  1. I understand, it's a lot more low profile too. Vehicles are just something good to aim for.
  2. Luke Shaw is a sound young player. That'd be a good investment if they made the deal.
  3. Now if only they'd introduce some fucking vehicles in the Standalone...
  4. I don't own any sports games on the pc, but I found the FIFA demo near-impossible without a controller
  5. Euuuuuugh. I'm thinking about taking my coaching courses and eventually getting the club to give me an age group of my own. It looks like rewarding work. Haha genius!
  6. I could be proven wrong but I got the impression he'd be another mediocre player who doesn't really strengthen our squad. Kind of like a Borini or Aspas. Hopefully we can get a champions league spot next season and get some stars in.
  7. As a regular Twitch viewer, I've noticed that CoD and especially BF4 get hardly any views in comparison to other games. This could just be to do with specific large channels playing the same games but it seems MOBA's, Dayz, Minecraft etc. all get the most views. And obviously more views = more donations.
  8. Fucking knackered Only a small number actually turned up, I guess parents thought since my dad wasn't here training was off. Still, did the warm up as usual then followed with a couple of small possession games. Went pretty well and I couldn't have asked the lads to behave any better. We followed with a longer game than usual and just some shooting to finish as I was packing away.
  9. I'm not above 2 footing an 8 year old haha
  10. We could get a ForeverGaming 24 hour stream going. I'm sure a few of us (especially Dylan ) would be up for it. Either way I'd really like to help out somehow.
  11. A while back on the old forum (and I'm talking mw2forum.com old) a guy called 'AskACapper' made a few posts. He's a quadraplegic gamer and comedian (and is quite popular on youtube now). He was asking for help with a petition to add button remapping in CoD to make it easier for him to game. It might be worth tweeting or messaging him to see if he can send traffic that way, I'm sure he'd be interested. http://www.youtube.com/user/askacapper/ https://twitter.com/AskACapper

    Coach Jordie

For the last couple of months I've been helping my dad coach Silverstone U8's. I've mainly been leading warm-ups, setting up cones etc. Well right now he's in Singapore for 2 weeks..... which means It's just me on my own. Tomorrow I'll attempt to coach a session with 8 year olds outnumbering me 12 to 1. Can I get them to successfully create and attack space? Or will it end up like the start of Kicking and Screaming? I'll update tomorrow...
  13. I think Mata is a class player, and how a player of his quality doesn't get regular first team football I don't know. Would be a great signing for United but as a Liverpool fan I'd be happier if he stayed on Chelseas' bench
  14. If you have the time I'd recommend listening to this: He brings up some pretty good points.
  15. There's a couple of good players who stream at Twitch.tv. There's a guy called Sacriel who seems to be pretty honourable (though kills when necessary) who I enjoy watching over there.
  16. Have you looked at any cross-breed's or mixed-breeds for sale in your area? Purebreeds often have health problems and generally live shorter lives than mixed or cross bred dogs. I'd suggest bringing your family to some local shelters and seeing if anything catches your eye, and then seeing how your family get along with it. If you have any questions just message me, 3 years working in a pet shop (and owning a dog myself) has taught me an awful lot about dog ownership.
  17. Frankie's one of the few youtubers who I watch consistently. He's also just a couple of episodes into a new series based in Arma 3. As a media student who spends hours upon hours editing videos, I'll say his production quality is incredible. EDIT: Also check out his Battlefield videos (particularly war stories), they're also pretty damn good.
  18. Yeah IF Sakho is a monster! Also look at Kompany. And ratings mean very little in FIFA. It's all about individual stats.
  19. Bit of a specific question May I ask why? Mertesacker, Sakho and Terry all were 80+ befor IF's I believe.
  20. Looks like that was a close one then haha. Cheers
  21. I was really close to picking this up when I was in town yesterday. I've been watching Chris Smoove's playthrough and it looks pretty impressive.
  22. So after a huge pain in the ass of a download on Friday, and a busy Saturday, I got about 6 hours to play on Sunday. It's not as much as I'd have liked but I feel like I still got a pretty good idea of what the game was like. I spent the vast majority of the time as a Khajiit Nightblade. So after a short intro you are brought into character creation. I loved it. If you're an Altoholic like me (or at least like the character creation process), then you'll be pleased. The races all looked pretty good and there were a huge number of customization options, from the angle of your forehead to the size of your hands. I spent a decent time going through all the options and decided it's among the best character creations I've seen in an MMO (And I've played my fair share). I also took this opportunity to look at the higher level gear and was once again pleased. Each race had high-end gear that reflected their personality whilst being consistent with Elder Scrolls Lore. It should be noted that some of the low level gear (particularly the medium armour) didn't look great, though I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for long. After character creation you are brought into this weird soul prison. You meet 'The Prophet' who gives you information about why you are there and what you must do. I won't go into details about the story so far but as Sennex said he basically tells you that you're special. The prison is a tutorial level and it was pretty boring. It was dark so didn't show off the graphics and the lack of skills at this point meant combat was pretty boring (I'll go into that later). It takes about 10 minutes to go through the tutorial depending on how much you look for loot, so this could be a bit annoying when starting several new characters. When I finished the tutorial I found myself in a small camp (the starting area for the Khajiit, Bosmer and Altmer races). This was the first time I got to see how beautiful the game really was. I was highly impressed with the looks of the game as a whole and can tell I'll spend a lot of time just exploring the world of Tamriel. Before I would have said that Guild Wars 2 was the best looking MMO I've played, but The Elder Scrolls Online is definitely a new contender. I was approached by a khajiit who set me off on my first chain of quests. The quests in the starting are were also impressive, there was no "Go to Quest Giver, Kill 8 Wild Boars and Wolves for meat, return to Quest Giver, recieve 200 gold". I had an instance where I was running up from the shore when a woman ran to me for help. I had to run through some ruins and free her master from an evil spirit. It seems a lot more inspired in that aspect. Whilst I've made the game sound pretty good so far, I do have one main concern. The combat. It neither had the complexity of other MMO's such as WoW or the fluidity of single player games like Skyrim. I think I had 5 abilities as well as a regular and heavy attack. There was also a limited amount of abilities to unlock, around 6 for the three skill trees as well as a few for armour, weapons and races.I was able to link up some abilities well however. I could use the 2 second stealth, followed up by a heavy damaging backstab with bleed. Then crippling the enemy as they try to escape. The combat was sometimes laggy with an enemy taking a few seconds to fall after I killed it, thus causing confusion as to what exactly was happening. I never tried out PvP which I regret, since I'd like to have seen how multiple classes could link up together. Overall I think the game is more suited for a casual MMO player, with it's strong points being on looks and story rather than the gameplay itself. Whilst I'll be picking it up, with the looks, story and exploration greatly interesting me, the boring combat may mean I'll put it down sooner than expected.
