I finished Watch Dogs and only did a couple of side missions and a game of chess before I stopped playing it completely. Great while it lasted but it didn't warrant the hype. The review scores the game largely received were fair but it's funny how so many sites in hands-on previews failed to convey the negatives until the reviews when everyone had bought the game. I remember the days when the gaming media were on the gamers side and were honest and transparent from the start. I think this and Titanfall were massive long-term disappointments and I hope Destiny doesn't go the same way. The next gen so far has struggled to keep people engaged in games and I hope the likes of Destiny and Advanced Warfare can keep the gamers interested for a good duration.

I will probably get this on the PS4 as uPlay is totally wank on PC. I did enjoy the third game particularly the story but it was a bit bland when you finished it. The radio towers and taking over the bases were a bit tedious in time. I'm not 100% pumped for this game as it looks a bit samey but I am keen to explore the world and try out the new gadgets. It doesn't look like a massive step forward though.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R trilogy is top of my list. I definitely think this will go on sale. I also want to pick up Crysis as I have the physical copy but can't be arsed to dig it out Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition, Payday 2, Dragon Age Origins, Borderlands 2, The Witcher 2, Saints Row 4, Batman Arkham Origins, The Wolf Among Us, Papers Please, Torchlight 2, Tomb Raider, AOE II HD, South Park plus a fair few more. Most of these games have gone in the sale previously but I haven't had the money to buy or time to play but I'd take a stab that 99% of these will be reduced in the summer sale and possibly for bigger discounts that previously seen. I love how you can pick up games dirt cheap that you know nothing about and they turn out to be a blast!

I think it's one of the worst FPS games I have ever played. I have never seen such generic and dull gameplay in my life. The AI is horrendous and the mechanics are terrible. I died 16 times in 20 minutes on one mission and then went 2 missions without getting shot. The game is a complete mess and I wish I didn't waste £25 on it. Anyone that paid full-whack for it I feel bad for. Not even worth £5.

Looks like Schumacher is finally out of a coma and on the way to recovery. Excellent news. I'm not gonna lie but I actually forgot all about this for the last couple of months but news is coming through that he's off to rehab for further treatment.

The Sparrow bike reminds me of the covenant vehicles from Halo and it handles just as sluggishly. I've actually been on foot most of the time as Bungie + Vehicles = frustration although the movement is a bit bland and basic.

105 inch 4K curved TV will do nicely! Cost about £20,000 now but in 3 years time they'll be down to £999 when they're mainstream. We have a 3D TV downstairs that started off at £5995 and 18 months later I picked it up for £799 Thank god 3D was such a flop!

What is the point of it and can I turn the bloody thing off? If I'm playing with the lights out on a game like Watch Dogs; all I get is the controller reflecting off the TV screen the whole time. Can get a bit annoying especially when it's really noticeable.

I kinda agree. I think Titanfall is the only shooter that has truly mastered the perfect control feel. It is just so smooth and flawless and feels incredibly satisfying - even better than COD and that's saying something. Destiny feels like an old Halo game in terms of the movement and the engine. The alpha has put me back on the fence as to whether this game will be worth it. Too many next gen games have died almost immediately and whilst Destiny may have some considerable longevity; I don't know if the community or people will be motivated to stick with it. Titanfall had the best beta I have ever seen and two weeks after release it was dead. Destiny has a lot more meat to it and I'm happy you can ADS unlike Halo but I dunno if it'll keep me engaged until Xmas. For all that I've seen through the hype; I'm still waiting to see where this $500,000,000 went. We shall see though..

Ubisoft's always demonstrate their games in such a clean and tactical fashion but you know the community will fuck this up whenever possible when it's released. The Division will go the same way if DayZ is anything to go by - instead of surviving and helping people it'll be a bunch of squeaky twatbags killing you for no reason. I love Rainbow 6 and it's great to see it back but I'll have to get a team together before I buy it else I'll get some French or Russian dickwad trying to blow the banisters off the stairs.
