I've come to expect day 1 patches on release but a day 1 patch for a beta seems excessive I'll make sure I get the update going as soon as I get home but I wont be playing until about 9 ish. I expect the servers to be dead at launch but hopefully they will have calmed down a little by the time I come to play.

I used to watch it in the evening but so many spoilers end up on the internet or social media. So now I get up a bit earlier and watch it while having breakfast Who doesn't love sex and violence with their cereal

I wont say too much until everyones seen it but that was a good opening in my opinion. Setting everything up, getting all the players of the game where they need to be. Plus Tormund was as entertaining as ever

@Sennex I've not found any traps but the time of day doesn't seem to change anymore. I'm not sure if this is just a problem with the server or something your son did though.

Define 'free'. I don't know of any truely free open source ones but that doesn't mean it isn't possible to get software without paying for it. My experience of video editing is purely through youtube and it seems the standard is sony vegas. I personally use Camtasia Studio as I got a product key with something I bought (I think it was my camera). It is a big simplistic compared to the likes of Sony Vegas but does for what I need currently.

Due to the new angle you come out the ground the terminus has moved a bit closer to spawn now Once I have finished the basic shape of the station I'll put a path from spawn to the station. If anyone has any suggestions for that station let me know now as it isn't too late to make changes to the design. I'm not sure how many platforms we need but I'll add loads so hopefully we wont run out. There is some badly placed chest (with rails running in to them - oopsie) but they are full on rail, powered rails and redstone torches if anyone wants to start their rail lines off. I've also put my energy condenser in station for now as I need a lot of stuff but open to anyone to use if they need more rail.

Doomfist changes don't really mean much as we haven't got him on console yet but good to know they are trying to balance him before going live. Unlike some of more recent PTR changes like Bastion which just went live anyway. Reinhardt - Any buff to him is always nice. I wonder if we could see Reinhardt being used more too as, presuming you can still use the shield, he could protect the team if everyone gets stuck in Zarya's grav. Zarya - Not sure she needed the buff it is what it is. I guess we will possibly see more DVa too being she can eat the ult.

I'm not 100% certain on how Astro's work on pc as I haven't tried to use it. I would have thought though that PC's pick the mixamp up as a usb headset so they would continue to work. The question really though is why, most PC's have better sound than consoles, sound cards and more control over system volume, in game music, sound, chat volumes really ruling the mixamp pointless.

What I do not understand is why they get so much hate for the game, I'm sure the reddit thread exists still in which someone listed all the 'lies' that were told up to release but they kept getting crossed off as people played more and more of the game and found that they weren't actually lies. There were some things that were straight out lies, or at best were supposed to be in the game but they couldn't make the launch, but Hello Games are far from the first to lie about their game and they wont be the last. I do think some of the issue with NMS was the hype, people built this idea up of what it was going to be yet watching any streams of it and Sean Murray playing it - it was plain to see it was going to be a huge and vast but ultimately a shallow game. As for the updates, they have supposedly made it better and I keep meaning to go back to see what the updates added but I find it difficult to motivate myself for single player games.
