Dave it's time to move to Gmail and make that problem irrelevant. Nobody uses their ISP email anymore for this exact reason (and Gmail is really, really good). For internet speed, anything over 30 is overkill. The only time you'll benefit from higher speeds is when downloading a lot. We have 35mb and we stream in 4k on Kyla's Fire Stick. For ISP, as much as I hate BT, they were the most consistent and reliable for us, as well as Virgin. Talktalk - no. Don't even go there. Their "customer service" reps are all in India and aren't knowledgeable on anything beyond what's on their script, and anything that needs escalating will take days. We tried Vodafone and they fucked it up six love so I can't comment on them, it might have been a fluke and I'm still tempted to give them a second chance. We're with Sky now and they're dogshit. They go through phases of being reliable / unreliable and we just came out of an unreliable phase where we couldn't hold a stable connection for ages. It seems to have sorted itself out however. Plusnet are the only company who have managed to beat Talktalk in terms of how complete and utter shit they were. Granted we were on the bottom package but this is not acceptable in any way, shape or form: Honestly I'd rather have no internet than the pile of steaming, frustrating shit that was Plusnet. logged on to Flamelash for a bit tonight with the sole intention of farming some elemental fires to bring over to Nethergarde Keep when I transfer. These are rather valuable but very heavily farmed items so there's always fierce competition at the zone where the mobs spawn which drop them. Within minutes there were a few Hordies around me, one of which killed me once but when I made it clear that I was just there for farming, he left me to it. Three other hordies were completely the opposite, dancing with me, helping me kill mobs, etc. Then a mage turned up and made it his priority to highlight why the server is dead and just kept killing me over and over. He was level 60, I was level 36. He gained absolutely nothing from killing me, not a single honor point, not a single rep, not even a single copper. I was a completely honorless target yet he still kept killing me. The others were telling him to stop and one of them even figured out a way to cross the game's language barrier and kept saying "no go no go no go". Obviously these guys know what's up and are trying to look after the few Allies they have left, perhaps in the hope that the Alliance will grow back again, but the mage was having none of it. Well, to those who helped, I salute you, but please send my thanks to the mage for highlighting why that server is dead in the first place and wish him all the best on his empty PVE server. I'll transfer tomorrow.

I was chatting to the caveman about this last night, but the tl;dr is that I've got an epic gym at work and have free unlimited use as often and as long as I want. Not using it is a waste. The problem is mine, which is quite simple. I've no idea where to start or what to do. When I worked nights at BT I used to go to the gym on nights for a few months but I had no clue what I was doing. I would literally just hop on whatever machine looked good that day, and go until I was knackered. I had no goals, no plan, nothing. Just go. This of course made me lose interest as I was just wasting time effectively. That needs to change. I don't want to pay for a personal trainer, but I want all the benefits of a personal trainer. We have 2x Peloton bikes, 2x regular training bikes, 2x Crossfits, 2x Treadmills, 2x Rowing machines, shitloads of weights, punching bag, medicine balls, kettlebells, you name it, we have it. This gym is seriously kitted out. Now I want to be fit, and I want to bulk up a bit. I've done some googling and I might as well have googled "what's your favourite colour" as everyone has different opinions and approaches, almost as if everyone has different bodies and different strokes work for different folks or something, it's weird. So, halp! Where do I begin?

So I've actually been quite interested in this whole saga, so I wanted to keep an eye on it, and also add some context for those who don't understand the numbers. So I went on to Flamelash and did my /who commands, and these are the results: This, for reference, is at 8pm this (Wednesday) evening. Total players: 75. Now the context part. The server we moved to, Nethergarde Keep, is bustling. How bustling? Well, I /who'd every level and added them up: 1998 players. For those of you who are stupid like me and needed a calculator, let me save you the hassle. Flamelash is 3.75% the population of Nethergarde Keep. On a Wednesday evening. That should drive home the point of how dead that server is. It's awful.

Hahahaha, they couldn't even mask their greed for a day. If we pull the curtain back a bit, what we see is that there has been no KDR on the scoreboards of this game, ever. Even in the beta there was no KDR. I know this because I noticed it and thought it was a bug. Turns out this whole "here lol free stuffs" attitude was a load of shit from the beginning and they were simply throwing us a bone to appease us. Well, not me, I'm far too cynical for these cunts, I see straight through their bullshit and saw something like this coming from a mile away. Fuck me they're geniuses if you think about it, textbook bait and switch except that they hid their intentions in plain sight. Credit where it's due, they played us and they played us well. Well, we all knew it was coming and some of us wanted it to happen sooner given that we missed the free character migrations but here it is finally, for £19 you can move a character from one server to another. It takes 24h, and you can't use that character for that time period. I'll personally be bringing my warrior over from Flamelash once I've sent all my phat lootz to him. This has nothing to do with what we think of the game. What we're seeing here is the result of the shareholders' meetings, someone said "give them free stuff and they will come", and have now given us free stuff, expected us all to flock to the game as if they had put Mila Kunis' norks in the game, yet not much has changed. This is because they think they're doing us a huge favour, whereas our mindset as gamers is more "about fucking time". On top of that their greed over the last decade or so has driven a knife so far between the ribs that for many people it's either too-little-too-late, or people just don't trust Activision to not fuck it up, which is the correct mindset to have. I don't mind this CoD to be honest, the game itself is a good laugh when playing with you lot but the publishers are so far up their own arse that they don't realise that this new-found generosity and ass kissing isn't anything special, it's the industry standard and what's what we as gamers want and have correctly come to expect. These idiots are trying to reach Fortnite levels of success with a completely different business model. Never gonna happen.
