  1. Gotta check this shit out
  2. I've finished by getting Space Engineers for £10.04 in the end. Didn't feel like a sale purchase as it was only a minor reduction from the £14.99 standard price but that's the cheapest this game is going to get for a very long time and it seems it has made good progress and has a bright future.
  3. ^and it's gone back down to £17.99 Last chance saloon in the sale now. Nothing really new; just a compilation of what's been reduced in this sale already at their lowest rates. Gutted S.T.A.L.K.E.R hasn't dropped so I may have to get a cheap physical copy online instead. Not been the best sale either - the winter sale last year seemed to have greater reductions on some games including CS:GO which dropped to £2.49 at one point.
  4. Sadly it's gone UP to £24.11 from £17.99 Sale = my arse
  5. Wolfenstein The New Order £17.49 Shadowrun Returns £2.49 Chilvary £3.79 Portal 2 £3.74 Baldurs Gate 2 Enhanced Edition £4.74
  6. I think they owed quite a fair few million for a select few of historic transfers even back when they were in League 1 and they still had to pay £20m outstanding for the new academy they built. I don't remember the exact figure they had to pay out but towards the end of the last season and after the owner died; they were in the red by £50m or thereabouts. As Jordie said; I think they'll struggle to attract anyone to the club and it's a real shame as they've seen many top young players in recent years and not forgetting Walcott and Bale in their ranks. I certainly think they'll be one of the favourites to go down next season and they will need to try and club together at least 6-7 players to fill the void.
  7. System Shock 2 £1.04 I'm shocked Sweet flash sale deal
  8. That's strange because I've always considered myself to be his #1 fan I'm not gay but I do find him strangely attractive
  9. Not my usual type of shit but this is some good shit from Sheeran
  10. Watch Dogs £31.99 (flash sale)
  11. This little chap
  12. That's what we all say Still 4 days to go...
  13. I quite like re-reading the James Bond books. It's weird but I never watch porno films through twice though
  14. Arkham Origins £5.74 now
  15. £18 is a pretty decent price and there is some good mods out there for it now. I paid £35 on release when there wasn't even 1 campaign mission completed
  16. As long as the logo doesn't contain any visible trademarks; I can't see why a firm wouldn't do a custom t-shirt with the logo on. Just don't give them any ideas as to what it is and all should be good. There wouldn't be any repercussions to you or the business if a few t-shirts are printed for yourself and I don't think any awkward questions will be raised either. It's mainly sellers on eBay that print 1,000+ of Call of Duty t-shirts and other valuable protected brands that cause a stir. I remember seeing something on the news ages ago in the UK when a small company was doing videogame memorabilia clothing and they sold tens of thousands of t-shirts for £12 or so with trademarked brands on Fruit of the Loom blank t-shirts and they made a fair few hundred thousand out of it. That's the shit they're clamping down on but any independent shop or online business who you send the logo to may just do it without raising an eyebrow as long as you don't give them the full explanation of the score
  17. Glory to Arstotzka!
  18. Sim City 4 is down to £2.49 now from £4.99 and I don't think it will drop further. I've been burned a couple of times with games getting further reduced so I'm having to gauge when to pick my moment to buy a game and if it'll drop further. I've only got Prison Architect £6.79 Papers Please £3.49 and Payday 2 £4.59 + 99p for a DLC pack which were great deals but I'm seeing a lot of tat that was on sale for less around Christmas time. I'm still toying with Saints Row 4 for £7.49 but I'm holding back as it may drop even further. I've probably lost £4 on further discounts that might not seem much but another game could be had for that Still awaiting S.T.A.L.K.E.R reduction...
  19. Clever guy Can't wait to see this get crazily modded when it's out on PC!
  20. Something that caught my eye on the shoutbox yesterday was the movie talk and I was thinking about the classic films over the past few decades and then this new brand of modern turd-like shite that we see today. I can't put my finger on why I don't enjoy many modern movies but most don't ooze that quality and I'm not sure why. I find myself avoiding most movies post-2000 on TV under the assumption that they will be a turn-off. For one; I am not wowed by special effects. Sure they beef up scenes with spectacular crash, bangs and wallops but knowing that such scenes are essentially created using this method; they don't leave me jaw-dropped in the slightest. Some modern actors just lack that screen presence also along with overall quality in performance - even the most well-known popular ones. I don' know whether it's because they are part of this modern society where off-screen most of them you see in their true lights but it doesn't seem to compare to the old days where actors were under the radar until you actually saw them in films in a variety of roles. It's not easy to explain but I just don't feel many mainstream actors today have that extra bit of edge and performance quality. I also think some of the modern day writing and scripting leaves a lot to be desired particularly in the comedy genre. I don't think films and their narratives have been done to death and completely exhausted but I don't think I've seen a comedy that will go down as a classic in decades to come. There is too many generic and predictable films within comedy that are cheesy, weak and ultimately cheap - it's like we've seen them all before but this breed of modern day ones have no real iconic moments and they just stagger through with some uncomfortable one-liners. The same could be said for other genres also. There seems to be this emphasis on promotion and media hype that overrides the actual quality - not too different from the gaming industry in all fairness but even films that have a strong cast just seem to be lacking originality and quality. British films have been lacking since the late 90's, Hollywood has got into some bad habits and even Asian films have lost their way in recent years. Films like The Wolf of Wall Street and 12 Years a Slave were excellent but back in the 70's 80's and 90's you were really spoilt for choice as top quality films were being churned out frequently.
  21. I've been toying about playing this for some time now on PC but the reviews on Steam are all of a mixed bag and I don't know if I have the time or energy to give it a looking at. For anyone who plays it on the PS4; would you actually bother giving it a second glance it if there was a better selection of games out for the system and is it just to fill the void until some decent games with longevity come out? I only have FIFA, Infamous, Watch Dogs and MGS V: GZ on the PS4 but if it wasn't for the selection of games on PC on still have to sift through; I'd still be on the fence as to whether i'd bother with Warframe even as a F2P.
  22. ARMA III £17.99 Dark Souls Prepare to Die £4.99 Nether £2.19 Saints Row IV £7.49 Insurgency £4.94 Surgeon Simulator £1.74 FTL Advanced £2.79 Hitman Absolution £2.99
