  1. WW3 was the loose backdrop for MW3 so I can't see Treyarch doing their own interpretation within the same era.

Kvitova annihilated Bouchard 6-3 6-0 in the womens final in 55 minutes. Feel sorry for the posh twats they paid north of £5,000 for their ticket Shame for Eugenie but if it's any consolation; she's fit
  3. Yeah, I don't think I could tolerate a third futuristic game on the spin. This franchise used to ooze diversity but now it just seems to be all this fantasy nonsense created by the devs portrayals rather than focusing on a specific era which people can relate to. Going back to the typical World War setting may upset the younger quickscoping noob-tubing generation which COD seems to be in-tune with in recent years but I still believe they can design a spectacular FPS game with classic hallmarks brought into today's generation of consoles. Treyarch only let me down with their shitty connections but their design and community relationship is usually spot-on and they know what they gamer is looking for so I have complete faith if they go this way.
  4. Leaked on Amazon. If this is 100% legit; my faith in life will be restored
  5. I see EA were charging $4.99 for demos due to a 'system error'. Bullshit EA. Crafty bastards got cocky and the wrath ensued..
  6. Anyone get this shit yesterday in the end? I opted against it after how bad Devastation was although I am gutted not to be playing on Favela again. Not really worth stumping up the cash for one map and the others don't seem all that good from what I've seen.
  7. I watched Me Myself and Irene again last night - brilliant film!
  8. Framerate issues from the E3 demo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itNFYTmXTw8#t=165
  9. Looks like Liverpool and Barcelona will be opening Suarez talks tomorrow with a deal that could be done by the weekend. The Premiership is going to miss him for his football ability but good riddance for all his unsavory antics. Wonder if Sanchez will go the other way? Liverpool have certainly been busy in the transfer market down on the south coast so far and Adam The Llama is a good signing for them. Suarez will be hard to replace but it's best in the long run getting shot of that psychopathic mentalist.
  10. Games like COD and BF have the luxury of charging full price for a game, a season pass which costs practically the same as the game and then have Microtransactions on top to boot. People fall for the whole package and more while the industry just laps up the grip they have on the dedicated gamer. I think they need to strengthen consumer protection so gamers can get refunds will ease even long after purchase if they are charging for the product in the first instance. It would hopefully give devs and publishers a kick up the backside and force them to delay or release a game at a satisfactory state instead of relying on these get out of jail patches and fixes. F2P is growing but there is still a grotty stigma attached to such games that they aren't good enough and because they don't pay; they are unwilling to invest in microtransactions for something they got for free. I don't mind paying £40 for a game as long as it works. I'd never get a season pass until I know what the DLC is and if it's worth it. I blew £80 on BF4 and thankfully got a refund on the Premium portion but I was screwed in getting money back for the initial game. I absolutely hate the season pass culture though in many games these days. Too many have them and most of the content is withheld and fucking deadful. I think it's proving fatal that people are fully committing themselves to a game until it's proven in quality and from a technical standpoint. I am going to stand back from AW before buying until I can gauge how it fares and then make a decision on whether I'd commit to the entire package but doing it from day one is risky and just plays into the publishers hands.
  11. Peter Moore is a fucking tosser. This should read; 'core gamers are uncomfortable paying full price for unfinished products' He's banging on about going into the golden age of gaming when they have Battlefield HarDLCline on their books and a broken Battlefield game along with many other severely damaged IP's. Oh the ignorance! Moron.

Blandy Murray got thrashed 3-0! That makes him Scottish now and not British
  13. I'm quite liking Space Engineers so far. Haven't played too much but there is real scope for potential and creativity. It wont be as big as Minecraft but it certainly will prove popular. Hope it holds down my interest for a long time and the developers keep adding a flurry of features.

  15. I watched Die Hard for the trillionth time. That shit never gets old
  16. Gotta check this shit out
  17. I've finished by getting Space Engineers for £10.04 in the end. Didn't feel like a sale purchase as it was only a minor reduction from the £14.99 standard price but that's the cheapest this game is going to get for a very long time and it seems it has made good progress and has a bright future.
  18. ^and it's gone back down to £17.99 Last chance saloon in the sale now. Nothing really new; just a compilation of what's been reduced in this sale already at their lowest rates. Gutted S.T.A.L.K.E.R hasn't dropped so I may have to get a cheap physical copy online instead. Not been the best sale either - the winter sale last year seemed to have greater reductions on some games including CS:GO which dropped to £2.49 at one point.
  19. Sadly it's gone UP to £24.11 from £17.99 Sale = my arse
  20. Wolfenstein The New Order £17.49 Shadowrun Returns £2.49 Chilvary £3.79 Portal 2 £3.74 Baldurs Gate 2 Enhanced Edition £4.74
  21. I think they owed quite a fair few million for a select few of historic transfers even back when they were in League 1 and they still had to pay £20m outstanding for the new academy they built. I don't remember the exact figure they had to pay out but towards the end of the last season and after the owner died; they were in the red by £50m or thereabouts. As Jordie said; I think they'll struggle to attract anyone to the club and it's a real shame as they've seen many top young players in recent years and not forgetting Walcott and Bale in their ranks. I certainly think they'll be one of the favourites to go down next season and they will need to try and club together at least 6-7 players to fill the void.
  22. System Shock 2 £1.04 I'm shocked Sweet flash sale deal
  23. That's strange because I've always considered myself to be his #1 fan I'm not gay but I do find him strangely attractive
