Scotland 0-2 Czech Republic This was a tough game to call prior and I think a lot of people fancied the Scots under the circumstances but despite creating a few good chances, they were soundly beaten. The second goal from the halfway line was remarkable but I don't know what the keeper was doing. Scotland could've got back into the game but their finishing was incredibly weak and the Czechs held on comfortably in the end. What a goal

Described as Skyirm in space. They dropped a teaser trailer yesteday and the release is a very long way off. Feels like this game has been in development for an eternity now I'll keep my eyes on it but I still can't believe we haven't had any gameplay footage yet.

Lockdown easing delayed by 4 weeks in the UK. Annoying but it had to be done and it was scary to think we could've been back on course for 100,000 cases a day by mid-July. Hopefully this nips it in the bud once and for all and we can finally get it under control. I want everything to be back to normal as best as possible before the football season starts. India should have been red listed weeks before it was but as usual a week or two late has cost us severely going forward.

England 1-0 Croatia Hard fought and deserved win in the end. Started really brightly for the first 15, then went of the boil right up til half-time. Came out better second half and took our first significant chance since Foden hit the post early on. Managed the game well after that in some pretty tough conditions. I was a bit weary about the lineup and we did look a bit shaky at the back at times but it did come together and I thought Philips had a superb game. The first time we've ever won an opening game in the Euros!

Looks like he left the pitch awake and conscious which is a miracle in itself and a testament to the medical staff on scene. Also well done to the ref Anthony Taylor and the players for their quick reactions as every second counts

Turkey 0-3 Italy The Italians look very impressive - slick passing, relentless pressing and a strong work rate right to the very end. Mancini has certainly done wonders in turning them around after they failed to qualify for the last World Cup.

I reckon it took them about 18 months to iron out everything. The netcode was the killer but then silly things like invisible wall glitches with explosives were discovered and it just felt a further kick in the teeth. I do think it was reasonably playable after 6 months though and I had a lot of fun especially on all the maps and trying out so many guns. If they got it right from day one, it would have been a near-perfect multiplayer experience. There's so much riding on BF2024, they need to get it right straight away this time.

Looks like a twin-stick Diablo set in a cyberpunk universe. Definitely one to keep and eye on leading up to next month's release

It's basically named, generic OP characters who can use any gun and have their own ability and equipment - a blend of COD and R6 Siege from what I understand. I'd rather they just had the usual 4 infantry types rather that modelling it on Battlefront. Just a bit iffy of seeing balance issues come into play which are normally non-existent in this series.
