  1. Nice cash grab EA. I loved this game 10 years ago and may just get it in the Steam Sale for a pittance instead of this 'remaster' which should be named Burnout Paradise Reshaded
  2. Having a $24,000 gaming setup and dedicated server architecture on his doorstep helps! Him and other popular streamers on this game and other titles always get the best level of service so the game appears as flawless as possible to the watching audience. PC version is decent if you have a monster PC and luck in lobbies. A game like Arma 3 which has maps three times the size and can populate a far greater number of players and assets can run exceptionally well and really puts this technical shambles to shame which is why frustration is really growing in the PUBG community.
  3. I said on the Steam forums that Konami will probably charge money for in-game survival items and save game slots so it's of no surprise. I've followed this company's decline and greed for years especially when developing this sorry excuse even for a cash grab. Had the game not been so blantantly awful; I'm sure Konami would have pushed their luck further by charging gamers for starting a new game every time they died or something to that effect. .
  4. RIP Ears
  5. I'm not a fan of Fortnite but it's so much more polished and well-produced compared to PUBG that it really puts Bluehole to shame. The optimisation is still pretty dreadful and there's not much sign of sweeping improvements. The game released in such a pathetic state on the XB1 that even 25-30fps heavily downsampled is seen as a monumental achievement now and its this very generous and naive mindset which has seen the PC version stagger through each update without major improvements as promised. If it weren't for the community market making me so much money; I would have removed this game from my PC long ago. They only released 1.0 so they could bolster their marketplace activity without scrutiny in early access. It's basically H1Z1 all over again at this rate which is a shame as this had stunning potential.
  6. I was speaking about the PC version here.
  7. Tottenham will lose to Rochdale on Sunday guaranteed
  8. 75,000,000 players in China have registered for the two versions of the mobile app which is over 3x the amount that have the game on PC globally. If this gets rolled out worldwide within the next 18 months; it'll probably be the biggest game of all time. Asians are mental for mobile gaming and already were the biggest market for PUBG on PC. Mobile version does look very good and is nowhere near watered-down as people were anticipating. Both the PC and Xbox versions need some serious work and I'm not sure if that'll ever materialise - they certainly are having difficulty on low to mid systems and if it wasn't for Chinese users plaguing the servers; the player counts would be nosediving from all the frustration. Thankfully the game hasn't been out a year yet but with it now being 'finished'; there is no excuse and right now, it's not is a satisfactory state really.
  9. I bet he'll struggle to score against Panama though 0-0 for that guaranteed
  10. Looks and runs better than the Xbox One version
  11. Very impressive figures considering their only half decent game is Overwatch
  12. Shame it's only 'temporary' but YouTube will never cut the chord fully it seems. After his painfully predictable and PR driven comeback where he fronted that suicide documentary that was clearly written for him to act out; it was clear he was always going to return to his same arsehole ways. He will always find a way to line his pockets no matter what and it seems this z-list boxing match against KSI that will be milked all year will be his next big banker. Christ, I remember when West Coast US had talent like Eastwood, Stallone, De Niro, Streep, Hoffman and Hepburn. With this generation we're left with Paul & Paul, Lele Pons, Keemstar, KSI, Woah Vicky and the next wave of the Kartrashian clan. This is the future!
  13. I just wanna spice up my life with DLC like this. A good combo for the Mel C character would be - slame it to the left if you're having a good time, shake it to the right if ya know that you feel fine and go round. I'm expecting a big reveal at E3
  14. Still better value than anything in Destiny 2
  15. I'm just waiting for the Spice Girls DLC
  16. Got this in the post and played and hour so far and it's such an incredible game! The environment is simply stunning as are the Colossi. Hard to believe this was originally on the PS2! If a game like this was made by todays developers; we'd have a cluttered HUD, waypoints, a mini-map in the corner of the screen, automatically regenerating health, fetch quests, collectables, character skins and probably a season pass along with microtransactions. It's games like this that really show how garbage a lot of ones we see today reallyy are along with devs, pubs and general ethetics.
  17. Supersampling on the PS4 Pro is the big feature especially for those that haven't got 4K TV's yet. It may hit framerate on a few games but stable ones could see their image quality upscaled considerably.
  18. Rochdale beat Millwall 1-0 to set up a 5th round tie against Newport County unless Tottenham can cause an upset I reckoned the Swansea v Notts County would be a close game - currently 8-1
  19. Christ, FIFA 19 will have a Battle Royale mode in next. That genre is going to saturate quicker than survial did at this rate.
  20. Scored very well in the media and people seem to really enjoy it but I'm not a fan of these really grindy and repetitive open-world games so I'll still give it a miss methinks.
  21. Watford 4-1 Chelsea Looks like Conte is having a 'Mourinho season' as he called it. Next up; the sack
  22. Not official but it comes from a fairly credible source and the COD cakesocking YouTuber's have jumped on it. These 'leaks' happen every year but not usually this early so I can only assume with the huge influx of players returning to Black Ops on the XB1 and PS3 and with WW2's popularity nosediving; Activision have pulled their predicatable PR piece where somebody in the gaming industry/community leaks all the fringe details of the upcoming game. They haven't used Drift0r this time around though as that would be far too suspicious but it's still the same old marketing - gathering early hype when interest is waning in the franchise and masking it as some major internal leak of sensitive info. If Marcus Sellars is to be believed and there's probably not too much reason not to; Black Ops 4 is modern, BOTG and will also appear on the Switch. All pretty viable and it ties in with other rumours. We'll see though https://gamerant.com/call-of-duty-2018-black-ops-4-rumor/
  23. From the makers or Heavy Rain - one to keep an eye on for sure
