So Seth McFarlane, aka Mr Family Guy has been at it again. After making Ted, which was funny in places but mediocre for the rest, he's had a go with Charlize Theron (fapfapfap) at making a romcom based in the old wild West. Went to see it today, and it was excellent. Seriously, go see it. Oh, and:

Some of the WoW devs left Blizzard a while ago and started developing this game. It releases on the 1st of June and it looks epic. It's an MMO with an awesome spacey setting, and everyone who's played it so far says it's good. The only thing that is holding me back is the subscription model, although if WoW is anything to go by, it means a very well polished product which is always well maintained. If it turns out to be good, this might be the game that takes some of my WoW time away.

Schweet! I've also just done Flex1 seeing as I won't be able to make any guild runs this week and got a nice shiny new shield. Odd that, I spent a good four hours trying to kill Norushen with various groups and none of them worked. Then some angry kid wisped me "FROM NORUSHEN ONLY??????????" and I said yes, expecting a fail of epic proportions. We one shotted everything. ilvl 536 now. You lot gonna catch up or? I want to do normals. I hate green writing on my gear. -
Is it Hannibal Lecter? I love those movies, if it's the same thing it might be worth a watch. I love psycho shit.

I seriously miss riding. I mostly rode little 50cc two strokes but once we installed some kit, they packed over 20bhp (23 being my record) and put any sports car to shame until about 100kph. I did also have a 600cc thumper for a while but I never had a licence for it so it had to go. I want to ride again, but my wife would be a nervous wreck. I really do miss it though. Might get a 125 scooter for the daily commute, as we don't achieve speeds high enough to warrant anything bigger in London. 50s are fun as hell too. We embarrassed so many bigger bikes and cars it's insane. We literally poured every penny we had into those things, and the result was 23bhp on something which weighed about as much as a paperclip. Add the CVT and you can see why they were such monsters. Also, the sound of a screaming two stroke, coupled with the unmistakeable smell of synthetic oil burning, and.... well: Then the cops got hold of it, stuck it on a dyno, and I got it back with the entire engine, exhaust, clutch and variomatic all taken out. Basically all the parts with "MHR" written on them, which stands for Malossi Hyper Racing. Nicasil lining, one piston ring, 70cc. 28mm Mikuni flatslide carburettor, Polini For Race exhaust, Top Performances crank shaft, and a TON of other bits and bobs. All gone. About £2k to replace, which is pretty much everything when you're young.

That's the thing: I wanted it to be more difficult. I want to explore, search, hunt and farm. Not look at my crafting list, go "I need leather", look at the map, and know where to go straight away. That kills half the fun. The game was also too easy in general. That said, I got about two hours in and went "meh". Haven't touched it since. Someone mentioned banging the hot chick at the end, might have to stick it out for that.

I dunno. FC1 was excellent. FC2 was also excellent, but it got too samey samey over time. Still one of the best gun sounds in any game, that truck mounted cannon thing. FC3 was fucking awful. Yes the gameplay was good but it had one flaw which totally ruined the game for me and I'll mention it in every single post I make about the game: the animals. Animals don't clump up. You don't need to go to specific areas for specific animals, they're everyfuckingwhere and are restriced by nothing. Yet in FC3 if you wanted to chop up sharks for the wallets, you had to go to a specific area. Yeah, 'cos on an island like that, the sharks have their own territory, amirite? Oh. And the crafting system was an abomination. Make everything once, done. It was awful. Why bother in the first place if you can have everything you need within a couple of hours, and that kit will last you the rest of the game? HAY GUISE WE HAS AN EPIC CRAFTING SISTIM NAU, U CAN MAKE STUFF. ok, so.... sell it then? Nope. Give it to mates? Nope. So what? You make it once. And then? Nothing, that's it, you make it once. Fuckin tragic.

Yep, agreed. I want to do normals, but we need a few more folks and people need to work on their gear / dps.

I'm a warrior. I have no brain, I am merely a skeleton with a shitload of muscles glued to it. I assume no responsibility for my actions, if it has a pulse and it's not Alliance, it has to die. Spine was awesome though. How you guys put up with me I'll never know but kudos for it! Anyways, is anyone actually gonna answer the questions I posted?

Nokia's in similar waters, keep trying new things and failing miserably. I read somewhere that if IBM were to enforce their patents, they could pretty much shut down Apple overnight. Dunno how true that is.
