  1. Last day of the Prem season! It's been a crazy campaign but let's hope there is one twist left... Norwhich beat Arsenal 20-0 and stay up
  2. The cast: Harry Gregson-Williams doing the music. He did some work on COD 4 plus the MGS games so this is gonna be awesome particularly with the new sound engine.
  3. That's the tags, premium tags and unlocks. New weapons video
  4. There were 1,112 on PC last night with 49 of us in the new DLC playlist 9,000+ on BO2 and a steady 80,000 on BF4. There was 500-odd on Ghosts this morning and trying to get a game in was like finding a nun clubbing in Ibiza.
  5. Ghosts isn't number 1 and has never been number 1 anyway looking at the worldwide charts last year and this year so far. Titanfall is number 1 in 2014 and Infamous 2nd. COD Ghosts is 14th on PS4 and 39th on Xbox One this year. Last year was dominated by GTA V which sold practically twice the rate of Ghosts on both the PS3 and 360. Also Ghosts got a boost with the £10 upgrade for generation transition which also counted as an extra sale. These charts are single unit based copies sold to customer whereas what IGN and the rest of the media have been focusing on is copies shipped to retailers where the publisher actually makes their money. Ghosts has sold a lot of late to shops because Activison are offloading their copies for peanuts to wholesale according to the manage of my GAME store. So if Activison ship two trillion copies of COD; that doesn't mean 2,000,000,000,000 have been bought by actual people. So despite the 'lack of options', more people have bought the exclusives of the next gen leaving COD Ghosts for dust deep down in the charts. Even FIFA and MGS have outsold Ghosts on the PS4. Activison can ship as many copies as they want but at the end of the day; the gamers know what they want and it ain't fucking Ghosts
  6. My final game last night was on Behemoth again and I killed this poor chap 3 times in under 10 seconds because of the layout and the spawns. I just kept moving forward and caught him spawning each time. I had to apologise in the end. Agree with the above as well - luck rather than skill is the agenda for the day on practically all the maps and you could be on a nice streak and then you get stitched up by a spawn. I may give DOM a go on these but I fear it'll just be a clusterfuck on another level on each map. Unearthed is possibly the only map that plays remotely fair but even so; it's riddled with spawn issues and is far too cramped. I quite enjoyed the Onslaught map pack but this for me has to go down as the worst map pack I've ever experienced in Call of Duty and Ruins is just the worst map I have ever played on. What the fuck were they thinking!?
  7. Just played on Behemoth and fuck me the spawns are criminal on that map for TDM and KC. It's a weird map - just one long narrow symmetrical rectangle with a few elevated points. You spawn either behind, in front or sandwiched in between enemies. It's a truly terrible experience. If you haven't bought this already; DON'T! Collision is definitively the best of a bad bunch - probably the worst maps in the franchise I've experienced.
  8. I've played matches on Ruins, Unearthed and Collision and I must admint; I am not impressed in the slightest. These maps look good and have some nice colour and lighting but fuck me they play very bad indeed. Ruins is full of campers with IED's. The terrain is horrible and makes it hard to see players. I was expecting more from Collision but it just feels really weak. Plenty more opportunities for IED's on corners here. Unearthed or Dome if you like is more open but nothing that stands out. Kinda feels like a portion of Prison Break has been pasted in. Just Behemoth left and I'm not expecting to be wowed very much with this one but you never know. Either way; a waste of money and I can't see myself getting back into this game now. Will play a bit more later but on the whole; very disappointing.
  9. UT will be F2P http://mp1st.com/2014/05/08/epic-games-unveils-unreal-tournament-completely-free-community-driven/#.U2vL-vldV8E This could be bigger than Bieber.
  10. Meet the hackers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TT6OMP9vv98#t=53
  11. From DICE Dragon’s Teeth, as DICE describes it, is “all-out urban warfare in new multiplayer maps taking place in war-torn cities locked down by the Chinese army
  12. Dragon Age Origins complete £4.99 Bioshock Infinite £6.59 Super Meat Boy £2.39
  13. Dying Light which was on the fence for attendance will not be appearing and has been put back until February 2015 at the earliest
  14. ESO has been delayed by at least 6 months on console
  15. Mark Gormley Legend! Special effects to die for.
  16. I can see the shields being used quite a bit on Metro and possibly Locker for good old classic door blocking. I may have to choose 'no rules' servers from now on as if I see any shield noob door camping; I'll have to get out the C4/RPG/RGO/Frag/M320 and basically any else that goes BOOM! These could be very useful if used correctly on the likes of Rush for protecting planters and defusers but as this is a FPS game with a fair few idiots in the community as expected; I can't see many people using them wisely. It'll be a good laugh to have them on board though!
  17. Any fans of SOD? New one which is military themed is out soon!
  18. I picked up someones Ripper the other day (that chap must have had a season pass, the poor sod) and that gun is ludicrously and ridiculously OP! It's pretty fun to use though but I fear tomorrow, everyone will be on the ripper bandwagon and it will be pure chaos.
  19. Nice! Let me know what you think of it Sennex and I may take a punt on it.
  20. This DLC is out tomorrow for PS3, PS4, PC and basically every system not called Xbox. Played Ghosts the other day was bored shitless instantly but still may give this DLC a go. Did anyone pick it up already and what was it like?
