  1. Teh fuck have you been smoking? Peak time literally means when there are the most people doing something.
  2. Does ‘peak’ mean something different in your world? As there’s more players online at almost every other point in time in that graph. So it’s more like an anti peak…I feel English probably should have a word for that…
  3. Did they really? Or did it just feel slower as the season didn't get extended and we didn't get as many double xp weekends and those we did have were right at the end of the season. Surely it isn't that hard to prove as plenty of content creators should have clips of similar-ish matches in season 1 and season 2 and a 50% drop in progress should easily be noticeable. But doing a quick search, all I can find is people suggesting, claiming, feeling or other such adjectives it's been slowed down but no proof. The battlepass is slow overal but I can't say I particularly noticed it being slower. I hit max level in season 1 pretty easy but haven't hit it in season 2 yet still managed to finish the battlepass in the first double xp weekend which was 2 or 3 weeks ago? As for the blackcell battlepass, I guess we'll see precisely what it gives up. A few extra blueprints and some extra skins really won't be worth it but if there's enough "content" in it then it could be worth it. Else I'll stick to the normal battlepass with the points I earned from the last one.
  4. No worries mate, I can understand work getting in the way. Just hard to judge between leaving a server up and no-one playing it or wiping the server. Yeah I should get back on vanilla. I just keep getting distracted by other modpacks 😄
  5. I've been remiss in checking in but how is everyone getting on with this? I know Matt completed everything about 3 hours after the server went live 😄 but looking at the server logs I can see no-one has been online in a few weeks. Are people stuck? bored? or has everyone completed the quests?
  6. Paint depends on what look you want to go for as obviously you can get much finer detail hand painting like you miniature's v spray painting. Maybe check out Punished Props? I've done any 3D printing or painting but watching their videos they mix and match depending on what they're doing so they could give you an idea of when to use spray v brush, plasti dip vs acrylic etc.

It’s a tricky one to compare to the SteamDeck in my opinion. Yes it’s a handheld gaming device but for the performance I’m expecting it to be, at minimum, twice the price maybe even 3x. At that price point the competition then stops being the SteamDeck and becomes gaming laptops. Still it’s good to have more options and i’ll be keeping an eye on its development.
  8. Most gaming related events seem to focus on current and upcoming games but looking at numerous ComicCon's there's some focus on teaser trailers for new things but a lot of the panels and guests are from old shows. So I think it could be cool to have a retro focused one in a similar vein especially as 5, 10+ years later people might be more open about some of the things that happened during production.
  9. Satisfactory did their giant heads and giant lizard doggos again While not strictly "gaming" it's tangential, I quite liked BeQueits one
  10. Well that’s a nice surprise to log back in to 🥰 Can I have it as Steam please.

I haven't touched since we last raced as I got distracted by ACC. Interesting to see they've changed the handling though. I'll watch the video on the way home and will have to give some time 🙂
  12. until

Until Lee arrives you can call me Daddy!
  13. There's been a few rumours going round that Grogu going off with Luke was supposed to be the end of the story line but Grogu returning was forced on the series. Whether it's true or not who knows but it makes sense as they do seem to have stagnated with Grogu. Especially as Din's story is tyng up with Bo Katan's and seems to be around the restoration of Mandalor which doesn't seem to have room for Grogu.
  14. I suspect that says more about your posting habits than Pat’s 😄
  15. I just completed this quiz. My Score 66/100 My Time 203 seconds
  16. Great news they've finally released it and it gives me some ideas ... now to figure out if / how to make them work.
  17. It's a pretty simple pack so shouldn't take too long to learn which I guess is the point. But any questions, let me know 🙂 Or let me know when you're on and I'll jump on to go through stuff if need be.
  18. It’s the same pack and same world 🙂 Just a change in IP.
  19. @Misneach_@GazzaGarratt@Diddums@Plumbers Crack@TurboR56Mini@Spacedeck Tagging everyone whitelisted as they've done some upgrades on the server and as such we have a new IP address 194.125.248.194:25414
  20. I've been reading and watching a fair few things on the PSVR2 for this very reason. I love racing in VR on PC but it would be cool to have FG race nights in VR too. Though I know I wouldn't really play anything else in VR on the PS5 so it's a lot of dosh just for some GT7. There's also the issue of what does the game look like in the headset - obviously people recording the game record the game as it but the foveated rendering, lenses, screen door etc. all "degrade" the image you see vs the image recorded. I've come to the conclusion I need to try one before buying but nowhere I can find has a demo of the PSVR2 😞 So might just spend the money on a CSL DD upgrade instead 😄
  21. They're not that expensive are they? Admittedly a very quick google but they seem to be only £10-£20 more.
  22. It’s more complicated than that though as you can overheat an NVMe and it will throttle performance to cool itself down. They don’t draw much power but the heat is focused to controller and memory. Constant and large read write operations will overheat a drive without a cooler. Gaming isn’t quite that intensive but the drive will certainly get warm - though warm is actually a good thing. It’s also further muddied that gen3 drives aren’t too bad but gen4 drives get significantly hotter. If memory serves the PS5 is gen4 so I’d say get a cooler. I don’t know how well the PS5 cools the nvme but the degradation and performance loss is considerably worse if they get too hot than a little cooler.
  23. I'd be down for a IRL board games and can bring a game or 2 along also. A couple of friends like their board games too so could bring a couple more people too.
  24. The PSVR does look good and I'm so tempted by it but it's so much money just for GT7. I didn't realise they were adding Sophy though, that's potentially great news and hopefully the AI won't be so useless now.
  25. But how often do you travel that far? I don't know about your situation or Canada's but in the UK the average journey is only 12km. I know for me, out of a 250 mile range EV, I could get around 6-7 regular weeks of driving out of it before I'd need to charge it. That's not to gloss over the other problems with EV's, of which I agree there are many, but range is often given as an excuse when in reality, the range of EV's easily covers 99.99% of journeys. Hydrogen fuel cells are arguably the better solution than pure EV's as they can have significantly higher range, quicker to refuel and you don't need a drive / garage at home. The big problem with Hydrogen fuel cells though is efficiency; as in the energy you get to put to the road vs the production, transportation, transmission losses (substations, pylons etc. not gearboxes) etc. From whatever power source we use to produce hydrogen, only about 25%-30% of it actually makes it to road whereas pure EV can skip a lot of those steps making them about 50%-70% efficient. Now we could just burn the hydrogen in an ICE but you then still have all the problems of producing the hydrogen in the first place and burning hydrogen still produces things we don't want like NOx emissions so that's out too. EV's have a number of problems especially when it comes to electricity generation and infrastructure on a large scale. But they are crazily efficient when compared to other options; 2-3x over hydrogen fuel cells and more like 4x to ICE, so I struggle to see an alternative to EV's.
