How did I miss this thread, that's an impressive collection and puts mine to shame @Sir.Arthur, all your hardware is in such lovely condition as well!!

£700 plus the price of the console ^_^

My son has a PSVR and still uses it from time to time. I've had plenty of goes on it and its a fun thing to play on for the odd 15-30 minutes but I would say most games aren't really looking that amazing on PSVR for what I enjoy. It works for the younger generation though as I think they've grown up with those standards on what they see. Plus its very helpful for sensory kids, more than people realise. The PSVR2 looks way better and i'm more interested in that then any other one. The wire on it doesn't bother me as much as I think it could bother others these days when they are looking for the most 'mobile' devices they can get their hands on. Meta Quest is cheaper than the PSVR2 which will definitely help because not many can afford or justify nearly £700 for PSVR2 if you want it with games, even more with charger accessories.

No, I think it works with the PS4, it's just easier with one of each. Someone spoke to me about it years ago and I think the idea is say you buy it on your psn account, set your partners playstation as your primary ps4 and then set yours as her primary PS4, then log onto your own account on your own machine (not the one you set as primary) and it should give you access to the digital games on the other account. Least I think that's the principle ^_^ Sorry if I have confused you more though, maybe a youtube search might be better! 😄

You would need to look into it but I think if you gameshare on PS4 i.e. set each others consoles as primary and then bought it digitally I think you could buy one copy but still both play it. I have never done it though but maybe something to look into? As an example -

Overheard @Stretch616 @GazzaGarratt and @Luseth playing last night, and I will admit I got massive FOMO! Might have to see if I can break the bank and get it soon... Although I do suspect I'd have to get two copies as the Misses would want to play as well.

Yeah, this blows me away @Sir.Arthur! Some incredible special editions!! And you have Cotton for the Neo Geo Pocket too! 🥵 Do you have any kind of no go's where you don't get certain versions or do you go for everything about certain games you love in any language regardless if its hard to play/understand? For instance, my Neo Geo Pocket and CD Collection I will never want to buy Japanese versions because I can't understand them when I want to sit down and play them, even if they could be more affordable. Seriously, some of this kit is truly one of a kind and I envy you so much!! Nice work mate ❤️

I'll share with you some pics of my collection starting from Castlevania games.

For the first proper AR kit to be available to the wider public, it was likely always going to be on the steep side. It does and will look like the future - AR is where all gaming developers and most other tech people say we will be in 5-10 years. So for that reason, I can start to understand why we're seeing the first one now hit the market can be a good thing and at the same time the price be astronomically out of reach of so many of us which is disappointing. Seems more of a technical statement to the outside world that Apple still matter more than anything else.

VR has literally come nowhere since Half Life Alyx and still the majority of publishers are still unwilling to take a risk and there's nowhere near enough specialist developers in this field. The Quest 2 has really driven sales as a great entry-level piece of kit and has captured exclusives like Resident Evil 4 VR but even then, it's not really grown much Facebook themselves are burning over $10bn a year on AR and VR as part of their Metashite and they've come out of it with nothing more than something weaker than VR chat. Apple are just trying to get ahead and they will just end up with technology that is heavily under-utilised and then deemed a waste of money flop. If they had a string of compelling software to immediately push boundaries then it would be an eye opener but as per, it'll be a fad that YouTubers and some celebs schmooze over and then it'll be back in the box for the foreseeable.

This isn't a huge upgrade on the 2, it's very much quality of life improvements that I can see so far. If you have never given VR a go though it really will blow your mind the first time you experience it (if we ever get invited to your garden bar / outhouse I will bring mine with 🙂 ) I must admit I have not seen it so I will check it out!

That's exactly what it would mean. Activision has a unique version of Cod for China. So there is precedence of a product not being available everywhere. This would be as a result of the UK refusing to allow the merger and a limitation imposed by the UK So activation would be following the ruling. They wouldn't operate in a country which denied the merger

You can adjust the graphics and pixelation so that the world isn't pixilated at all, but the enemies remain the same. Game is excellent🙂

No co op trophies per say but only 1 online trophy which is kill 100 zombies in a lobby with 2 other players. Most trophies are straight forward.

Oooo yes keep us updated on dyling light 2, it is in my backlog and certainly something I am looking forward to playing 🙂 And when I get to it any co-op stuff we can help each other out with and whatnot too.

Music to my ears. A thread like this can always be used for when you need help or a co-op partner for a game or stuck on a trophy and need assistance on how or ways to achieve a trophy you're have difficulty with. At the moment I'm working my way through dying light 2 which I've made a little mistake which will result in doing some bits in new game+ but will explain that in my PPR when I get the plat. Some of the quick plats on the store are fun mostly nostalgia on how they look and play.

I might have to pick up that Everybody's Golf, it looks quite good!

Here's a nice little video answering some of the most asked questions by non SC players. The game has come a long way, a long way to go still, but more and more features have really filled the game out, with lots of things to do and lots of missions, plus the occasional mass event.
