    Just had an hour before sleepy phil went to beddy byes. The game looks amazing on ultra settings. Nvidia tried to suggest I use medium settings which I laughed at. With everything turned up I struggle to get above 50 frames but a mixture of high and ultra seems the sweet spot for me. I imagine with ray tracing it must look even better. Watched the Digital Foundry vid and they think the way ray tracing is used for lighting is the best they've ever seen. Nomad character to start with. I like the conversation options and the time limit to provide a response before the npc and conversation move on. My guy is taking no shit from the off. My car is a wreck but driving seems ok. That's all I'll say for now.

    @GrebothIndeed, Willow Springs international, looking at 15 laps with 5x tyres and 4x or 5x fuel. Any tyre in race and qualifying but must use hards for one lap minimum in race. Great write up by the way 🙂

    We'll probably do Willow Springs next week at Gr.3 as I think it's one where everyone has a chance to beat @Greboth It's very straightforward to drive but you cannot fuck up, not once, otherwise it's a one way trip to the shadow realm. I'll have a look at it today to see how many laps and how fuel and tyre choice can be used. I'm feeling adventurous. Sadistic, but yeah adventurous🙂 Any other requests?

    No whitelist, it uses the Expansion mod to a limited degree, so climbing is in, and the zombie count is a little lower I think, which is also handy. Let's sort out a day to jump on together, I'll be on it tomorrow night and then again at the weekend if that's any good!

    Don't think I've updated my ppr yet, mostly chatting in Tommy's ppr🙂 I've started using the MGT Namalsk server as it has good loot and not too many other players. Anytime you wanna jump on just let me know. It's very cold so warm clothes and fire are first and foremost. I'll do a proper guide at some point this week as there's a lot going on in Namalsk.

    I was discussing the reaction to yesterday's game with my fellow yids. Pundits complaining it was not a spectacle, was annoying as fuck. How Jamie Redknapp has a career as a pundit is a mystery to me, him and Merson should go open up a pub somewhere with Matt Le Tissier, they all belong together as miserable old men sitting around a pint of ale moaning about the youth of today. Souness too but he's Scottish so that's familiar territory for stereotyping, dour bastard that he is😁 I knew this was coming, they literally haven't the intelligence to think anything else. Liverpool will still win the big one I reckon.

    I have pre-ordered this from GOG instead of Steam. It's DRM free and has some extra digital stuff. I've not used the GOG launcher for a proper game yet so I hope it pre-loads before launch on Wednesday night/Thursday morning.

    Watching a now 8 year old Frankie vid playing on Namalsk. Srsly cannot wait for tomorrow. There's a live stream at 6pm and then it drops at 8pm. You know this map was originally made from the ground up by a modder in his spare time. Bohemia were so impressed, they hired him. He is now the DayZ Lead designer and he has made Namalsk again, in his spare time, for free. I'll drop a link to the live stream under the Frankie vid. 6pm start time 3 December 2020

    Very interesting racing last night. Enjoyed the Gr.1 very much although I clearly chose the wrong car. I won't mention my masochistic and catastrophic tyre choice in the race but I was happy with my qualifying time. Starting on the grid it was slightly demoralising to watch all the VGTs accelerate past me. Some very tight racing between @Grebothand @JBR-Kiwi considering Kiwi only bought the VGT just before qualifying. Mind you, @GazzaGarratthad to earn a few hundred thousand before racing just to earn enough to buy a car, so fair play mate🤗 @Mikepjbell had similar pitstop issues as me, so i didn't have to spend too long looking at his arse. The Gr.4 felt very slow, possibly should've done that one first😉
