally hurting me every day that passed that I hadn't seen it. So much so, I ended up buying one ticket to the cinema on the latest showing a few days ago. Never have I ever been to the cinema on my own but it had to happen and i'm super glad i've now watched this. What a movie. For a fan of Marvel and the little links between each character it was brilliant. I'd argue that it felt like more of a celebration of the Avengers team and especially the original crew rather than an amazingly epic film. Don't get me wrong it is a fantastic movie and i'd give it a 9.5/10 but don't be surprised if people that aren't fans and haven't watched most of the films say its a bit long and probably think its more like an 7/8. @TigerBurge, you called it Chris. Iron Man was literally the one to start it off and it was a great but gut-wrenching end to these films. The best bits for me were clearly Captain America wielding Thor's Hammer and watching everyone come back into the fight. That was amazing to see, just all the gold rings appear, making the whole cinema shine bright and the best group of superheroes to walk in together as one. The nostalgia of them using time travel in the way they did I thought really worked. I'm usually switched off by time travel as you can pick holes in it everywhere but the idea on how it went back to sections within films we've already watched was great. I wasn't touched by the ending of Black Widow as I thought I would be. Equally, Hulk was great to start with but i'm just not sure it worked fully because he became more in the background for the most part. Marvel was not in at all but I guess it wasn't so much about her and more about the mainstay of the last 10 years. For some reason I didn't expect Captain's ending. I was happy he was alive but then for the twist at the end it was a sad one. I don't think anyone can play Captain America ever again. He is the Cap'n. The last section hit me hard. Bitter sweet most say but I suppose all good things come to an end. I was happy with how it went. Now I can look back across 22 films and think this was one of the most enjoyable film experiences I've ever had. Excelsior!
  9. Oh yeah, Salah missing that sitter and hitting the post pretty much nailed shut the comeback.
  10. If you want to take the one shining light of the whole thing so far its got to be SFX that have been integrated. Same when he does his spin off the car. For a half a second, it looks incredible and then he opens up from his sonic ball shape. Balls.
  11. Happy birthday @Deaththewolf32! We hope you have an awesome day my friend 😎👍
  12. I've watched a tiny bit of gameplay today and I must admit it looks like they've done a great job. Initial feedback i'm hearing is the shooting has been done right this time whereas on previous Borderlands games they were a bit clunky. I only played a bit of BL2 so I can't really comment myself on that. This could land really REALLY well in September against not much competition either.
  13. Do you think you guys will test it out?
  14. Really nice to see a game like this do well but in reality I just won't buy it unless the multiplayer side of things was a whole lotta fun with people here. Looking at some of the videos it's very bright and colourful and i'm a big fan of the sound and voiceover for the story. The sale is on until 9th May so for only just over a tenner i'm beginning to change my mind whilst writing this.
  15. I can be the second man if needed
  16. Wowser. That's full commitment to a game that I didn't think was possible. Have the Guinness World Records got in touch? There's been ones given out for far more random ventures. If not, lets do him a certificate 🤪
  17. Nice one Space! Any recommendations out of those that you've already played?
  18. Might sound familiar to some new era pop addicts too.
  19. They said they wanted to see what a global change could do in a free event lasting 3 weeks. Whilst I think most people that understood what to do were having fun in the first 24 hours of PvP, you can see why you can't have something like that for a long period of time. It impacts too many people's progress on certain quests and activities. I've not really been playing any PvP since I heard about this. Thankfully PvP will be back to its usual self next Tuesday. I still need to get back on and get Arbelest, even if its just for my collection of dusty Exotics.
  20. Well, Liverpool a few months back could've won 3 to 4 trophies. After last night's 3-0 drubbing against Barcelona, they could end up with absolutely nothing. I don't think they'll be many football fans sending their support to them.
  21. Didn't think it was that bad but then again I don't usually watch a lot of live streaming anyway.
  22. Never, EVER, give up Dan. Sometimes we all need to take a minute or 5 minutes to really appreciate what we've done. Too many people live in the future and can easily forget how well they've done and how much they have changed for the better. This thread perfectly shows how much of a strong minded and willing individual you are. We all get setbacks, life isn't perfect (but then it would be boring wouldn't it ). The point is, you have to got up off your arse and you are not willing to accept your current career path. Many couldn't even make that call, let alone update your CV, apply for some new jobs, research into your new personal career path and get interviews and assessments. You are only one interview away from the person on the other side of the desk seeing your mentality and potential and giving you a chance. And you'll take it i'm sure. Make sure you keep reviewing your CV ahead of going for each job. Make sure you tweak specific words that are in the job profile you are going for and link them into key sections in your CV so you can show on paper you are naturally designed for that role. Keep. Going. You've got this far when millions haven't got past the first hurdle. You're farther ahead than you realise.
  23. Good find Gary, definitely will have a gander at these on the way to work next week. Not too long either.
  24. Thanks @Spacedeck, at least its this year which works for me. Could be a good early Christmas present for my me, er, I mean son.
  25. That's a great find McNasty, gonna share that one with my boy so he has some more games to play that are free.
