    That's a great write up and totally agree with the last bit too. Also, I'm on 1440p with 59-64 fps on a mix of high and ultra. It looks great but hoping optimizations allow for higher frames in future.

    What happens when you let short term profit override your common sense. Personally I don't care about CDPR or how they're remembered, I don't care about corporations, I despise them. What I do care about is the people who made the game and the people who spent their hard earned money buying a dud. There's no excuse for any of it. The guys who spent years and years of hard graft and non stop crunch making it must be fucking destroyed by all of this. These people have no say over when the game is released and their work is being trashed because it was not released when it was ready. If Rockstar can do RDR2 on base consoles and make it look beautiful, then this could have been achieved for CPunk, they could have simply delayed the release. As an artist I would want my art to be presented in the best possible way...and they have been let down by their bosses. At the same time it astounds me that the workers haven't the nous to collectively organise and do something about it themselves. As for the early access thing, take a look at Star Citizen🙂

    Doesn't look like anyone can make tonight, judging by the calendar. If it's just two people we can rearrange, as I was having to juggle a few things to make it myself this week (covid tier 3 in london from tomorrow).

    Left 4 Dead 3 essentially, just a different name. Looks very good. It'll be all about the shooting mechanics for me. With this and that WH40k game, Dark Tides, due out too, 2021 will be a good year for coop shooters.

    The financial need to release an unready product is a fact of life for a while now. Nothing new here. Fallout New Vegas, a classic game, buggy as fuck on release. Skyrim, classic game, buggy as fuck on release, one of which almost ruined the game for me. Battlefield 4. I saw more of what was under the map than on the map the first month I played it. It's nothing new. And the guys doing the work, well we hear about working practices in the industry. Nothing changes other than the weaker games like Mass Effect Andromeda sinking from trace....only for the whole series to be rebooted a few years later when the dust has settled. Random thoughts ^

    In recent Tuesdays I've wondered why I'm driving seconds slower on tracks I'm normally fast on. Today I tried the Gr.2 race and couldn't work out why I was so slow. I watched a video replay of one of the top ten fast times and noticed the guy accelerating between gears much faster than me and reaching 6th gear by the end if the long straight. I can't get into sixth. Seems R2 on my controller has been fucked and I didn't realise. Tried another controller I don't use much, as it drifts when not plugged in (bluetooth issue with certain controllers), so much better. I had just assumed it was me being too careful. Anyway, no more controllers just the wheel from now on.

    For the new Gran Turismo Sport owners, note that if you drive 500 miles a day, you will be given a free car every day. Doing the challenges too will provide free cars and also the funds to buy cars. If there's people without Gr.2 we can do the Gr.3 race, as I know Lee loves those Tokyo walls😎

    From this week's upcoming daily races we can choose between either: Gr. 3 Tokyo Expressway East Inner 4 laps hard tyres Or Gr.2 Fuji 13 laps medium tyres fuel 4x tyres 5x As we're already doing Gr.3 around Willow Springs, I'd go for Fuji.

    I'm starting to fall in love with this game, just exploring out of mission is a blast. I seem to have escaped any bugs other than a weird rag doll moment from someone I bravely shot in the back while they were in a fight with the NCPD. I've had some upgrades, plus better guns and the shooting is feeling better. I hope they've sorted the PS4 version with last night's update.

    Funny thing is, after 11 games, we've scored more goals than in any other season since the 1960s. I'm no Jose lover, as you know very well, and I'd be the first to say the football is shit to watch, as that would back up my fears. But it isn't the case. He has shown a few people he's not a spent force or one trick pony, and they haven't the wit to get their heads around it. On Thursday on BT they spent the whole time trying to talk Winks and Deli out of the club. It's boring as fuck substandard shite and I turn the sound off when I watch the game, which makes it a lot more pleasant experience 😁

    The original on the N64 was very underrated. It had multiplayer with bots. I had to get an expansion pack to play it. Goldeneye on steroids.

    Fortunately I wasn't trying to drive particularly fast, just testing fuel, tyres and efficacy of short shifting....and ensuring I didnt drive off track....so plenty more to come🤗 I think I was getting 1:14 in hards in the Mazda and Aston Martin but that's not what I'm driving. The Atenza is a fast car though.
