  1. It looks shite to be honest, is it the same team that made that crappy on rails Rambo game? Not trying to be a twat, but they could make a fantastic game with this IP, and what I see here does not inspire much hope.

    DMZ Season 2

Thanks @James5497@GazzaGarratt I don't know if I could pick a particular faction which has been fun but I'm going to write up about Season 2 this week as Reloaded is coming out on wednesday I'll include in this which missions in particular I found fun. there hasn't been too many frustrating ones yet.

    DMZ Season 2

I think as far as mission goes that's subjective. For example some require that you kill other operators (real players). So require that you do something "complex" like put trackers on 4 of the extract choppers. Some are high risk, like the hard drive drop off which you need to make sure don't get killed along the way or you need to completely restart. Some are very routine but allow you to do things like level up your guns. Depends what you like to do. There are tons of people for example who just love killing other operators and screwing up their missions so the killing ones are fun

Game of 2 halves for sure πŸ˜„ Just couldn't get going in the first half of the night. We were unlucky to start with but then we couldn't create enough up top. Probably needed to switch the play more some passes through the middle alongside crosses perhaps. Either way, we started to turn it around through the night ending with 4 wins out of 5. It can happen, the week before we got battered for the most part lol. Reminds me of the Overwatch days of winning most nights and then having epic fail nights losing game after game 🀣

  5. My taste was very similar to Lee. I had a load of the "Now" cassettes and CDs which probably had 30 songs on them. Then Lee and I used to listen to the boy bands, Five, Backstreet Boys, Take that A1, Another level etc 🀣🀦 I loved Whitney Houston, Beautiful South and the Carpenters, mainly because my parents had those albums. A guy at my work is well into his music and often sends me an artist to check out which is fun to do. The most recent artists being Caroline Polachek and The Electric Soft Parade

FIFA 23 - Pro Clubs MNF

I normally try and seek out the positives of a bad night but I can't find any from this week's MNF. From the moment I got on to the moment I rage quit was terrible. No passing, no support, just greediness and complacency. Not something I expected from a weekly event I usually adore.... Hopefully next week will be better.

    DayZ PVP

Good video @phil bottle. Worthwhile working out what settings should be on a private server to help players in these situations, otherwise it could end up being a really harsh experience whilst learning the game again.

  9. I don't know why all these blockbuster brands get given such lame developers with shite portfolios. I suppose as it's published in-house by the IP owners, they don't have to worry about any outlandish licencing fees so it turns into merely a cash grab opportunity using whatever dev they can get their hands on. Complete waste of time really. Definitely not as bad as some of these film-oriented games we've seen over the years but this looks so disappointing.

  10. You're not being a twat, I think my post was trying to be hopeful but knowingly watched this and thought very similar. Abut gutted tbh, was expecting way more from it but that was naive to think that way.

  11. So a gameplay reveal has come out. Its not AAA so there is that to bear in mind. Part of me feels like it would work better as a PSVR2 game perhaps? I like the puzzle solving side, I just have a little worry over controls and shooting mechanics. The nostalgia of being Robocop though is still an overwhelmingly good feeling to have, even if the game isn't top notch. Thoughts?

Great advice about the saddle! This thing is very important for comfort ride. For several years I rode on a high saddle, and I thought that it should be so! ..

    DMZ Season 2

Just as James said @Tove, this is awesome work! Your stories and updates have been a great read. So much so, I tried to have some time for some DMZ this past weekend and really enjoyed it. One quick game on Friday @LordBaguette and @James5497 jumped in with me and we ended up getting a Tier 2 quest where we needed to get a few UAV Towers done, buy a car, drive across the whole map to the City to kill 15 people with the turret and then blow it up. Hilarious stuff as there ended up being multiple teams at the Extraction point given we had around 3-4 minutes to go. I feel like those games give you the best feeling as its definitely high risk, high reward. Extracted with Β£97k but didn't realise until afterwards....just kept picking up the dog tags whilst gunfire went off everywhere. Love pieces of candy πŸ˜… Which faction has the best and fun missions to do so far in Season 2?

  14. When I was young it was just cheesy pop and chart stuff from the early-mid 90's. When I was 15 I remember buying and getting into various different artists. Things like Eminem (Slim Shady Lp +Marshall Mathers) Also things like Limp Bizkit, KoRn, Greenday, Nirvana, The Offspring, Blink 182 etc amongst many others. Was listening to more Nu Metal when Linkin Park arrived. Also bands like ill nino, Deftones, American Head Charge, System of a down, Queens of the stone age, Incubus. I then Starting going more into Heavy metal/Classic rock/Thrash and heavier stuff. Was listening to Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Deep purple, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Pantera Sepultura, Soul Fly. Was probably about 17ish by this time (Almost 20 years ago, Circa 2003ish) I always had a thing for Funk and soul, blues, reggae, indie and many other genres and rap I listened and enjoyed dance/electro/House some trance. Fat beats and DJs, but not happy hardcore. Just adding new artists over the years. My tastes are varied and vast. In the last 10 years or so I don't really listen to the heavier stuff, but still appreciate it. I will listen to most things apart from Chart pop and Country which I don't really enjoy what so ever. Exceptions being Johnny Cash or Willie Nelson. Don't mind Bluegrass or that, just not the typical country and western ting.

  15. Lol @techno, so harsh but fair πŸ˜‚. But ultimately the grind finished me off, and it’s a struggle to see what would bring me back. I have been here before though, dipped out for two seasons soon after D2 launch and I think another time. To answer @GazzaGarrattquesrion, I guess what happened to me twice to bring me back was just hearing things had been fixed and the fun was back. But I’ve not really heard anything much about lightfall other than the worlds first race took 2.5 hours which I guess makes it sound like the raid is pretty straightforward. And if it is, that’s a step in the right direction for me. The last two raids haven’t hit the mark for me. Kings Fall I always thought was too long, for my available time anyway.Vow was great in some of the encounters BUT the requirement to learn like 20 symbol names in order to do it was a pain in the ass. That raid could have been great but in the end I barely played it. Destiny was at its best when we had all those clan raids during lockdown, Deep Stone. Crypt, doing all those raids with a cast of about 14 rotating in and out was just gaming at its best and I guess for me it’s the highlight and everything else has been a bit downhill since. Not a difficult raid, spectacular, and fun. Not sure how we get back to that. I hear the grind has got a bit less, which is a good news, However my only real info I get on D2 is the destiny help account on my Twitter feed which seems to be constantly β€˜being aaare of a problem’, so not sure how well the game is holding together anyway. Happy to hear different from anyone still playing it. Also pretty sad inditement of the gaming industry that the fallback for us all remains CoD. Is that 15 years we been doing that and still nothing takes it s place!

  17. Been playing Resident Evil 5 last couple of days and it's great for co-op. Basically the mechanics of RE4 with more action and less horror. Works pretty well all in all and plenty of entertaining moments.

    DMZ Season 2

You know what, we experienced this that night too! And you're right its a sucker punch, especially when you go to one map, get the intel and need to go to the other map to drop the intel off. Love the idea of how mixing the missions across 2 maps works. Hopefully more of the same at the higher tiers.

I liked the game. Not to say that I wanted to play it again, but I liked the way the creators completed the story. I felt like a fool who did everything under the influence of manipulators πŸ˜…

  20. A mate at work once told me that they did a study that showed you usually switch off to new music around the age of 33 and then start just going over your favourite music types and songs instead of listening to whats in the charts. I can definitely feel that although I do listen to new stuff from similar backgrounds as Spotify is good at linking to your favourite tunes. @J4MES OX4D, I shit you not that was bang on in the start of my music journey, loved abit of Spice Girls! 🀣🀣 I used to listen to most stuff in the charts in the 90s and early 2000s which was quite eclectic ranging from Dance, Trance, Pop, R&B, Garage, Emo and some Indie. Pop was my first enjoyment with many Now Thats What I Call Music compilations bought for me. I had a big R&B/Garage time when it hit the charts. Craig David probably being the standout one. Indie had 6-12 month spell with Razorlight, Editors and The Kooks all releasing really good albums. When I was old enough, I loved Trance. Barthezz, Mario Picotto, Paul Van Dyk and other DJs that mixed some great compilations like Ferry Corsten. 80's synth now lives with me alot because before a teenager i'd listen to my mums 80s tracks, which were ace. Lisa Stansfield, Soul 2 Soul, Bryan Adams, etc. I probably search for alot of 80's synth type tracks and find them more entertaining now than anything new these days! One thing I would say is I struggle to listen to new songs that seem to all be Rap songs to an extent. They just don't seem to have a melodic tune to go with them, not like early Rap with Gangsta's Paradise and Set Adrift on Memory Bliss.

Nice looking bike. I bike a lot during the spring/summer just for staying in shape a bit. Prob do around 25-35 miles per week, nothing crazy but enough to keep the blood flowing since I'm almost 50 yrs old now. Mine isn't anything special, just a standard dept store $200 no name, I put some Kevlar tires/tubes on it as well as a few things like upgraded seat and speedo/lights etc. One of these days I'm like to get a nicer one like a Trek or something like you have.

Interesting looking hybrid! Things to consider: - Get a saddle bag, always handy to hold a spare tube - Make sure you have a pump which will pump up a schrader valve - Enjoy it, keep it clean, keep it well lubed Cleaning: Fine to use fairy liquid and warm water. Then rinse with normal water. Lubrication: Small moving parts - buy some GT85 and spray in small amounts to prevent rust. Large parts get some good quality Muk-off grease. Make sure you don't get any lubricants on those discs though!! If you do then you'll just need some alcohol rub to keep them clean. Also, I have a bee on my bonnet about saddle height. Don't make your saddle too high, when you extend your leg on the pedal your heel should be able to reach the pedal. Seat posts which are too high cause feet, leg, hip, back, everything pain. Other than that, ride it like you stole it!
