  1. This one is pure gold! I just got this lol . . .
  2. It was weird, there were two stone tablets. I didn't get to read them because as soon as I opened it this happened.... . . .
  3. I always have some sort of project going. My decor style I like is very 1920's-1940's so I've been wanting a vintage steamer trunk for some time now for the office/den but they usually cost way too much. Found one with a 1935 date on it at a yard sale for $5 and spent some time cleaning it up and then coating it with some poly to seal the patina of it. Fits right in with the rest of my decor now.
  4. Me too....but I bet I can relate to it more than you! (see what I did there?)
  5. And just think, if you get it in Canadian money then it'll actually be $50 million !
  6. They each use it on alternating days....I get it on Wednesdays.
  7. Well he did say it was a "legitimate arrangement" so it must be true!
  8. Thanks bud. It feels good, I look back at pics of myself from 3 years ago and I just don;t know how I ever was as big as I was back then Not sure yet what I want to get down too but I'm thinking maybe 210 now would be what I plan on.
  9. Currently 223lbs now. Started biking pretty hard this week. Already done 30 miles in the past 3 days, plan to do 50 miles biking per week now all every week.
  10. First styling done on it now. Took about 9" off of it, thinned it a lot, pulled up a new apex and wired the branches at more of a downward angle. We'll see how it progresses over the years .
  11. Latest tree I picked up today to work on. This one is a hinoki cypress.
  12. Currently working on building rods and watching Lord of the Rings while doing it, plus doing reps with the curling bar in between work on rods. That's my day today. Same as most days.
  13. LMFAO!!!
  14. Yeah I'd like to see them. I always like the scrimshaw done on whale like that.
  15. Soldering iron with a sharpened tip.
  16. Google image "Steve glamour shots" and for some reason the first pic that comes up is Randy the Macho Man Savage. I guess even Google knows I'm Macho!
  17. Just watched "Night Crawler" today with Jake Gyllenhaal. I didn't really expect much from the movie (not sure why) but was really surprised that is was so much better than I expected. Jake is probably one of the better actors to play the "crazy guy" in movies that I have seen in a long time. Really cool movie.
  18. November Man....I am really surprised it did not do better at the box office than it did. It was a really good movie with a well thought out plot.
  19. Starting to do some work with wood burning today so I can incorporate it into my rods as another custom touch for customers soon. First three free hand tests produced some nice results so far.
  20. On average I try to stay around 1,200 6 days per week, then 2,000-2,200 on the 7th day. That is to lose weight though, I lose around 2-3lbs per week doing that. To maintain weight I need around 2,400 per day.
  21. Yeah that's the truth, with insurance they just hike up the price to bleed the insurance company more. I actually went to a couple dentist before this one getting prices. The first one was $5300 for the same work I just had done for $3000. The dentist I just had do the work is amazing. Best price around, and he's unreal. I was in the chair for over 2 hrs last week getting root canals and extractions and yet it was 100% pain free and was not even sore after the numbness wore off. The guy is the only one I will ever go back too from now on, he's great.
  22. Spent most of the holiday weekend putting a new roof over the front part of the cabin upnorth so did not get to fish anywhere near as much as I wanted/planned too, but upkeep on the cabin comes first. I did manage to get done in time to slip down to the river and fish for a couple hours and had some pretty nice fish to show for the little amount of fishing I did. Some nice smallies and pike, and even managed to land two bass at once on a tandem streamer rig, first time that has happened to me.
  23. Here's what I just bought....A $3000 smile lol. I just had my last dental appt about an hour ago. Worst part of owning your own business is the lack of health/dental so I have to pay out of pocket. So for the past 3 yrs I have been ashamed of my smile and never smiled. Just got done with getting some root canals, extractions, couple bridges and other various work done. So I just bought my smile back, so guess that counts as something I have bought
  24. Down to 225lbs now as of today. Total weight loss is 175lbs now. Been buying new clothes lately, some shirts are just a plain XL. Quite different than the old days of XXXXL. It's nice to be able to not have your shirt double as a parachute lol.
