  1. From what I understand, the MW3 campaign is complete but they only have the MW2 multiplayer on the backburner but not the MW3MP. They probably wont want to risk MW2 getting buried by Battlefield so if the new COD doesn't materalise, they'll just run Cold War for longer or make some new skinzzzz for Warzone. I reckon there will be a new COD this year though and now they know they can get away with releasing a heavily incomplete game and drip feed content in the following months.
  2. Nvidia RTX 4000 ‘Lovelace’ GPUs design finalized, could arrive end 2022 | TechRadar WWW.TECHRADAR.COM Set to be built on TMSC 5nm, or maybe even 5nm enhanced Nvidia farming out GPU's quicker than iPhones
  3. They are absolutely desperate now. At least MWR had MP so players had a choice whether they wanted to play a pile of shit or a mediocre remaster for a while or even go back to BO3. There is literally no window now where MW3CR can fit that will keep people interested and not even MW2MPR could save it either. Battlefield already has it beat I reckon and COD is literally on its very last legs.
  4. I can't believe Wayne Rooney phoned the police because he got caught with two women in a hotel and is moaning that he's been 'set up'! He's already got horrendous form for this behaviour so I don't know why this is any different. If anything, at least it's not with a granny hooker like it was before
  5. Here is an excellent video from over a year ago outlining Blizzard’s controversies and overall decline prior to this. It’s actually quite astonishing to see it all laid out and how horrific their PR hasn’t been. If this case persists and is the allegations found against them, I don’t think they’ll ever recover.
  6. QPR 4-2 Man Utd: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side handed wake-up call ahead of new season WWW.SKYSPORTS.COM Match report as QPR secured a resounding 4-2 pre-season win over Man... 😂😂😂
  7. Fair play rules are still in effect I think so with income down for most clubs, I think expenditure will be very minimal and any big signings will be done through new sponsorship deals or installments. Most teams will probably see how things are shaping up in January and then next summer it should be business as usual assuming there are no more Covid restrictions enforced. The wage cap has also been lifted in the football league and already a few League One sides are spending a decent amount of money which is very risky but it's also a great time to buy your way into the Championship.
  8. Combat seems to be drawing a bit of criticism - certainly looks less refined than other parts of the game and is even similar to Velheim in terms of simplicity.
  9. Konami:- - Destroyed all their powerhouse franchises like Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill and have now changed their last remaining established franchise into a free to play football game whilst removing the iconic brand and delivering a potentially mortifying montetisation system consisting of even a battle pass. Ubisoft:- - Began the last generation with two intriguing brands of The Division and Watch Dogs. Also continued Assassin's Creed, Far Cry and rejuvenated Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon plus branched into racing with The Crew. Now they've ruined Ghost Recon, saturated Rainbow Six, turned Assassin's Creed into a live service platform for the foreseeable, failed shamefully in the battle royale department and now they are relying on another Far Cry game and an outdated F2P deathmatch shooter as their next big titles. With all the money, studios, experience and and technology at their disposal, it's a an absolute disaster the state they are in currently. Their next two shooters will likely be DOA and it is scary to think what they will do with their new AC platform. Activision Blizzard:- - With Diablo 3 and Starcraft reaching their peak, they had considerable success with Overwatch along with Heartstone. However, there has been some monumental gaping holes in content and new games which has seen them lose tens of millions of players. Even the new expansions for WoW hasn't kept people engaged and Overwatch 2 which is still a way off doesn't look like it'll have the same impact. They've literally been relying on Warzone income and what COD can bring but the lack of foresight and new material has cost them dearly and now they have a major lawsuit on their doorstep which could turn into a PR studio and devastate their internal studios along with budgets. It's hard to believe the state these companies find themselves in especially with their level of income and experience in the last decade. They've really got complacent and will now pay for it. I think companies like Microsoft with the game pass and working closely with studios will be a breath of fresh air in the industry and if Sony can continue their excellent exclusive range then its games like these which will get all the success and recognition. I've never seen AAA gaming or the companies behind them in such a sorry state but it's highly deserved. I'm not even going to mention EA as there's not enough hours in the day but if mainstream AAA gaming died tomorrow, it would be no big loss to the gaming world apart from easy money to shareholders and executives.
  10. 20th anniversary of Max Payne
  11. Be honest, we all thought it would be this
  12. Mismanagement and cut costs doomed Warcraft 3: Reforged, a new report finds | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Insiders claimed the reviled remake was never treated as a priority by Activision
  13. Sounds pretty grim although I'd take things with a pinch of salt as it's a state submission from California California sues Activision Blizzard over alleged harassment WWW.BBC.CO.UK One of the world's largest gaming companies is accused of endemic discrimination and harassment.
  14. Valve says it hasn't found a game Steam Deck can't handle | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Even 2021 games are running no problem.
  15. What's funny is that many of the top streamers cheat and some have been caught red handed but all of that is brushed under the carpet and forgotten about after a few days. When there was the reverse boosting scandal, Activision's solution was to take down the sites using their very own open API that exposed this behaviour rather than deal with the issue and users exploiting it. Warzone's credibility is in the gutter and it's beyond belief that people still bother playing it and spend money. When you have 30+ players cheating out of 150 then what's the point?
  16. Basically a custom game feature (not a map editor sadly) where you can design your own matches and rules that can be played with friends or added to a dedicated server browser. Content including maps, guns and vehicles from past Battlefield games. Battlefield Portal is instantly the most exciting part of Battlefield 2042 | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Make custom Battlefield modes with stuff from Battlefield 1942, Bad Company 2, and Battlefield 3. Looks kinda cool being able to have 2042 soldiers against WW2 ones!
  17. Funnily enough I was offline at the time but apparently the internet collapsed for a period earlier with the following affected

  19. I can understand it to a degree however it's kinda ludicrous after we were told the best part of 6 months straight that vaccine passports would not happen and were ultimately part of some wild conspiracy. It's gonna fuck a lot of football fans and sports ones in general when they aren't allowed in to a match after paying for a ticket because of their age and their place in the vaccine queue. I've already read stories about eligible people not being allowed into certain events just because they don't have a smart phone with the app on and were not instructed on how to acquire a paper-based document. This despite them being double-jabbed and having a card detailing this. All we can do is go along with their daily improvisations.
  20. Doesn't look too bad to be fair and could be a fun coop experience. Shame it's restricted to a three person team but the mechanics look decent as does the shooting
