  1. My starting XI probably would be:- Pickford (GK) Stones Maguire Trippier James Chilwell Mount Henderson Grealish Rashford Kane What I think he will play:- Pickford (GK) Walker Stones Mings Shaw Rice Mount Grealish Rashford Kane Foden
  2. Ben White of Brighton to replace Alexander-Arnold. Ward-Prowse and Lingard miss out.
  3. The aim now is to eradicate it as much as possible and get it under total control. There are still many people in Northern areas that need to be persuaded to get their first jab plus even with some low and incredibly encouraging figures, that still wont put the UK in a green light system with many other countries who are behind. Taking a few infections overseas could have a dire knock-on effect and the potential in unknown mutant growths could turn ugly if they manage to override the anti-bodies in the existing vaccines. I'd rather play it safe for another month tops than have a setback 3 months down the before winter hits. Having it in constant circulation unless herd immunity can be proven and set in stone could be dangerous in the long run.
  4. I had my first Pfizer jab yesterday and didn't feel a thing. Arm is a bit sore today at times but the whole thing was very easy. Great to see the vaccines being effective in preventing serious illness and reducing the numbers but this 'Indian' variant is a cause of concern as cases are shooting up. I'm not sure if restrictions will be entirely lifted on the 21st and I hope for once the government make the right call. I personally don't think they should completely but there's no reason to restrict everything to draconian levels like we've seen previous. The vocal minority will be enraged if things don't go back to normal on the 21st but the majority of people wont want us in a situation where we are having to go into lockdown-type situation in late July/August if we do press ahead with cases rising significantly now.
  5. Another pretty dire England game and another unconvincing 1-0 win. I was pretty surprised to find out that the Chelsea and Man City players had been excused this time which made the game pretty pointless once again. Debutant keeper Sam Johnstone was brilliant and made an exceptional save but that's not the kinda thing you want to be writing when playing the likes of Romania. Tyone MIngs I don't think is anywhere near the standard required and a better team would've capitalised on many mistakes or positioning errors from him and this wouldn't be the first time either for club or country. Rashford scored the penalty but looked pretty ineffective overall but Grealish looks very useful and probably deserves a start. Shaw was disappointing so I firmly believe Chilwell will get the nod. Ward-Prowse should replace TAA to bolster the midfield and to be honest, a couple of other omissions might not be a bad idea after the last couple of showings. Lingard deserves a spot really.
  6. Battlefield 6 appears to be set in 2042 and will adopt this title. Images certainly reflect a more futuristic setting. Beta this month Anyone remember Battlefield 2142 back in the day?
  7. I also heard they were unwilling to extent the budget for his backroom staff who would be part of any appointment package. Looks like Spurs are going for a cheap season of mediocrity so Martinez will be the perfect fit. That's where my money is currently on 9/1 before Conte opened talks. Not sure why Poch would return especially if it's under weaker terms and more limited resources than before.
  8. From what I understand, he still has a residence in London and Spurs is still an attractive job and seeing that Conte needs one, it would make sense. It looks like Inter have some shitty Asian owners plus they and the rest of Serie A have been hit hard by the Pandemic so big names will likely depart the league altogether in the summer. Kane being sold may not be a big blow as long as there are guarantees that the money is invested back into rebuilding the squad. Chelsea lost Hazard, had a transfer embargo and then using that money, they bought 4 key players to win the Champions League and you feel Spurs are only a few players short of being right back up there in the league. Even with no lavish signings, Conte could probably turnaround their fortunes to a degree. If the out of touch ENIC lot have their way then it'll be Martinez for mediocrity. Cheap appointment plus he wont be begging for funds or hounding the board. Spurs need someone like Conte to really shake up the club and shit up the board!
  9. Trent confirmed out for 6 weeks so he will miss the Euros. England only have 25 other right backs to choose from now🤣 He hadn't played for England 7 games previous and had had a poor season so it's no loss and was a stupid inclusion anyway. Instead of trying to recruit a like-for-like player, just give the new slot to a deserved one like Lingard who is fit and has had a great season. We're already taking a huge risk by drafting in 5 unfit/injured players as it is and others who a lot of people have never even bloody heard of.

  12. He's a proven manager with plenty of domestic success and currently unattached so it's a great option. Martinez would be a cheap, unspectacular and safe appointment but from what I hear, the reception has been incredibly underwhelming within the club following his interview which was championed by the investment group leader rather (whoever that is) than Daniel Levy. I hear that Everton are interested in bringing him back too but they will first make an inquiry regarding the availability of Moyes at West Ham. The Martinez situation will also be plagued with tight timescales and red tape whereas Conte is readily available right off the bat.
  13. Sad to see TAA get injured but we have plenty of options and I'm not sure why there is so much concern. It was a pretty dull display overall but hopefully the other returning half of players will put on a better show Sunday against Romania. It's kinda annoying that both games have a huge player split rather than us being able to play our strongest possible 11 in a test. It also reaffirms concerns that Southgate still possibly doesn't know his best XI and when we aren't fielding a cemented team, we end up usually with wayward and uninspired performances like we did last night. Saka looks promising for sure but I still think it's too early for Bellingham. I think Southgate has utilised way too many players of late and we may end up going back to old habits of including any players just because they are English and have had a good few games that season.
  14. Mediocre from England so far against Austria at half time. Really not playing as a team - more like individuals. We definitely need that experience that the likes of Henderson brings. Can't see this being anywhere near the team that will play in the Euros though with James, Mount, Chilwell and Foden likely coming in right off the bat. I think TAA is by far the weakest right back and even LIverpool fans are saying he hasn't had a good game this season.

    Windows 11

Probably wont be Windows 11 or a totally new version but it'll be the most significant upgrade since Win 10. As long as they don't come out with any bullshit then I can't see any reason why there wont be a smooth transition. So many users left themselves behind with Windows 7 after some questions were raised when 10 arrived so they can't have a repeat of that.
  16. I really like Poch and it was a shame to see him go especially under the circumstances he departed however he didn't win anything, he finished 3rd in a two horse race and failed to build after reaching the Champions League Final. I think Spurs were below mid-table when he departed and never looked like they'd get going that season under him. Getting to the CL final was a remarkable achievement but it's not the tangible success that Spurs badly need. Getting consistent top 4 finishes was a fine and overlooked achievement though and that really bolstered the income although trophies is what really matters. Poch went to PSG where he was expected to win everything including the Champions League yet he failed to even win the League which is a personal humiliation for him. Suddenly his reputation is in tatters and Spurs are desperate - it's a good match getting them back together but I don't think it benefits anybody. Poch needs a new club with lowered expectations and Spurs need a clean break with an exciting and proven manager. I don't even think he could get Spurs a top 4 finish unless there is a radical injection of funds and some significant departures of players. I think it boils down to taking Spurs as far as he could and now his credibility will be scrutinised more having failed to win the French league.
  17. Ancelotti joins Real Madrid. Poor Everton thought they’d won the league after 4 games😂 Also my mate at BT says Roberto Martinez has been interviewed for Spurs and is their preferred choice. 9/1 right now so I may put something on that.
  18. Surprised they are taking Walker really - he only plays for City to meet the homegrown quota and I'd put him well behind Reece James and Kieran Trippier. Stones has had a positive season and it's gonna be a tough toss up between Chilwell and Shaw. Sterling has had a pretty dismal year and his consistency in an England shirt is always a factor. Phillips is nowhere near the standard required but Henderson and Mount will be a huge benefit to the team as will Grealish. Our attack looks very strong - we have perhaps too much depth but Rashford has really gone off the boil which will be a concern going into the tournament but the choice negates this. I'm still unsure of Foden - he's had blinders against Burnley, Everton and Fulham and has considerable talent but it might be a bit too soon. He tried hard against Chelsea but they disposed of him with incredible ease and he has yet to shine for England even against mediocre opponents. His style could actually be a determinant against more direct and effective play. It's always very hard to place England in ability terms and then you never know what team will show up. I just hope most of them can perform like they do for their clubs.
  19. Finished the game earlier - took about 44 hours to do the story and I did a lot of the side content too. Very pleased with the game in the end and it really exceeded my expectations. Such a shame there wont be a sequel really!
