  1. Ha ha I forgot that 'other' Mike incident. Clearly I'm punch drunk at this point😆
  2. I use Kudosprime to find Gran Turismo information and stats. I'll link the car stats and prices list below but you can also use the site to track your progress in the online daily races. 3. Best part of race 2 was doing Matty on the tyres. He stayed out two extra laps after I'd pitted, possibly one lap too long on the worn mediums. It was close though, just as he had left pits, myself and Mike the Marauder sailed by. We had been a couple of seconds behind him the previous lap. Mike then bottled it and had a date with Barry R.....so end of race I came in second, albeit around 30 seconds after Greboth's first place. Also had a nice battle early on with Kiwi but he disappeared into the shadow realm. Race 1, I was predictably in the sand trying to avoid Mike who had unpredictably braked a second time at Turn 11. To be fair, me telling him I was right behind him seconds before may have had an influence on that. But I spun twice in the race without any help from anyone so let's avoid Catalunya for a while😅
  4. Also Traction control (TCS) can be changed while driving. New drivers should start with this at 2. Turn off driving assists and keep ABS as Default.
  5. Oh yeah, aim to buy at least one car from each class, preferably Gr.3, Gr.4 and Gr.2 initially.
  6. Anyone can add to this but here's a few things for new players to take note. First some tips, them some etiquette. Tips Cars cost money. Money is gained by driving. Simple. In Campaign you can choose between GT League, Driving School, Mission Challenge, Circuit Experience. I'd do Circuit Experience first as it provides money. Mission Challenge and Driving School will give you free cars after various stages. Every day you play the game, you will be given a free car, so long as you drive a minimum 26 miles. Etiquette There's a quick tutorial in the Sport section. It's a requirement before you're allowed to race online. FG Etiquette Don't be a cunt. That's all. Ok... If you bump an opponent unfairly and it costs them time, ideally you should slow down and wait for them. Try not to dive bomb unless you are abreast or close enough to make it legit, then you are within your rights to try a pass. Try your best not to ruin anyone's race. We play tough but fair, its not GTA, even if your name is Mike.😁
  7. It's £7.99 right now on PS store until 19 Jan, not sure what that is in dollars. There'll be 10 - 12 of us on tonight, and more each week it seems, so if you've not got it, get it, and if you've got it, get in😊
  8. I like all the tracks you mention Lee. In fact Sardenga has 5 layouts and they're all great. I also like Kyoto Driving Park - Yamagiwa+Miyabi Sainte Croix Alsace But they're all good, some are just more enjoyable than others.
  9. On controller I set the gears to square and X. Change down gears to assist turning around corners and getting acceleration out of corners. This is the trickiest bit, so practice this the most. Getting the hang of braking and going down the gears was the key for me, so practice that. Try to go down only as many as you really need. It'll be second nature no time.
  10. That kid you've bought off Atalanta back in October seems to be highly esteemed, on his way to you now!
  11. Two first choice races below, any suggestions for a 3rd race, please stick in the comments. Note, a Gr.2 car is required for race 2 (Nissan and Honda have great Gr.2 cars, plus maybe the Lexus). Race 1. Gr.3 Hard Tyres only No fuel or tyre use Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya 4 Laps. Race 2. 13. I found a site that announces the daily races earlier than others so next week's dailies are available. There's an N300 around Blue Moon that we'll avoid I think, but here's the other two. Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Gr.3 4 laps Hard tyres only No fuel or tyre use. Dragon Tail- Gardens Gr.2 13 laps Medium tyres Fuel x2 Tyres x7 Technically the second race is Seaside, not Gardens, but we did Seaside a few weeks ago, so I'm switching it to Gardens. I will also ask new players to grab a Gr.2 car. If that's a problem before Tuesday we can make it Gr.3 or 4 instead. I'll sort the calendar now.
  14. Well now, if that's the case, try some scottish punk rock sexual healing
  15. Every time I see the name of this thread pop up I think it's a new term for a sex position I'm not hip enough to know yet🤔
  16. If I compile all the footage of people ramming me up the arse, it would make one hell of a gang bang. Is my defence😊
  17. Some great racing this evening, plus Goodwood 🙂 We managed 4 tracks tonight with 10 of us racing, really enjoyed it!
  18. We are, not entirely sure you need to😘
  19. Hope you've all had a chance to practice. I'll set up the lobby early for those that want to get some laps in. Good luck tonight smashing @Misneach_ into the Blue Moon barriers😉
  20. He's a disagreeable cunt, don't encourage him 😁
  21. With Blue Moon at 12 laps on Hard, cars will just about manage to di the full distance without needing to pitstop. Tyres will be a bit fucked on the last couple of laps but no need to change them. You need to be doing a lap in under 45 seconds. I tried half a dozen cars and they all managed that. Interlagos is a similar story, less laps but tyres may need to be changed, that's up to each driver and which tyres they choose to start with may influence that. Tricky little track this.
