There have been rumblings for a few years that there is another one in the works already so maybe not quite a decade, especially when you consider how quickly they are turning out the FF VII remakes, if they intend to use the same engine and such we could see it before 2030 (if there is one). But who know's with that company, they probably still think NFT's are going to make them billions.

I've not used it outside Shipment, it seems good. Fast rate of fire (not fennec levels). Seems to drop people pretty quick from my experience.

So there have been rumblings the last few years that there will be a Final Fantasy IX remake. So in the last few days there has been a fan release of an FFIX remake demo just to show what the game could be like and I won't lie, it looks dreamy - In addition to this Jeff Grubb who has been known to have inside information of the gaming industry previously has stated the remake is real and in the works and to my delight will retain the turn based combat. Indeed. I've heard talk of DayZ 2 but pay no heed. There won't be a DayZ 2, unless it's just putting DayZ in to a new engine. Modders have already taken Arma Reforger on Bohemia's new graphics engine and turned it into DayZ so, no, I don't see it personally. They haven't even finished the original, and that went into early access December 2013. It's an Arma developer, they do military sims, and DayZ was just a fortunate accident created for free...they have no real interest in a zombie survival game.

I saw that clip when it came out on Twitter as the voice actor for the main character is married to a Game Director at Bungie. It does look really cool, although I don't have much to add as I never played the other FF games outside of 7 and 8. I did play a little bit of a later one but they are just incomparable to these early games. Square Enix have done a top job of the 7 remake, that I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to look at another remake. However, it would be probably at least a decade away if not more considering how long its took just to get a remake of 7 done...and even that hasn't been the full game so far.

Have they finished DayZ 1 yet?! Just waiting for our resident DayZ qualified expert to chime in if this is accurate, good, bad or nothing of interest! @phil bottle

Definitely will have to go and see this next month While Disney is losing $900m on woke flops recently, Paramount continue to deliver big and it is glorious to see!

Stealing thread idea from another forum, and I'm unsure if we have or had one of these. We often times change up the games we are playing. So what games are you playing now? I'm in a war phase, so I downloaded Battlefield 1. I forgot how much fun this game is, hectic gameplay and lots of action. I only run as medic and I most of the time end up topping stats for most revives in a round. Gotta keep pushing somehow! If we have one of these that I've missed, delete or merge this thread.

Currently playing Code Vein. Got it from monthly games long ago and getting close to the end I think. Decent game, the cartoonish characters doesnt bother me, the environment is quite good. Not a big game though, played about 30 hours so far.

Dying light 2. This game is really getting to me I should of read up on the achievements but I've made so many mistakes and re plays but I'm almost done.

I'm in the process of downloading Modern Warfare, looking forward to starting the Campaign!

I absolutely loved FFIX it’s my favourite to play from the final fantasy games which I have played, VII, VIII, IX and XIII I would be interested in a remake but probably wouldn’t get it for the same reason I didn’t get FFVII remake in that I just don’t have good enough hardware to do it justice

I'd second @Luseth's view on Jurassic World Evolution. It is very well made and really easy to get into too. Graphically looks nice and not as intense as the old Sim City games could be. NBA sounds interesting, maybe to see what online feels like. Not played one in ages.

If you are into any sim city esque games do not give the jurassic world evolution games a miss, I played the first one and they are really well done 🙂

How many players can Chilavry 2 have online, Matt? I may loopk at the others but we have Gran Turismo, Wreckfest and then even GTA Races which are all great racing games we can already play.

I am not overly keen on racing games so for me 2 of them just look crap. The third however I have played on the xbox and is actually quite good fun, think fps styled sword combat and definately one some of us on here could have fun with I reckon.

I am currently playing GTA Vice City.

Just completed Gears of War after revisiting it for the first time in 16 or so years. Now started on the 2008 sequel. Hoping to get in Metal Gear Rising in a couple of weeks for its 10th year anniversary and somehow gotta find time to squeeze in Hogwarts Legacy if I pick it up this month!

Indeed, although my aim is horrible anyway, rarely I'll go over 10 kills in a round, double the deaths but still end up within the top 10 players. So works out for me. 😅

I've been really enjoying switch games lately, especially Death's Door, which I got for Christmas! Great game!

I always used to play medic too! Got so many points not shooting a single person 😂
