  2. I think La @RenFengge used to rave about this game and hoped it had a sequel!

I'm 75 hours in, and I've barely done the main mission lol

I'll likely sink a lot more hours into it but I get why many are not blown away. 14 hours and I've barely scratched the surface but I find myself constantly wishing I was either playing a new elder scrolls or fallout. Doesn't have the charm of those games, at least not yet for me. But it's got enough to keep me playing 🙂

This one just dropped on Game Pass, created by the game designer of Limbo and Inside, It's a pretty good puzzle platformer that has a visual style reminiscent of Death's Door. It's available on everything, but free on GP. I'm rolling through it now, and it's a good time so far.

  8. I'm not sure yet. It feels like CoD has been on a wash rinse repeat. Do I enjoy unlocking and achieving challenges sure. In my opinion have one good CoD and create expansions off of that. Until there's a need for a new game. But this feels like the same game again. I would be curious on what this beta is going to showcase. But we all know the Beta is a Beta and things will change afterwards.

  9. Ooooo, I will watch this once this meeting is over and let you know my thoughts, I seem to be having fun with games that are just below that Triple A budgets at the moment, I am playing through Elex 2 and really enjoying it ^_^

I Finished this one on Series X just now, and it was a really fun journey. Lots of clever puzzles all involving different orbs that grant various abilities. There are some boss battles throughout that also make use of the orbs you gather along the way, and everything is controlled by the right analog stick and A button. It was really fun. If you're into games like Journey, Limbo, Inside or any other puzzle platformer, give it a go.

I progressed through the main quest just before the final mission, so I decided to try and find the rest of the temples and do some side quests. The halfway point kind of got me interested in the main story, and my buddy Adrian's spoilers from the podcast the other week also helped. I'll probably finish it up over the weekend. Good, but not great.

  13. Days Gone was a slow starter but just got better and better as the game progressed. I'll likely pick up the PC version at some point if I see it cheap.

  14. I'd also have to say Watch Dogs 2. The game was somewhat tainted by the sheer disappointment of the original plus the general dislike of Ubisoft especially at the time. It's actually an incredibly fun game that looks amazing, has lots of highly entertaining missions plus the AI is incredibly dynamic and alive. It's an absolute travesty that they didn't follow this standard up with Legion and have probably killed of the series altogether. As said above, Days Gone is another I forgot about. Had a miserable reception at launch on PS4 due to various woes and when it was fixed, many users had already moved on. I took a punt when it arrived on PC and thought it was a remarkable game and a very rare instance where I never got tired of the open world and was left wanting after I finished it. The hordes are very impressive from a technical standpoint and the game is mechanically on-par with TLOU. Absolutely scandalous Sony cancelled the sequel.

  15. It really is a fantastic game. BTTF is my favorite movies series of all time. Seen the movies hundreds of times by now. I have annual passes to Universal Studios Florida and every time I see the Simpsons ride I want to punch a wall (It replaced the BTTF ride). The Deloreon and the train from 3 are still there for pics. This game did the series justice all the way around. Loved playing through it. According to the original writers, this is as close to a BTTF 4 as there will ever be. Thank God for that.

  16. Just finished the DLC after just shy of 6 hours and for £8 it's a remarkable return. Although there are a few familiar areas, there is plenty of entertaining combat encounters and few new mechanics. The story is a really nice alternative perspective that fills in holes and sits side by side with Leon's progress. You see him a few times and can always work out where the narrative is between both characters. Incredible value for money especially when you have cocks like Activision charging £24.99 for some stupid coloured gun and ghastly skin.

  20. That’s good to hear, all the old maps, proper perks sounds like a big win to me. I think I’ll be in

  21. I'll be getting it just for playing Fridays if nothing else which is what I said before putting 14 days into mw2(22) but at least I can't moan about the maps 😉. However I won't pick it up until after launch.
