  1. ^Agree with Techno. Battlefield 4's destruction can dramatically have a massive impact on the gameplay of a map from the start and when the destruction occurs which changes the way the map appears and plays. Levolution is a bit messy and glitchy at times plus it can be predictable but the dynamics can change significantly meaning camping areas get obliterated and routes get blocked off. Cover can also be diminished which can drastically alter your approach to situations on the map. COD on the other hand uses the most basic and static designs even with the so called 'dynamic' aspects. These didn't really do much for gameplay with lampposts falling over and the typical spots and flanks always remain the same which isn't really a bad thing. You an play a map on a mode hundreds of times and it doesn't get old. Games will always be different even if you're utliising the same playing style. Learning a map and the way they pan out is still fun in COD. I don't think developers of COD and BF have the knack to design a system where maps can be generated either. There is too many glitches occuring on their flat base maps most of the time so coding in maps with aesthetically changing landscapes could be a horror show. I'm pretty tired of the usual shit from the likes of COD where you get 15 flat maps and then the usual DLC roll-out. Counterstrike Global Offensive has over 1,000,000 players a day on PC and over 20,000 user created maps for free. Some of these are of a much better quality than most of the premium ones we see in COD and are created by players who have considerable experience in playing FPS games. I'd like to see a feature or programme implemented in COD where you can create and publish your own maps upon approval. I just feel there is still this huge corporate gap between the community and the franchise even with the close-knit relationships COD has with so many YouTubers. Most of them are promotional puppets but I think it would be good to have a greater input from the players rather than some shitty survey they recently released. Shit maps can be disappointing especially with 90% of them in Ghosts but generated maps could add a whole level of shit into the mix. It's an interesting concept but I'd be more than happy just playing on 12+ really good and familiar maps and building knowledge and playstyles tied to those than worrying about what I'm walking into next match.
  2. Liverpool seal £8.5m deal for Loic Remy. Bargain. Sunderland have bought Fabio Borini for £14m.
  3. TWAT ALERT I personally cannot stand the guy and he represents everything bad about the modern pop industry. He cannot sing, he cannot talk properly and his lyrics are cringeworthy. He fits in a treat then People buy his shit, he has fun doing it so that's the main thing - I just wish I didn't see it or listen to it on a daily basis as I can't escape one day without hearing his name.
  4. Assassins Creed Black Flag £9.99 Splinter Cell Blacklist £4.99 Rayman Legends £6.24 Far Cry 3 £3.74 Rocksmith 2014 £9.99
  5. I think Destiny will do well but my only concern would be that it wont stand the test of time come November when everyone jumps on the COD bandwagon regardless of how good it is. My worry about Destiny like many games we've seen so far is that it will just die a death overnight. Hype is more brutal than ever but Destiny seems to justify the hype but COD always has the knack of turning heads for the foreseeable. I think games like The Division could be the ultimate title to change gaming as it's something on another level. Destiny is unique for this generation as it's good quality and is coming in at a time where games are few and far between. A COD killer would be more than welcome as the more better games, the merrier. After how shit Ghosts was; AW has really stepped it up and that's what COD needed. They sat pretty too long on dated technology and a lack of forwarding ambition. Games like Destiny and AW will set the bar for what is expected. Considering that these titles were in production before Ghosts; it just shows how dreadful that game was. Aside from the hype; will Destiny beat the likes of Borderlands and Halo? Certainly the latter but time will tell. It's actually a real shame that the last gen was dominated by COD actually because the likes of Borderlands was an infinitely better experience and probably the best co-op game in existence. Shame more people didn't know about it because seems we're all crying out for a good game in the genre yet there was one sitting pretty years previous. Hope Destiny is more than just a benchwarmer until November but I think this will be a good alternative away from the usual COD and all it's predictable annual nonsense.
  6. Wolfenstein The New Order £17.49 on Schteem
  7. It's just been announced that the PS4's have once again outsold the Kinectless Xbox One's for the last month. In light of them dropping the XBTV; they really need to consider dropping the price further; not just to try and sell more units but to try and justify the price of £350 without Kinect and now Xbox TV. They can't keep removing once key USP's and still charge the same. I could probably club together a more powerful PC for £300 so south of £300 is where the Xbox One should sit else anything above is scandalous.
  8. http://kotaku.com/its-games-games-games-as-microsoft-plans-to-shut-xbox-1606726469 Just three months earlier http://kotaku.com/microsofts-promising-big-plans-for-xbox-tv-1560043778 LOL!
  9. PHP, SOE, COCK; I can't understand all this modern day technical terminology I'll stick to posting pictures of boobs and insults to Microsoft instead
  10. Because they don't have foreigners making them look good for England
  11. ..Apparently shutting down their Entertainment Studios which covers TV. The console is barely recognisable now as it's stripped bare of all the alleged USP's that were supposed to entice people to buy it. All that's left is games and there ain't much of those in the pipeline. What a complete fuck up of a console
  12. I have no idea what is in the pipeline on this site but may I suggest; No fucking French people! Many thanks
  13. Kroos signs for Real Madrid and England slip to 20th in the rankings behind Bonsia and Costa Rica We're only 7 places ahead of Scotland now

  16. Just played on Pearl Market and that map is pretty good. It's fairly small and dominated by alleys and rooftops along with space on the outer sides of the map. Pretty well balanced and good fun. So overall, Dragon's Teeth: Propaganda - Excellent map. One of the best in the Battlefield series. Looks amazing, plays incredibly well, completely balanced, great open areas and enormous fun for all players and play styles. Lumphini Garden - Nice open map. Not too small but no large either. Has a really nice open feel with lots of cover elements also. Flags are well positioned and everything feels spot-on. Pearl Market - Good map. Not aesthetically stunning but it plays really well. The rooftops aren't as dominant as they were on Floodzone which is good and most battles are ground based and perfectly balanced. Sunken Dragon - Fucking shit. Worst map ever. Fuck you DICE.
  17. In contrast to the brilliant Propaganda map; Sunken Dragon has to be the worst map I've ever played on in the entire Battlefield series. It looks hideous, plays terribly and is riddled with glitches. It's also very camper/sniper friendly and unbalanced. Spawn trapping is rife too. The B flag is a catastrophe. It's like a cross between Dawnbreaker and Flood Zone. I'm taking this shit off the server browser.
  18. Lumphini Garden seems a really good map. Just gotta try Pearl Market and and Sunken Dragon. Really happy with Propaganda though - has to be one of the best maps in Battlefield.
  19. Looking forward to seeing more of this game. The E3 presentation looked really good but it was completely scripted to promote the tactical side as much as the general mechanics. Will be nice to see the game in action live and how it pans out.
  20. Will do! I've been to the Bricklayers a few times; usually squashed in the corner on the sofa but they had loads of football flags, scarfs and stuff on the walls and ceiling if I remember rightly. I haven't been up there since the riots so I dunno how Tottenham looks now but to be honest; it didn't look too good before 2011 I'll try and grab a general sale ticket to one of the matches. I think the QPR game is bronze but will probably go on open sale as everyone is on holiday that time of the year. Got into the Liverpool game back in August 2009 getting a ticket on the day so I'm sure they'll be summat available in the coming months. Can't make the Shalke 04 friendly cos of the poxy Oxford game that day but I'll see if I can grab something when more tickets go on sale.
  21. Can't wait to try Lumphini Garden next. Just played regular Conquest as opposed to Chain Link just to get a feel but it strikes me that the mode can cause balance issues if a team has parallel flags locked down tight. Regular Conquest just seems more sensible out of the two. I've heard from a few people that Pearl Market is a bit of a stinker. Looks a bit like Floodzone in texture/layout terms and that is a bit of a turn-off. PS on PS4; EA have frocked up - $200.00 for the DLC? LMAO!
