  1. This is what happens when you bring Call of Duty employees into your brand Literally the same style marketing shit. The one good thing about BF even at its worst was that it never copied COD's formula. Now with specialists, battle passes and other gimmick shite, I hope it doesn't get devalued to those tacky and convoluted standards. I cringed when I saw the edition chart yesterday and thought I'd get Anthem PTSD at one point try to work it all out! For sanity sake I wont be posting that mess.
  2. Control FREE on the EGS Control | Download and Buy Today - Epic Games Store WWW.EPICGAMES.COM Download and play Control at the Epic Games Store. Check for platform availability and price!
  3. EA could fund the entire development of this game and it's future upkeep just through the selling FIFA Ultimate Team packs for 30 days. They could even make it F2P and rely on battle pass purchases to make money and still make a fat profit. There's even an £99.99 ultimate edition on PC and I dread to think how much that is on the PS5 and what kinda worthless shit it includes.
  4. Some good information here
  5. I'm not sure if the old gen consoles would be able to handle crossplay even with the game heavily watered-down. Can't believe they are charging £60 for an inferior product too but there's probably a free upgrade in there. £70 for the PS5 one has become industry standard so EA are just exploiting that ceiling but at least it'll be the proper next gen version with all the bells and whistles. PC one is £50 on Steam but hopefully I'll be able to pick it up through an authorised retailer elsewhere for around the the £32-35 mark. That is the best platform to play a game like this on. If DICE pull a Cyberpunk and don't reveal any old gen gameplay in the coming months then people should avoid it. If there is no beta on these machines then it'll ring alarm bells but I think we'll see plenty of gameplay before people take the plunge.
  6. Bit late but at least this good news for Overwatch 2
  7. One thing I'm not too keen on is the Specialists - why not keep the usual class system with player roles instead of introducing gimmicky OP characters that look silly and have stupid names? It's not quite as daft as in COD but it's sad to see them resort down this route.
  8. That information is coming shortly however it appears only 128 player lobbies are for PC and current gen consoles so crossplay is a possibility between those but the old gen of PS4 and Xbox One will be stuck with their own servers limited to 64 players on smaller/watered-down maps according to press documents.
  9. Early information:- The max player count has been doubled to 128 on PC and the new consoles The 128-player maps are divided into sectors containing clusters of control points; capture all the control points in a sector to control it Classes (engineer, assault, support, etc) are now categories that contain specialists. Each specialist has a backstory and unique gadget, but can carry any gun. Gadgets we've seen: A grappling hook, a health/revive gun (think Doc in Rainbow Six Siege), an auto-turret (think Team Fortress 2), a movement sensor (to catch people sneaking up on your while you're sniping) 10 specialists at a launch Purchasable battle passes; four seasons and four new specialists per year Post-launch maps will all be free "Levolution" is back, baby. What we've seen: tornadoes lift players and vehicles into a vortex, a sandstorm blots out the sky, a space rocket launches (or maybe explodes) Everyone has a wingsuit Some vehicles will have spotter seats (a small detail but I like the sound of it) No battle royale, but there are some mystery modes No singleplayer campaign
  10. Very OTT and doesn't explain anything much. I'm definitely happy with the setting though and it could open up some fun gameplay elements. October 23rd release date.
  11. Just tuned in bang on time for the trailer and after a stupid intro, they've put up a 60 minute countdown timer. Fucking idiots!
  12. Top of iTunes All Genres - my faith in humanity is somewhat restored😂
  13. Mirrors Edge from 2008 - game holds up remarkably after all these years from a visual standpoint.
  14. Any chance of a Battlefield subform in time for tomorrows reveal? I think it may finally warrant one for the first time in nearly a decade! Cheers!
  15. We've had so many keepers in recent years but PIckford is the only one that's had a consistent run and is proven to a degree at this level. We pissed about too much trying to find the ideal one but now Southgate has to stick with his choice he's used in many competitive games. The rest are clearly competent keepers but none have truly stated their claim for the shirt, nor have had a cemented run in the first team.
  16. Finally someone’s had the bottle and done the honourable thing
  17. My starting XI probably would be:- Pickford (GK) Stones Maguire Trippier James Chilwell Mount Henderson Grealish Rashford Kane What I think he will play:- Pickford (GK) Walker Stones Mings Shaw Rice Mount Grealish Rashford Kane Foden
  18. Ben White of Brighton to replace Alexander-Arnold. Ward-Prowse and Lingard miss out.
  19. The aim now is to eradicate it as much as possible and get it under total control. There are still many people in Northern areas that need to be persuaded to get their first jab plus even with some low and incredibly encouraging figures, that still wont put the UK in a green light system with many other countries who are behind. Taking a few infections overseas could have a dire knock-on effect and the potential in unknown mutant growths could turn ugly if they manage to override the anti-bodies in the existing vaccines. I'd rather play it safe for another month tops than have a setback 3 months down the before winter hits. Having it in constant circulation unless herd immunity can be proven and set in stone could be dangerous in the long run.
  20. I had my first Pfizer jab yesterday and didn't feel a thing. Arm is a bit sore today at times but the whole thing was very easy. Great to see the vaccines being effective in preventing serious illness and reducing the numbers but this 'Indian' variant is a cause of concern as cases are shooting up. I'm not sure if restrictions will be entirely lifted on the 21st and I hope for once the government make the right call. I personally don't think they should completely but there's no reason to restrict everything to draconian levels like we've seen previous. The vocal minority will be enraged if things don't go back to normal on the 21st but the majority of people wont want us in a situation where we are having to go into lockdown-type situation in late July/August if we do press ahead with cases rising significantly now.
  21. Another pretty dire England game and another unconvincing 1-0 win. I was pretty surprised to find out that the Chelsea and Man City players had been excused this time which made the game pretty pointless once again. Debutant keeper Sam Johnstone was brilliant and made an exceptional save but that's not the kinda thing you want to be writing when playing the likes of Romania. Tyone MIngs I don't think is anywhere near the standard required and a better team would've capitalised on many mistakes or positioning errors from him and this wouldn't be the first time either for club or country. Rashford scored the penalty but looked pretty ineffective overall but Grealish looks very useful and probably deserves a start. Shaw was disappointing so I firmly believe Chilwell will get the nod. Ward-Prowse should replace TAA to bolster the midfield and to be honest, a couple of other omissions might not be a bad idea after the last couple of showings. Lingard deserves a spot really.
  22. Battlefield 6 appears to be set in 2042 and will adopt this title. Images certainly reflect a more futuristic setting. Beta this month Anyone remember Battlefield 2142 back in the day?
