On 2014's showing from Ubisoft my enthusiasm for this waned. Taking longer to get it right can only be a good thing I suppose.

While some do say Vegas is better I'd recommend Fallout 3. I'll always remember the first time I left that vault. 3 feels more post apocalyptic wasteland where Vegas is a little more colourful and less eerie, at least for me. Take from that what you will.

I was a little intoxicated last night and bought Dirt Rally before I went to bed. I'll be giving it ago this weekend. I use an Xbox controller but should look into getting a proper driving wheel, can get a half decent one for £60/70 these days.

^ me too, these things always make me way to upgrade my PC too Fridays might be a good time to get together. Maybe trail this next Friday? 6pm eastern time translates to 11pm UK time. I can stay up late on a Friday if I've been a good boy. Other than that I'm open to suggestions. Game-wise I'm happy to play whatever. Minecraft has been touted by others. Other than that, I have most FPS shooters on PC so I can play pretty much anything that gets suggested.

Wow, you hear about this kind of thing happening a lot, that's nuts. I had part of my intestine (the perils of living on curry and beer ) removed when I was 25 and they took out my appendix while had they me opened up, which I thought was a nice touch. Really glad you're okay mate. And remember hospitals always have the best drugs. Though I sadly found out that morphine does fuck all for me

Dirt Rally is also out, I wonder how they compare. A mate from work has given it the thumbs up so far. Very difficult.

Some funny moments in this game. Listening to the AI in particular. I was behind a wall listening to a couple of guards talk just now. One was correcting the other on his grammar.

I didn't realise it would be a struggle to get people engaged enough to get this going but only a couple of people have indicated when they're able to get on, so I'll just leave it there. I don't want to be a 'try hard', was just looking to see if people wanted to play PC together.

lol Arma 3 can be a bit like that with the million buttons you have to learn. If we ever get this PC thing going I'll be more than happy to jump on. There's some good multiplayer mods like King of the Hill and Battle Royale that are a lot of fun. There's a few games we can all play together and I'd say what we play is determined by who makes it on. Now, we just need to decide when is a good time we can all get together. To take into account timezones maybe weekends are the best bet, but I'm free at the dates/times I already mentioned and I'll copy them below: Monday - Friday 8pm - 1am UK time 3pm - 8pm Boston/New York time 2pm - 7pm Chicago/Houston time 12 - 5pm LA time 4am - 9am Tokyo time Weekend Any time can do but let's aim for: 9am - 2am UK time Rest of the world can work it out.

So, I pre-ordered this on the strength of my experience playing 'the new order'. It's £14.99 on steam and i just pre-loaded it. I know it's only single player but I had a real blast with the last one. Plus killing nazis is always very satisfying. Anyone else giving it a go?

I too like driving and killing. Project CARS is released soon isn't it? I'm easy, I'll go with what the majority of people likely to play want to go for. Though I just read the message from Sennex. We may need to decide quickly and if we go for Minecraft let's not waste the man's time

Yeah man, I'll hit you up when I complete the story mode. I did complete it on the 360 but I'm doing it again on PC. Haven't played much online yet, I'm only Lv12 but well up for the lolz

Minecraft seems to be a popular choice so far, I'm a noob at the game (I've played it on the xbox a little) but I'm up for it on PC.

I'm home straight after work most days, though I'm sneaking in some footie in the park on Wednesdays now the evenings are light again. Weekdays I can be on most evenings, so long as I plan it in advance, and anytime between 8pm and 1am UK time. At weekends any time, day or night is cool.
