Not official but it comes from a fairly credible source and the COD cakesocking YouTuber's have jumped on it. These 'leaks' happen every year but not usually this early so I can only assume with the huge influx of players returning to Black Ops on the XB1 and PS3 and with WW2's popularity nosediving; Activision have pulled their predicatable PR piece where somebody in the gaming industry/community leaks all the fringe details of the upcoming game. They haven't used Drift0r this time around though as that would be far too suspicious but it's still the same old marketing - gathering early hype when interest is waning in the franchise and masking it as some major internal leak of sensitive info. If Marcus Sellars is to be believed and there's probably not too much reason not to; Black Ops 4 is modern, BOTG and will also appear on the Switch. ^Blackwake is awesome fun - so hilarious to play and it looks great. Really need to get back on that to see how its developing. Got into the beta of Ship of thieves and whilst all features weren't present; it was quite a bland experience and very watered-down (excuse the pun) compared to its ambitions. It looks stunning at times but it seems repetitive and could get boring fast. Also beware of Microsoft paid actor shills pretending to be gamers promoting the game...

It's a shame that Modern Warfare 2's player counts are broken as it would be really interesting to see how many are playing that and Black Ops 1 now. It's also a shame that the COD games have censored the player counts and even cut the leaderboards to cover up any embarrassments after Ghosts had less players than BO2 the same weekend after lauch. There is no doubt that more people are playing the old games collectively than are playing the latest one. IW and MW:R were dead after December and WW2 doesn't seem to be massively popular either. 2009-2011 with MW2 and BO were definitely the golden age of the series and you'd always see 500,000 to 1.5m on at any given time. BO doesn't feel dated in the slightest either - it does everything and more than WW2 does today without the supply drop bullshit and competitive focus. The maps are so much better too. MW2 has a lot of hacking problems now which is a shame but it's still as much fun as it ever was when you do get into a stable match.

Out in a couple of weeks - hard to gauge how good it truly is or could be but definitely worth keeping an eye on for reviews and feedback

160,000 on XB1 last night but the biggest surprise was the 140,000 on PS3 At this rate Treyarch will be making new DLC for it

Elder Scrolls Online is supposed to be really good these days. Can be got dirt cheap and no subscription either. Good expansions too.

Yeah, I think the $anchez/Mickey swap deal was the best outcome for all parties but Man Utd will be the happiest overall as they ridded a player surplus for requirements in exchange for a top player with only his outlandish wages to cover which could be done through global marketing and sales alone. Arsenal get a reasonable player in return and offload someone that doesn't want to be there without losing him for a free in the summer. Could've been a lot worse and embarrassing for them had Sanchez walked for nothing where even West Ham and QPR could offer him a contract Isn't Mesut 'offside eyes' Ozil out of contract too this summer? If so; I would have thought there would have been drama with him going on this window too.

Forgot this game existed and is coming out in a couple of months! I've had all the Far Cry games minus Primal but I'm not a massive fan of the series although I did quite like 3 a few years ago. Far Cry 4 was very disappointing I found as despite the size; it still felt quite claustrophobic with too many verticle/mountainous areas rather than a nice open world to play in. Far Cry 5 does look more up my street albeit a bit barmy but should be good fun and worth keeping an eye on in the coming weeks

This comes out finally in the UK in a couple of months - it's a bit like a wacky Shenmue. Very highly rated game since its release in Japan a long time ago and could be worth a look as we wait for Shenmue 3!

I managed to pick up Injustice 2 standard edition for £11 so I grabbed that but definitely open to exploring the others games too. DBZ looks entertaining but I may wait to see if I can get that cheaper and the only real thing putting me off SFV was the DLC BS in the original version but now the Arcade (GOTY ver basically) edition is out; that makes it a more attractive purchase. I may leave Tekken 7 aside - although I grew up with the series and the new game is supposed to be decent; the story elements aren't quite as deep as Injustice or as interesting as SFV and jumping into the online element now would no doubt see my arse spanked!
