    My faves are Battlefield Bad Company 2 on Xbox 360, then on PC, Battlefield 3 on Xbox 360, then on PC, Battlefield 4 on PC, and PS4. All great Battlefield games of the modern era. I'd take something along those lines or near future. I'd like a BF the FG community could get into but I'm not sure Dice still have the old magic. Hope they do.

    I see that they might be redoing the combat for the first one as well as visuals. It'll be cheap S chips a few months after release. But @RenFengge I do get what you mean about introducing someone new to the series. It's definitely worth that. The first game came out pretty early in the life of the 360. The story, characters, context (I remember laughing at seeing anti alien protests by groups of humans) made me love it from the moment I started playing it. And many people love the multiplayer in the later games...

    Also, the way they dropped Andromeda will stick in my craw a while. It was far from a bad game.

    Don't see the point. 1 needs a complete overhaul to make it worth revisiting. It's better looking? So what. If the combat etc is the same, no thanks. 3 still holds up as a good looking game, I have it on Origin and it's a beauty on full settings. I'd consider if they remade the first game, it's still my favourite of the bunch in terms of the story etc just let down by gameplay and mechanics in some places.

    The success of this, for me, was seeing how much those bankers are still hated, and how a few more folk have had the wool pulled from their eyes.

    The original on N64 is one of my favourite games of all time. They really did a good job with the Xbox 360 port from what i see here. Never managed the Egyptian level personally 😡 Multiplayer was hilarious with all player screens on one TV😅 Now though, I'd be more interested in a complete overhaul, particularly the shooting, as I don't have an N64 controller 🙂

    The UI, classes and skill progression is a cluster fuck of poorly thought out logistics. But the gameplay is decent enough, though I have disabled random enemy drones to ensure I keep enjoying it🙂

    Saw this on sale in the Ubistore and picked it up for £10 at the weekend. I do like how the bonuses you get playing games allow you to activate a further 20% discount. Wish Steam did that. They made a lot of changes to this game and playing it in Ghost mode yesterday was a lot of fun.

    My second attempt to watch that George Clooney Netflix film, the Midnight Fart. First time, on my own, I managed an hour before the rage it induced encouraged me to turn it off. Second attempt with Mina and we made it through the whole thing. My advice, save yourself 2 shitty hours of bullshit. None of it makes sense, so many holes, so many questions, it's basically Clooney wanking to himself in a mirror over his acting performance. Just 2 issues I have, out of many: Why, if they found a decent planet were there not a whole shit load of ships ready to take people into space? Why not wait in orbit instead of hiding in caves? Bullshit. Why, when you're surrounded by wolves, and shoot your gun to scare them off, would you then drop your gun, abandon it, like you're not going to need it again, when they will return in 10 minutes to eat you. Fuck off 🙂 Oh yeah, I now hate Sweet Caroline, the spacewalk scene almost had my boot in my tv👊

    I can't stand mobile games. There, just thought I'd share that happy fact. 😅 Oh yes, and please ask @JsinOwl to come to the forum and say hello. He's missed and he'd find a nice bunch of newbies he hasn't met yet🙂

    If you spend 20 minutes in the game each day, you get a free car, every day. Just have to drive a minimum of 26 miles. I've hundreds of cars and not spent a penny.

    I'll be interested to see how Troy Parrot does now he's out on loan to Ipswich. He didn't have a great time at Millwall by all accounts so I'll be asking @Plumbers Crack for any local feedback if he gets a game!

    I had Steel Series Siberia 2 back in the day but the mic was a joke. Glad they've improved upon that. The best headset I've owned are the Astro A50s. My 5 year old Astros are only good for audio now though as the mic no longer works. But the sound and comfort are amazing. I currently use wired Sennheiser PC360 with an Astro mixamp. It's open backed, rather than closed cup like the Astros, and while not as bass heavy as the Astros, the sound quality is excellent. I took advice from Greebs, as this is a more modular approach and can interchange headsets with the mixamp should they fail.

    A good combination of cars at Gr.3 might be the Nissan and the Audi, while at Gr.4 the Audi and Peugeot are good cars to own. Some are better on tracks with long straights, others are better at cornering. But mostly its whatever car you feel most comfortable in, as we have BOP enabled to balance the performance. I hate the Gr.3 Audi R8 for example and rarely drive it.

    A couple of things to add. 1. The tyres you're using - from hard to super soft - will all have different fastest times. 2. Do your laps in the lobby if you haven't been. For some reason doing them in the Arcade mode the tracks have been given more grip, so the times aren't realistic.

    Not a massive fan of 3rd person looter shooters but if its done right I can be convinced. I'll give the demo a go and see how it runs on a 1080ti.

    Bluedrake did a video on it the other day and I watched a bit. Could be good but I agree the promotion is a bit ott and seems to be trying to attract the casual player maybe. I foresee a lot of griefing 🙂

    Very sad indeed. I have mild Crohn's disease, but I'm lucky, it is awful for most people. Really awful. My heart goes out to her and her family.
