  1. I've seen that loads of people have been VAC banned on COD Ghosts for no reason yet the 'bans' are not showing on their profiles. I think there has been an attack on the anti-hack services.
  2. Skyrim Legendary Edition £6.79 AOE II HD £3.74 The Stanley Parable £3.99 Dragon Age Origins Ultimate £4.99 Papers Please (must buy) £2.09
  3. Skyrim Legendary edition is currently £6.79 in the sale
  4. Payday 2 has come down to £4.59! Can't believe this will cost me £49.99 on PS4 soon PC version it is!
  5. I actually forgot the OUYA existed I heard about the idea ages ago and the general gist I got from it was; mobile gaming on a console. Pretty silly concept in all honesty! Mobile gaming should be on a mobile and console gaming should be on a proper console. Fusing the two is daft. Whoever backed it at kickstarter level = Why the hell would you want to spend £60+ on playing Angry Birds on your TV with a controller? +holy fuck is that 50 dollars for a POUYA controller!?
  6. Prison Architect has gone down to £6.79 wonder if Steam will credit me as I bought it a couple hours before in the sale for £10 State of Decay £3.74 The Walking Dead Season 2 £9.49 Bound By Flame £17.99 Game Dev Tycoon £2.79 Amnesia £3.37 Bulletstorm £3.74
  7. I've picked up Papers Please (£3.49) and Prison Architect (£9.99) so far which are supposed to be two very good and addictive indie games. Not much else I'm interested in at the minute and a fair few games currently reduced I already own. Desperately wanting STALKER bundle to go down though.
  8. Sunken Dragon map. Hopefully doesn't play like Flood Zone because it certainly looks like it!
  9. System Shock 2 £2.79
  10. It's not much of a sale but it's as cheap as it'll ever get! Game is getting better gradually and as Harrison said; it's a good investment.
  11. Bioshock triple pack for £9.99 The Orange Box £7.49 Papers Please £3.49 Crysis £4.99 Lots more upped in the Under £7 section also
  12. First batch has been pretty crap and I already have a few of those games or am not interested even at the cheaper rates. 10 days to go and plenty more to look forward to though. The flash sales every 7 hours I'm keeping a close eye on.
  13. Stalker Clear Sky is £3.99 but still waiting for the other two to drop in price before I buy the lot.
  14. SUMMER SALE UP AND RUNNING! Prices likely to drop further and include many more games. I'm holding back at present but I'm lining up my targets. 18. AOE II HD is £3.74 today
  19. Alien Colonial Marines is £3.74 if anyone is desperate/stupid Hope the sale tomorrow is a bit better than this
  20. I can't decide on an all night session of booze with the England game tomorrow or save the money for the Steam sale. I'll probably do both and go on Steam pissed and buy anything and everything that's in the sale. I think last year I bought DLC (whilst drunk) for a game I didn't even own

  22. EA also don't offer physical copies to their latest games now so this will be a £50 download on Origin which I don't think I'll be willing to do and that will be for the bog-standard edition. I price this game at £24.99 tops under the circumstances. Whilst it is fun and something different; BF4 offers way more in every department plus we still have Dragons Teeth and Final Stand DLC to come which will keep people going who are willing to still overlook the problems way into the new year and beyond. I think Hardline offers something not seen before in the series but I don't think it should be integrated into Battlefield because it isn't part of the typical BF code. 2142 was decent but ins't fondly remembered. I still believe they've used the IP to drive interest and sales rather than calling it something like 'Cops v Cons' or 'Police v Crooks' for example. Although it's an alpha; it doesn't feel like very spectacular and in all honesty; it's more of a mod. £50 is a lot of money these days for a game and whilst I got my monies worth out of BF4 in the end; I don't know if Hardline offers something on the level expected in this day and age of gaming for such a outlandish RRP.
  23. Vaas was one of the most memorable characters in gaming for me. Just incredibly well written and performed. The actor was so good; they modeled the baddie on himself! The bases were fun and challenging although a bit samey and as long as you didn't alert them for reinforcements; it was a bit easy. I definitely agree with the bases being taken over again by spawning enemies just to keep you on your toes. Far Cry 2 was annoying because enemies respawned if you went out of the area by a few yards on the whole island. This was the biggest problem in that game for everyone as you spent 10 mins clearing the way only to come back after 30 seconds to find all the enemies had respawned in exactly the same positions. I'm glad they eliminated this in Far Cry 3 in certain areas but when you blitzed a load of bases; the island became soulless and very quiet indeed. The towers were just this weird puzzle of getting to the top by crouching, ladders and jumping up stairs and barriers. They become progressively harder but more tedious in time. Hope you don't have to do the same in FC4. Perhaps overtake a bases communications or something where you kill two birds with one stone instead of base raiding and then annoying tower climbing. I desperately want to see more of the island and not just the base which has been in the gameplay footage.
  24. I finished Watch Dogs and only did a couple of side missions and a game of chess before I stopped playing it completely. Great while it lasted but it didn't warrant the hype. The review scores the game largely received were fair but it's funny how so many sites in hands-on previews failed to convey the negatives until the reviews when everyone had bought the game. I remember the days when the gaming media were on the gamers side and were honest and transparent from the start. I think this and Titanfall were massive long-term disappointments and I hope Destiny doesn't go the same way. The next gen so far has struggled to keep people engaged in games and I hope the likes of Destiny and Advanced Warfare can keep the gamers interested for a good duration.
