  1. Surprised they are taking Walker really - he only plays for City to meet the homegrown quota and I'd put him well behind Reece James and Kieran Trippier. Stones has had a positive season and it's gonna be a tough toss up between Chilwell and Shaw. Sterling has had a pretty dismal year and his consistency in an England shirt is always a factor. Phillips is nowhere near the standard required but Henderson and Mount will be a huge benefit to the team as will Grealish. Our attack looks very strong - we have perhaps too much depth but Rashford has really gone off the boil which will be a concern going into the tournament but the choice negates this. I'm still unsure of Foden - he's had blinders against Burnley, Everton and Fulham and has considerable talent but it might be a bit too soon. He tried hard against Chelsea but they disposed of him with incredible ease and he has yet to shine for England even against mediocre opponents. His style could actually be a determinant against more direct and effective play. It's always very hard to place England in ability terms and then you never know what team will show up. I just hope most of them can perform like they do for their clubs.
  2. Finished the game earlier - took about 44 hours to do the story and I did a lot of the side content too. Very pleased with the game in the end and it really exceeded my expectations. Such a shame there wont be a sequel really!
  3. Some more of Days Gone
  4. This is incredibly British
  5. Anyone tried this yet? Apparently it's already growing massively in popularity and has some serious potential. It's basically a dodgeball-type game and tremendous fun. I believe there is a free trial available on all systems and crossplay is included already. 10. Finally has a release date of December 7th and a new trailer
  11. Spurs in talks to bring Poch back as manager. His reputation has sunk after losing a one horse race so it could work out for all parties. Zidane and Conte both leave their roles so they'll be up for consideration too.
  12. I think this is an absolute disaster move. Amazon literally buying up anything they want because they have the means but not only is this bad for industry competition, they have so much bloat on their services, things could get cancelled or forgotten about and suddenly there is literally competition within its own service just to feature in prime Prime slots. It also opens the doors for them to milk and stale brands so I expect we'll see a James Bond TV series and future films will be stweemed. Soon Amazon will poach so much, classic films will only be accessible if you own cunting Prime. I couldn't give a shit about modern Hollywood trash but I don't want to see thousands of iconic films held to ransom through a back-catalogue. It's bad enough classic terrestrial comedies have been snapped up in recent years and put behind paywall channels. The Amazon acquisition will literally offer no benefit to the films either - the budgets will still be sky high and the personnel will remain the same. The only thing that could've been worse is if Facebook bought it.
  13. It's amazing how many big players at Man Utd fail to show up for the big games. United should be walking games like that 3 to 4-0. The entire population of Villarreal couldn't even fit into Old Trafford!
  14. Villarreal just went from the Europa Conference League Playoffs to the Champions League😂 Ole may very well be done after that.
  15. I'm not a fan of their open world format and it's a tragedy that a lot of other developers have adopted their generic design philosophy with things like waypoints, x-ray vision, radio towers and no punishment for dying. They clearly have a lot of talent for world design and some good engines for grand games yet they can never tell a good story or produce a well-paced and balanced experience. The latest breed of AC games is basically worlds that are too big which then have to be bloated with filler content and to top it off, they level-gait so players either have to do these crappy mundane tasks or pay Ubisoft not to play the game. The fact they don't offer an in-game XP scaling choice just shows their design is dictated by sheer greed. Days Gone just flows and although there are some repetitive aspects, most of the game feels fresh and unpredictable yet many Ubisoft open world games are littered with doing the same task 50 times over. I am now very hesitant to buy into non-masterpiece open world games because of the direction many of them have taken but it's nice to see Days Gone not fall into those traps and produce something that retains interest. Bigger doesn't mean better and Ubisoft will never understand that whilst they remain in this philosophy and they even said a couple years back that they were moving away from story-based games even with ones that require a story focus!
  16. Done about 20 hours so far and really enjoying the game plus it's getting better and better. It's weird how two of the most saturated and tiresome genres (open world/zombies) of the last generation can still provide a highly entertaining game without doing anything new or revolutionary. I like how the story is guided and you don't have to chase a bloated amount of icons sprawled all over a large map like we see in Ubisoft titles. Although it did get off to a slow start, there are some good missions popping up and the story itself is still intriguing. The characters are likable too and although the narrative and writing is nothing spectacular, it's still perfectly fine. The crafting and looting is simple so you don't have to worry about bashing a rock against a tree or eating a cabbage for stave off hunger for 3 minutes. Riding around is fun and the map isn't overly large so travelling doesn't become a chore. As an open world game, they've definitely found a good balance - something Ubisoft has failed with in many titles in recent memory.
  17. Interesting look at failed technology in recent memory - also a very good and highly informative tech channel
  18. Quite an entertaining finale to the season for the top 4 spot - Tottenham had to do Chelsea a favour but in the process they finished above Arsenal. At one point it looked like Leicester would grab 4th but Arsenal finish above Spurs for the first time in six or so years. Leicester bottle it again on the last day but they've had a good season unlike Spurs and Arsenal. Let's see if Spurs can match Sutton United and win the conference next year😅
  19. Some really cool choices Game is also 5v5 with only one tank per team.
  20. Atari 2600 - Nintendo Gameboy Nintendo 64 Playstation Dreamcast Xbox Gameboy Advance Playstation 2 Gamecube Xbox 360 Arcade Playstation 3 Nintendo Wii Xbox 360 Slim PS4 PS5 I think that's correct and in order.
  21. Days Gone PC version
  22. Played a couple of hours so far and it seems a solid port which is great plus it looks fantastic!
  23. First match in 15 months - shit result but it’s good to be back
  24. Harry Kane tells Spurs he wants to leave and I can’t see them standing in his way this year. Probably be the best for all parties.
  25. Beta footage leaked - probably wont stay up too long and it's potato quality as usual. Not sure what to make of it or what it's supposed to be.
