  1. Good result for Spurs last night and I'm really chuffed with the scorers especially Scarlett. A ray of hope in a miserable season so far.
  2. Some more Read Dead 2
  3. Dino Crisis 1+2 now available on PC via GOG Dino Crisis Bundle on GOG.com WWW.GOG.COM Dino Crisis Bundle includes: Dino Crisis Three years ago. A scientist died in an acc
  4. Spurs 1-2 Leicester. Another pitiful result and performance. Ange is on the thinnest of ice imaginable and Levy too. Probably the worst manager in 30 years at the club and greedy Levy should've left after the stadium was built if he wanted to cash in proper.
  5. Revisiting Red Dead Redemption 2
  6. I certainly spent a few quid at Thorpe Park and on the Ferry to France playing this in the arcade! Absolute classic but having not played the original remake, I'm not sure how these translate especially with controls. Along with Crazy Taxi, Silent Scope and Time Crisis, it's impossible to recreate the brilliance that arcade machines used to provide. I did have this on the Dreamcast back in the day along with the light gun but I don't remember too much about it.
  7. Creative Assembly are in a bit of a shambles - they always seem to have 3 games and 15 DLC's in development at once and it's hard to say which game is being made by which internal team because that has a hugely defining impact on the end product. Warhammer is their mainline team but then 'fringe' staff are churning out the likes of Britannia, Pharoah and Troy and the difference is night and day. It was reported last May that they were working on a Star Wars game as part of a trio of Total War titles but it's hard to say which one will be the main one and the others being shafted as side releases. Either way, it's basically a new game every year and £100+ worth of DLC. No thanks Sega.
  8. Is that the same guy that ‘supports freedom of speech’ who got so offended by the truth being revealed about his fake gaming status, he removed several popular content creators paid verifications on Twitter to suppress their reach, visibility and affect their livelihoods?
  9. It's not propaganda - it's one thing taking pictures of waving and (out of context) gestures of people (who are equally unpopular in their own right) but Elon's 'salute' was a full-blown mimicking action and this is off the back of political and societal stances he houses, so whether there was any malice or if it was just an awkward moment from a immature 53 year old, it doesn't really set a good example. This happening off the back of him getting into petty squabbles with gamers and then trying to ruin their livelihoods because they outed him and a dishonest person. If I go into a room of important people and shove my middle finger in all their faces, I can't turn around and say it was a harmless misunderstanding, unintentional and I didn't know how it would reflect.
  10. Our first PC was an IBM Aptiva in 1995 but despite it being an amazing multimedia device, it wasn't ideal for gaming as it only had 75mhz and 8mb RAM along with a 500mb drive. Most of my games were from 1993-97 with the likes of Doom, Heretic, Stonekeep, Actua Soccer, IndyCar Racing, Championship Manager 2, Stonekeep, Virtual Snooker plus the original Tomb Raider. I had a N64 and PS1 on the side so I didn't mind not playing the latest releases from 1998 where you really needed at least 133mhz and 16mb RAM. Windows 95 was awesome though and it was one hell of a step up from the shitty RM Nimbus PC's we had at school! We finally got a new PC in 2000 which was cheaper than the £1800 Aptiva but it was pretty high-end at the time. The backlog I had was insane - had the Half Life collection to sift through plus new titles like Deus Ex, SWAT 3, Project IGI and the PC came with Age of Empires 2 which I played the hell out of. I picked up all the Championship Manger games - 3 up to 04/05 and also classics like Commandos 2, No One Lives Forever, Call of Duty, Battlefield 1942, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Thief 1+2, Unreal Tournament, Quake 3, Counter Strike and Max Payne. The choice was absolutely insane and it was a great time for gaming because of the sheer potential and endless possibilities. A game from 5 years ago is no different to now but back in those days, the level of innovation in hardware and software was so big, you'd go from Doom to Half Life and all the games in between. The industry now is brickwalled and stagnant.
  11. I don't think I've seen someone have such an embarrassing fortnight before - firstly getting exposed by teenagers, then getting shitted on by his gaming allies and then behaving like this in front of the world. He may have deleted all his Twitter squabbles but this will stick forever.
  12. Ange has to go now. Spurs are an absolute shambles and the relegation zone isn't all that far away especially if teams below pick up a win or two. Losing to a weakened Arsenal was one thing but then losing to a poor Everton side a week after almost getting humiliated to Tamworth has to be the final straw.
  13. Hilarious! Can't wait to play this.
  14. It gets worse Absolute manchild
  15. Nintendo Switch 2 Release Date Likely Not Before June - IGN WWW.IGN.COM Nintendo has now revealed the Nintendo Switch 2 and, though it tried to remain coy with a vague 2025 window, may have subtly suggested it won't arrive until at least June.
  16. Woman scammed out of £700,000 after believing she was dating Brad Pitt METRO.CO.UK
  17. I used to have a huge collection of DVD's but ended up offing most to Music Magpie to declutter years ago. I'm tempted to start rebuilding again as streaming just feels so soulless and even if you 'own' a purchase that is streamed, it can still be taken away from you at any time down the line *cough Sony. Some DVD's used to have awesome extras on them especially the James Bond films.
  18. What's funny is that his level 98 character died and then he ended up having another one 3 days later pop up and it was in-game whilst he was giving a live talk to some Germans🤣 The man has spent his entire life taking credit for other people's work but it's hilarious how offended he gets when people question his gaming skill and not his backseat input with Tesla or Space X that is dominated by very smart people who don't get any recognition whatsoever. Man should just continue focusing on being a useless father, smoking weed and getting on any gutter podcast possible for attention. He's even got extremely rattled after humiliating old photos resurfaced of him that he keeps trying to scrub from the internet using technologies that belong exclusively to law enforcement! People are really beginning to see what a prick he is and that he has zero personality and a fragile ego to boot.
  19. Ubisoft have pushed back the release date once more - probably to avoid conflict with vastly more popular games like Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and Monster Hunter Wilds. Unfortunately they have decided to choose the 30th anniversary of the Tokyo subway attack to release the game which is probably the final insult to Japan after already pissing them off already so much, with bullshit meaningless translations and making in-game assets out of prohibited cultural artifacts they didn't know the meaning of, which caused national outrage. Let's not forget this was the company that included hip-hop music in the trailer because they thought it would be 'appropriate' as the protagonist is black despite the game being set in the 16th century! I don't think there is any company on the planet dumber than Ubisoft and the sooner they get taken over and culled the better. Another total shitshow from them.
  20. It's powerful granted, but I wish they would stop using so many artificial elements to inflate performance figures. I miss the days when a card could be tested in its basic form and it would get 60-120fps and a 50% performance boost on the last gen and everyone would be happy. Nowadays its all DLSS + Frame Gen and other factors and sure, a game like Cyberpunk may push out 300fps at ultra settings but with all the back-end upscaling on the card, it's literally just 1080p upscaled 4 times to buggery and the image may end up looking blurred or of a lower quality than if you just ran everything maxed out on a 3080 with all upscaling factors turned off and the resolution flat-native. Yeah, the frames may be cut by two thirds and Nvidia's marketing gets blown to shit but at least it's an honest depiction. Literally going the same way as the iPhone and these gimmick performance bolstering elements exclusive to cards are actually covering up bad optimisation or giving a false experience just to convince users the card is better than it is. I always turn off all this shit even if it means getting XXfps less because I know the image quality will be an accurate representation of the game and not hardware bloat. Nvidia announces the RTX 50-series, led by the $1,999 RTX 5090 with 'twice the performance of the 4090' | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM With more AI acceleration than ever even the RTX 5070 is claimed to offer RTX 4090-level performance for $549. The 5070 also looks a mild improvement on the pretty lame as it is 4070 but the price isn't too bad. Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5070 at $549 — How does it stack up to the previous generation RTX 4070? | Tom's Hardware WWW.TOMSHARDWARE.COM Same price, different architectures, and some big tech changes.
  21. There's Civilization 7, Monster Hunter Wilds and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 all coming out in the next several weeks. Nothing ground-breaking but it's something early on at least. There's also Mafia The Old Country, Death Stranding 2 and Doom: The Dark Ages plus the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake. Kinda wish there was a new Resident Evil out this year or even a remake but that doesn't seem to be the case and I expect GTA6 will be good to go towards the end of the year. I just hope devs aren't scared off about GTA releasing in Q4 and it becoming really dry industry-wide with 2026 push-backs and calendar clutter. Also could mean other titles are rushed for release in the summer. There's probably more happening in Q1/2 this year.
