  1. This Tuesday for Gr.3 we'll be on the Nurburgring. If you don't know the track I suggest some pre-practice as it's around 7 minutes a lap. A marmite track this, I like it myself. Very fast and a lot of opportunities to fuck it all up. I'm going to get my wheel out so RIP me. The Gr.4 is a Sardenga track which I enjoy but can be weak on. But as I say, I'll be on the wheel which means I should be faster but also more likely to make a mistake 😢
  2. Gr.4 at Sardegna CII Gr.3 at Nurburgring (24 hour track) Tasty😁

  4. I can't believe I've not bought it yet tbh😁
  5. Indeed, I should be ok every Tuesday now until Crimbo. Looks like I need some practice 😁
  6. Sadly it appears to be a shoddy remake. Getting destroyed in the Steam reviews.
  7. One of my Basque mates in Tottenham does the occasional Basque barbecue and he's an amazing cook but having no garden that's not something I can do myself sadly. I've always been very impressed by the Catalans when I visit Barcelona. They do a lot of outdoor cooking, mostly paella based, and there's friendly competition around it. I've seen outdoor cooking in the US on TV and those ribs have me salivating. But when English folk do outdoor cooking it's all burnt crusts and pink uncooked insides in my experience 😁
  8. I now won't be on tonight.
  9. It looks like some sort of attempt at humour. I skimmed it, but it seemed like something in a school magazine written by an ambitious but talentless 14 year old with humour so obscure it can only really be described as narcissist shite.
  10. This week's calendar is up. Should be a good couple of races!

  13. From what I've seen, it makes me want to go back and finish Ghost of Tsushima. Has similar vibes. And gameplay.
  14. I was a bit spaced out last night and Marina almost destroyed my headset at one point but this was a good laugh. Cal dragging a certain scotsman halfway across the map was hilarious. Will definitely play more.😁
  15. I saw the Digital Foundry vid where they've revealed PS4 games will play at 60fos on PS5. Amazing. But yeah looks like they need to release a 2TB model... I have no need of a new console but to be honest all the buzz around it makes me want one. Must resist 🙃
  16. It's a good game but probably not being marketed towards my age group🙂 Fundamentally it has a lot going for it gameplay-wise so it's going be he a nice buy in a sale. I paid 40 quid and I'll get my money's worth I'm sure.
  17. They need to add Kowloon 😁

    Namalsk

It's a mod and it's free. It's an epic map with mountains and underground bases, plus the original version had EMP storms and aliens which I'm hoping are in the new version too, along with the Gauss gun.

    Namalsk

Back in the old DayZ mod there were a number of modded maps. I understood my two favourite maps were being worked on for the new DayZ, Origins (Taviana) and Namalsk, a winter map with touches of STALKER... ...and it looks like Namalsk is dropping first🤗 Its actually been modded by one of the DayZ devs in his spare time and comes out 3 December.
  21. You could also move on to video editing and start making gaming videos as a way of practicing. All good though, it's important to keep the brain occupied in these times👍
  22. I've found that by skipping all the cut scenes it's a much better experience. Can't be bothered with the childish plot/story but the gameplay is a lot of fun.
  23. It's almost like they want their manager sacked. Poch must have be wondering which side of Manchester he'll be managing, now looking more like the red team.
  24. Yeah, the party chat issues were annoying as hell. Good race though. Had a good start, thought I'd be trying to keep Greboth honest but Lee elbowed through on the first corner, I'm too nice giving space, before further on after turn 3 I saw him nudging JBR slightly off track, at least that's how it looked to me😉 After Lee's nudge JBR had to follow behind me while Greboth tried to escape Lee's attentions. To no avail, a coming together of those two ended with Lee falling behind, with me now on Greboth's tail. I think I managed a lap before JBR nudged me around a corner and I went off track a little. I tried to stay on him but I lost a bit of composure and took the next two corners poorly. I'm pretty sure I saw Lee attempting to fly at one point in my rear view mirror, either that or he was trying to mate with Harold. I blushed. After Lee's divebomb, Greboth held onto his wits and drove a consistent race to finish first. JBR was about 8 seconds behind him, I was around 12 seconds behind JBR, with Harold fourth and Lee last ....but not forgotten. The race finished and I got kicked offline.😁 Out of 10 laps, two of mine were error strewn but the rest very consistent. I like the track, kind of itching for a longer race though.
  25. He is one of those players it's easy to hate on but I agree, he has had an outstanding career.
